A privately owned Chalet within the Pinnacle Valley Resort offering all of the amenities of the Resort, but with the personal touches of a family run property.

Located close to the Mount Buller & Mt Stirling Entry Gates.
This stylish 2 bedroom apartment is ideal for a couple, small family or group looking for a Snow Holiday or up to enjoy the summer delights of Mt Buller and surrounding High Country.
Keysafe entry at front door saves the hassle of picking up keys enroute which delays arrival after a long drive
An open plan living area with full kitchen, dining table and comfortable sofa seating around Gas Log Fire.
Balcony for dining or taking in the sights of kangaroo, deer and bird life.
Downstairs there is one spacious bedroom with 2 singles (or can convert into a King) modern bathroom with bath.
Upstairs is the main bedroom with king bed, flat screen TV and en-suite. All linen and towels provided.
The living room has a sofa bed for additional sleeping, and a portacot is offered for the smaller child.

Our stay at Sherpas rest was brilliant. Great accommodation and would recommend it to anyone as the only place you should book in the area.
The host was magnificent and everything they have setup is for maximum comfort.

Wonderful chalet accommodation over 2 levels. The property had great views with kangaroos and a variety of bird life hanging out just outside. The property was easy to find with ample parking nearby. We ate at the on-site restaurant which was lovely. The chalet exceeded our expectations and we were very comfortable.

Lovely little property on resort with facilities. Needs of those coming off the mountain after a day skiing well accommodated. Beautiful spot. Really enjoyed our stay.

We very much enjoyed staying at Sherpa's rest, Pinnacle Valley Resort. Had a very relaxing time, everything was well presented and the communication from the owner Phil was excellent. Enjoyed the bottle of red on arrival, and the fact that we had access to the main Pinnacle Valley resort facilities. The wildlife was amazing, lots of kangaroos around the place and a variety of birdlife landing on the balcony each day. The location is close to the Mt Buller main gate so we were able to drive up easily each day to the carpark and then catch the bus (5 min) to the Village. Tip: your Mt Bulller entry pass can be priinted at the Peaks restaurant reception, so that you don't have to pay the $6 each day to print it on arrival at the Mt Buller gate. We spent 5 days skiiing and had a fantastic time, despite the weather being quite foggy/rainy at times. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a great time at this lovely property. The natural beauty and wildlife made it particularly special. Phil the host was excellent, even taking our call on Xmas day when we couldn’t figure out how to turn on the oven! 5/5 stars

The chalet was comfortable, in a great location, and had everything we needed to relax over a couple of nights. Also has the benefit of using the Sebel's facilities, namely the pool & tennis court!

The cabin itself looked tired. The mattress need changing and a paint job would be good.
It's a shame that the gas fireplace wasn't working. It was one of the reasons I booked it. The resort itself was amazing. Great facilities and beautiful scenery.

Recommend for those with kids, very clean, fast responsiveness from owner and highly recommend. Would stay again.

Two night stay
We had a comfortable and enjoyable stay on Friday and Saturday nights. We appreciated the generous supply of basics, having experienced another place recently where supplies were minimal.
The spiral stairs are narrow with a vertical handrail. Fine for able bodies, but not the elderly. And the downstairs shower is over a bath; again not ideal for the elderly.
The fireplace was OOO, but the central heating worked well and the place was warm. The bedroom windows can be opened for fresh air (not possible in another place we rented recently).
Phil was responsive by email. Judging from the photos in the unit, he likes mountain climbing!

Great weekend in Merijig
Such a nice place to stay.
One family member did MTB downhill series at Mt Buller while a few of us stayed at resort and filled our days in well without leaving.
Thanks for the bottle of red. It was my birthday while there and we enjoyed it on balcony watching the kangaroos.

Nice property in a good location
The Chalet was well maintained and in a great location. Close to the resort facilities and a short drive to the ski village. The proper manager was extremely helpful.

Nice location
The property was not quite as advertised, no spa and sauna facilities which is why I booked it. The owner was very pushy and demanded we be out before 10am. He then tried to charge us extra because 2 empty cruiser bottles were left on the coffee table. I would recommend the location but not this particular property.

Excellent place, excellent host! Phil is very responsive and generous! Kids loved the feeding the parrot and getting a close look at the kangaroos, Definitely enough in the resort itself to keep the family entertained for a few days

Why pay ridiculous rates & taxis on the mountain?
This was a great place to stay for an easy commute up to Buller. The kids loved having a spa and playing mini golf after the day of skiing! Loved not paying $150 for taxi for the weekend!

We had an awesome time at the Sherpa's rest in the Pinnacle Valley resort. Only a few mn away from Mount Buller and Mount Stirling.
The resort is fantastic with many activities both for children and adults.
The property is very clean, modern and very well equipped, all you need to cook!

A great place to stay
A great place to stay, modern throughout, well appointed kitchen complete with dishwasher, TV's in each bedroom and lounge, a two great bathrooms. We found the place relaxing to stay in, and the resort took care of the rest with a great restaurant, spa facilities, ski hire and only 10 mins from Mt Buller.

This place is lovely
We had this chalet for 2 nights the stuff where very helpful, it's close to the mt Buller witch is where we spent most of our day but was so nice to come back to a really cozy and relaxing place, and the owner phill is super nice and layed back we will defiantly be coming back next winter
