Do not say here!!!! This man is a crook.

The location was close to family and we were in town for a wedding.

This booking was found for me by a family member who lives close by the listing. My family of 6 came to town for the weekend, upon arrival the first impression was not good. The outside of the house looked nice and a little unkept but it was ok. The inside of the house was very dirty and had a bad smell. We were going to be busy the whole weekend so I knew we would really just be sleeping there and not there much so we stayed knowing we would lose our money if not. My daughter's feet were black from walking around barefoot and the house had a dusty mildewy smell. Anyway we stayed there and checked out this morning, we pulled all the sheets from the beds and made piles of towels in the bathrooms like we always do. I cleaned everything back up and put it in it's place, loaded the dishwasher with the few dishes we used, and placed all trash in the trash cans and checked out. Within 30 min of checking out im receiving a ton of messages and pictures saying that we broke a TV and left spills and stains all over apparently every bed and sheets that were ruined. I am sent photos that show absolutely no proof of what was claimed to be stained or damaged. I explained to the owner that we were barely there other than to sleep and that his home was dirty and not worth the money we paid. I told him that the accusations he was saying we did were wrong! He continued to tell me that I am responsible for replacing a tv that we didn't break and sheets that we didn't stain. I am appalled. I reported him and filed a dispute with booking.com and told him I would he leaving a bad review any place I could to warn people to not stay here. I then come to leave a review and start reading other reviews... Noticing that every bad review he has been left he comes back with a. Response blaming them for damaging something or demanding free stays ect. He is trying to play people for there hard earned money! Sir you should be ashamed of yourself! DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!!!!!!!!

This was a beautiful property! I loved the acreage and the fact that the delivery driver could still find the place!!! It was an awesome house pictures don’t do it justice !!!

my stay was everything I needed it to be.

I liked everything about the property. it was very secluded and clean as well. the pictures do not give the house justice because it was beautiful inside. The rooms were very nice and clean and the master suite was great. All the beds were made and there were tv’s in every room. the host had very good communication and answered all my questions before, during and after my stay. I left something there and he even managed to get it back for me.I will be booking again within the next month.

Very poor

Not one thing. We were contacted by message several times before we even arrived. It was very intrusive. We were even lectured at to not have parties. We are Grandparents, and we rented this vacation home, because we have a small dog. Who in the world talks to other adults that way? After seeing the place and location, it seemed logical that this place was rented for people raising hell and partying. Our shoes stuck to the kitchen floor. Food was on the wall behind two trash cans. The living room rug was so filthy, it looked like it had never been cleaned, and there was stuff all over the furnishings as well.

Worst experience ever. This inhumane person ruined our weekend and caused terrible trauma. The place was nothing as described. It was in a terrible part of the city. I would not let my husband get out of the vehicle to get gas it was so bad. (noticed later when we went up a couple blocks to a main thoroughfare) The place was filthy. We had been told that coffee, cream, sugar was provided. There was expired, coagulated milk in the fridge, one keurig coffee pod, and about a quarter of a bag of ground coffee that looked to be five years old. He said he had gone to turn the house alarm off, but did not check the condition of the house? My husband and I left to attend a concert, the purpose of our trip. I was very hesitant to leave, but we thought all was secure. As it turns out, too much so. We were instructed to not park on the grass and use the back door. When we returned, we could not get in. You had to enter a code, and sometimes you could hear the thing spinning; other times, nothing. We tried to contact the owner several times by phone and text. The rain started in after a bit, and the huge German Shepards in the backyard of the house behind us were barking like crazy. So for the next couple hours, we ran from our vehicle to the door pad with rain pelting on us hoping that the vicious dogs had not cleared the fence. We were terrified. Each time we came to the door, our puppy was crying just inside. After calling the police to no avail and hearing nothing from the owner, we finally got the keypad to work. Only took over two hours. Funny, while I was on the line with booking.com, someone from Singapore had tried to call my phone. The listed owner. Made sense with the decor inside. I do not know who this creep of a person this was texting me from the states, but he was not the listed owner. This terrible person finally called us at 2:38 AM.

Came up for Christmas to visit my son and felt right at home. Got there and the pipes were frozen but the staff came out right away and fixed the issue. The place had me feeling like I was back at home. Definitely will stay again.

Loved our overnight stay.

Easy to get to and from football Stadium. Took about 20 minutes. Quiet location and plenty of space. Homeowner was very accommodating.

We will be back!

The beds were very comfortable. House was charming with a great big yard where the children could run and play. The amenities were outstanding, regular coffee maker, k cup and espresso also. The kitchen, in general, was very well equipped but we didn't really do any cooking. Upstairs suite was beautiful. Really enjoyed our two night stay and the price was right.

The main floor and exterior could use a bit of TLC, mostly cosmetic stuff like painting and deep cleaning. This is an old house and I understand the quirks inherent so these things were not really a problem.

WORST RENTAL HOME WE HAVE EVER STAYED IN

There was nothing I liked about the property. The location was convenient for events we were attending in KC.

What an absolute DUMP of a rental! Entry door was jammed due to a warped floor so we had to push our way into the house. Kitchen sink was left full of muddy residue. Floors throughout the house were unswept, not vacuumed, and just plain dirty to the extent that we could not take our socks off. The 2 bathrooms were gross with moldy, soap scum covering the shower curtains & one tub had NO hot water. The guest towels were dingy with yellow stains. The place smelled musty and dust was everywhere. The air quality made me physically unwell. The layout is very awkward with doors in all the wrong places, opening into each other. My 13 y/old was so creeped out he wouldn't sleep alone. And my daughter literally walked around the place trying to pray the dark, haunting vibes away. We were all extremely uncomfortable the entire time. We experienced a family emergency and left after 1 sleepless night, requesting a refund for the unused days. When I notified the host we were leaving because my father passed away I was ghosted for a while and then informed there would be no refund for the unused days and referred to the booking.com policy. Booking.com would do well to remove this person as a host. My family has been staying in rentals for travel for the last 10 years. Clean and functional are basic expectations. I was completely scammed.

it was great for what we needed with a large group of young people. lots of space and a beautiful location.

The steps going upstairs were pretty steep and it was quite warm upstairs.

The host is very accommodating, our family has been dealing with being displaced due to a house fire, he made sure we were able to check in and out smoothly. The home has enough room for a family to rest and be at peace. The property is quiet and tranquil.

The setting was great for country setting and not far from shopping and venues. Beds were comfy and upstairs cozy layout. Newer appliances and nice dishes, utensils, and cookware. Pet runner worked great.

The kitchen needs a deep cleaning to remove left over mice droppings. Especially in lower cabinets and utensil drawers. Roach traps should be in less conspicuous areas. Any open food containers/food should be discarded to cut down on pest. Water pressure low and could not get shower to work in upstairs bath. Area rugs need occassional steam clean or removed. To fix the oven temperature reading, not able to read the degrees. Weather stripping to help seal gaps in the back and front doors.

Best beds ever...

We loved the beds & the sheets on the beds! There were nice tvs in every bedroom & a large tv in the living room. The lights were on for us & the ac had been turned down. Easy check in!

A few doors need adjusted as they drag on the floor. Main floor bath needs a new shower liner & the light flickers in there.

Cozy feel, good ac. It was close to places we were visiting.

Stove, and fridge were not very clean. No decent pans. We had to wash some pans before we used them.
