Einfach toll!

Eine außergewöhnliche Unterkunft! Extrem freundliches Personal und Eigentümer, die sich persönlich um einen kümmern. Der hölzerne Bungalow auf Stelzen strahlt Luxus aus, sehr geschmackvoll gestaltet, überall Mosquitonetze an den Fenstern. Besonders toll die riesige Terrasse mit Liegen unmittelbar über dem Kavango mit Blick auf Angola. Frühstück üppig, Dinner super lecker! Wir kommen bestimmt wieder!

Kleiner Tisch auf Balkon hat gefehlt.

Die Lodge hat eine 10 mit Sternchen verdient.

Die River Dance Lodge hat uns in allen Punkten mehr als überzeugt. Die Touren die wir gemacht haben waren bestens organisiert. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir ALLE Angestellten, die uns jeden Wunsch hilfsbereit und liebevoll erfüllt haben. Nochmals vielen Dank dafür !!

Superb lodge with an amazing view

Superb lodge on the Okavango river. Rooms are giant with a wonderful view directly on the river, the panoramic bathroom is amazing as well. You can also enjoy a really good dinner or a drink on the wonderful terrace of the main building. Staff is also super friendly

Stay at RiverDance - you won’t be disappointed.

Beautiful location by the Kavango River. Staff members were excellent. The sunset river cruise gave us views of hippos and a taste of local life along the river bank. An afternoon game drive into Buffalo National Park with very knowledgeable RiverDance guide,Isaac, was very productive. We were very lucky and saw plenty of different animals and birds and even came across 3 lions on a kill.

There is nothing not to like.

The river place

The place is a dream. You are in the middle of nowhere with everything you need to have a perfect stay. The view from the room desk to the river is terrific. Rooms are woden and glass made with mosquito ned so we can stay with windows open. The meals were good and offered a good amount of diferent food. The trip along the river will be always in my mind as a privilege memory.

Rooms are spacious, view from balcony to river and Angola. Food is of High quality. Freshly baked bread in the morning, yoghurt, fresh fruit, cheese, salami, and bacon egg after your choise. Evening 3 meal course is served at the table. We attended the river Cruise and had a nice sundowner with a view to hippos. Loved it all

Perfect stay, could not have been better

Impressive location on the banks of the Kavango river. Beautiful architecture, good food and very friendly people. The village tour was great, also the sunset cruise.

A piece of paradise - would give 12 out of 10 if I could!

Everything was truly outstanding! The lodge itself is very spacious, private with an amazing view on the river! The private Terrasse was great to spend an relaxed afternoon after an early game drive. The food was also outstanding: from the breakfast, to lunch and the 3-course dinner, every meal was a highlight and of extremely high quality! And finally the staff: unbelievably friendly and helpful. Overall, Riverdance Lodge exceeded our expectations by far! Also because of the great community work they’re doing in the surrounding villages (e.g.; building Kindergartens, etc). I can more than recommend anyone to stay in this little piece of paradise!

Fantastic room/chalet with a large balcony and beautiful views on the Kavango River. Great setting. Afternoon coffee with a freshly baked cake. Plenty of activities possible - I would recommend a morning drive with a bush breakfast and the sundowner boat trip to watch hippos and crocodiles. Staff is very friendly and helpful.

Dinner was good but not spectacular (looking at the price tag).

Fantastic place jute beside the Okawango. The room has a terrasse with a view on the river. Very well decorated. Very good breakfast and dinner, in the romantic restaurant. The cruise on the river, organized by the lodge, was unforgettable.

Great stay.

Once again a wonderful stay in Namibia. As we took the risk of travelling during the coronacrisis most of the time we were the only guests in the lodges we stayed in. Sad for them but oh so special for us. We were treated like kings everywhere whe stayed. The room was very special. Separate bedroom and bathroom. And what a bathroom it was!!!!! Shower and bath on a wooden soil with view on the river. The walls, looking over the river, were completely in glass, not that someone can see you, or it has to be a croc. Magnificient. Food was more than OK and staff was very helpful with everything. We made a wonderful boat trip on the river with a picnic on a sandbank.

Nothing. Or it has to be the free wifi that was not very strong but that's a detail. Just think about it that there's not much to see or do in the neighbourhood of the lodge. But that's no critic.

I would recommend anyone to treat themselves to a stay at Riverdance. The accommodation is exceptional: beautifully designed modern private cabins with a deck overlooking the river, and a very special bathroom with a river view as well. The breakfast is is divine (I strongly recommend the freshly baked brown bread every morning and the ham is to die for). Dinner is better than at many top restaurants, and the atmosphere created on the lounge deck overlooking the river with the nightly fire burning is Africa at its best . We partook in two activities on offer: the river cruise and a game drive in their open game vehicle and found both outings more than worthwhile. The hosts are extremely attentve and go the extra mile in every possible way. We also appreciated the fact that the owners seem to care deeply for the community around them and are nvolved in a number of outreach projects.
