Exceptional

We stayed in the Pink Flamingo either side of our Kilimanjaro trek. Agatha and Klaus are wonderful hosts and their team made us feel very welcome. The hotel is a haven of comfort just a short distance from the bustle of Moshi. With comfortable rooms, relaxed settings and excellent home made food, the experience felt more like a homestay than a hotel, which gave a real break from travel. We will definitely stay there again.

A beautiful space from which to base yourself with staff who are more than happy to share local insight.

The Pink Flamingo was a beautiful oasis to base ourselves in while exploring the local surrounds and preparing for a Kilimanjaro hike. Staff were so accomodating to needs and couldn’t do more to help facilitate transport, activities and a very pleasant and relaxed stay. The property was immaculate, everyone was welcoming and the view from the patio was spectacular.

Very elegant and clean hotel. The room is very comfortable with large space. A nice nest in a very refined tropical garden with a beautiful view close Mt Kilimandjaro The big swimming pool with direct access from the terrace makes the place very luxurious Very friendly staff and owners Bravo

We liked so much our 1st stay that we came back for a second time. We stayed in the Deluxe room with direct access to the swimming pool. The room is amazing and so spacious. Just confirming our opinion that it is the place to visit when you stay in Moshi Thanks to take care of your guests as you do Wish you all the best

Our stay at Pink Flamingo Boutique Hotel

Our whole experience from beginning to end was wonderful. We stayed before and after our Kili climb. Everyone is so kind and welcoming. The surroundings are beautiful and peaceful. Gorgeous tropical gardens. Comfortable sitting and relaxing areas all around the property. Every attention is given to detail and it shows. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Food was excellent including breakfasts. Tea/coffee and snacks available throughout the day. This was such a relaxing and peaceful experience for us. We will come back and highly recommend it!

Great stay in a charming property

Property is charming, surrounded by greenery.. The decor is done tastefully with an eye for details.. The hosts Klaus and Agatha are warm and welcoming.. The doggies Magnus and Olivia add to the homely environment.. Staff are friendly and attentive.. Our room was spacious and comfortable. We had a very enjoyable and relaxing stay!

The property is large and therefore slightly away from the road. While not an issue during the day, finding the entry from the road at night was a little difficult because there are no street lamps.

Stay at this place if you ever fly into JRO, no question it’s the best hotel within along distance.

Everything about this place is amazing! Klaus and Agatha and the team are quite possibly the best hosts in the world. Facilities are amazing and well kept. Service is like an unpretentious Mandarin Oriental hotel, which is absolutely incredible.

Quiet and relaxing! We enjoyed the food so much and Klaus made us feel at home.

The puppies were so friendly and the staff made sure me and my mom were comfortable and taken care of! We were so tired after the safari we appreciated the peace and quiet of the hotel.

Fantastic hotel to relax

We stayed in an apartment with a private pool and it was exceptional, the rooms were big and the bathrooms felt like luxury. The pool area was lovely to hang out. It's run by a friendly German couple, Klaus and Agata, who were always happy to help. The small number of rooms gives the hotel a relaxed and intimate feel. The spa was also great value for money and I had one of the best massages ever.

There wasn't anything that I didn't like. It's about 15 mins outside Moshi which was great for the scenery/peacefulness but means you have to be organised about ordered taxis, and some of the local tuk tuk drivers in Moshi don't know the location.

Interior, exterior, amenities, hospitality, food, decoration... I could go on. All were outstanding. Many many leagues ahead in terms of quality to any other accommodation you would find in Moshi or the vicinity. Unreservedly recommended. Thanks for the excellent stay.

A home away from home. Magnificent!!

Just a beautiful boutique hotel. The staff are wonderful, especially the owner Klaus, so friendly and also a fantastic chef! The pool area is picturesque, it has a Mediterranean villa feel with wonderful scenery all around. The view of Kili is amazing! The rooms are huge, so clean along with the most comfortable bed. There is a lovely relaxing area upstairs to lie out and chill. We absolutely loved our stay in the Pink Flamingo. Couldn't recommend it highly enough. Cannot wait to return!!

Amazing. Would highly recommend.

The space was huge and the facilities were amazing with a clear view of Mt. Kilimanjaro. The coffee station was excellent, with espresso pods always available. The staff were friendly and special recommendation to Yasmin. The owner was always ready to help.

Incredible stay!

Absolutely loved our stay here - it is even better in person than in photos (and it's great in photos!). The property is stunning. Great pool area, incredible interior, huge rooms. Everything very clean also. We really enjoyed the food. Breakfast was really nice and they even prepared everything really early for us before our flight. Pasta after a Kilimanjaro hike was perfect.

Nothing could have been improved.

Wonderful, clean and beautiful boutique hotel. Excellent rooms, super comfortable beds, towels were high quality, bathroom ample with hot shower and great water pressure. Pool is beautiful and clean, breakfast is wonderful and fresh- Quick 10 minutes in to town- Owners are nice, professional and accommodating to any request. Great security on the property. Food was delicious except the pizza.

Early morning cleaning outside our room -too early - also the driver Pascal they sent to pick us up was not friendly at all compared to other drivers we had on vacation
