One step through the lower level entry and you're greeted with the cozy atmosphere. Hang your belongings on the hooks nearby and get ready to explore!
As you head upstairs to the main level is when the lodges striking beauty takes hold. Towering vaulted ceilings and gorgeous log supports highlight the craftsmanship all viewable from an open floor plan. Enjoy these calming views from the fully equipped kitchen as you cook up family favorites with help from the six burner gas range top, granite counters, and top of the line appliances. Indulge in relaxation as heat pours from the sizable central gas fireplace into the lounge. Read local literature or catch up on your most-liked programs displayed from the lounges flat screen TV. Adjacent to the living area is a round mahogany dining table that seats eight with convenient French door access to the private deck. This is a beautiful and well-kept home! We all greatly enjoyed our stay; our adult kids were working from "home" and the internet worked well for meetings, etc.The home backs up to the woods and felt very private, with the advantage of the ski resort and downtown Steamboat being only minutes away. The kitchen and living areas were well appointed with everything we needed to cook and be very comfortable. We enjoyed the large dining table for family games, and the living spaces on all three floors, as well as the deck and hot tub. The property management company responded quickly to our texted questions and was very helpful. We loved the cool mountain air in the home, even on days when it was warm outside (there were also fans in each room, but we didn't need them). Thanks for a wonderful week, and we hope to return again to this home!

We just stayed this last week at Stick & Stones Lodge. What a fabulous place to vacation! My husband and I hosted a family reunion with all of our 4 adult children and two friends. With 8 of us, it was fantastic to have 3 living areas, along with 4 bedrooms. The house was like our own personal mountain lodge. The lodge was stocked with all the necessities. We only had to buy food and drinks. We cooked every night and really enjoyed the warmth of the lodge. We had the fireplace going constantly, which provided a glow to the family room. The warm garage to keep our car, the hot tub right off the back deck, and the extra spacious rooms all added to a positive feel.
The lodge is in a perfect location. It's only a mile from the slopes and so close to stores and downtown. We used the free shuttle daily and had a great experience with timely service and friendly drivers.
We had a few items for which we needed help...we texted our contact and immediately had answers/fixes.
I would highly recommend this lodge to our family and friends. It's an A+++ experience.

We were a bit nervous with the property not being a ski in/ski out but the shuttle service was extremely convenient…very little wait times. Each driver was professional and knowledgeable of the area.

The stick and stones lodge meet all our expectations. My in laws and three children had plenty of room. The views were spectacular! The hot tub was a BIG bonus! We used it everyday we were there. The property was very clean. I would recommend downloading the shuttle app prior to arrival. The shuttle was a huge help as well. Never had to move my rental. I would highly recommend this property. Can't wait to return!

House was in a nice location. Very comfortable beds. However coffee maker needs to be replaced (coffee grounds spill into carafe because the part that allows the coffee to drip is old and malfunctioning), and the dish washer needs to be replaced as it doesn't wash dishes well (had to wash them by hand).

We absolutely loved this home - it made for a perfect family Christmas gathering. The layout provides for plenty of room and the furniture quality and comfort was top- notch. The pictures shown are accurate but the 'real thing' is even nicer aesthetically. If we had any questions or a minor issue, the property management team was extraordinarily responsive. As a frequent renter of vacation properties, this has to be at the top of our list. The shuttle provided was a big plus for us and was always timely - so convenient! Highly recommend the house and Steamboat as a vacation spot!

We had a wonderful stay at Sticks and Stones lodge. A quiet location but easy walk to the base of the mountain. A shuttle service runs to the thunderhead lift making for easy access to the mountain. The management company is very helpful and responsive. A great stay!

Simply perfect!
Sticks and Stones did not break our bones…exactly the opposite! The house was incredibly cozy and comfortable. It had all the necessities and many luxuries - we did not want for anything. It's easy access from downtown but tucked away for a peaceful stay with potential for wildlife viewing. We had a mama moose and her baby stop by, and later a visit from a wandering bear. Ending the night with a soak in the hot tub under the stars was perfect.

Thanksgiving getaway
What a wonderful home. We had 2 families (7 people total) stay over Thanksgiving weekend and everyone had such a good time. There was plenty of room for all of us (probably room for 2 more families!) and the entire process was very smooth from start to finish. The kitchen is very well stocked with everything you would need (we made Thanksgiving dinner!) and the amenities were just what we were looking for. We didn't even mind that the ski lifts didn't open for the weekend because we had the amazing fireplace and hot tub! Thanks so much, we enjoyed this house immensely and hope to stay again!

Fantastic Steamboat Cabin
We had an excellent stay at the cabin while on vacation in Steamboat. They had everything we needed in the kitchen to have breakfast, lunch, and dinner. They provided local soaps and Aveda shampoo in all the bathrooms. The property was very clean and spacious. It was also quiet. The hot tub was nice and clean. We sat on the back deck and saw mule deer and a bear one day. I highly recommend staying here.

Wonderful summer vacation
This house is just as beautiful as it looks online. The kitchen is very well stocked, we cooked in most nights. We ate almost all meals outside on the spacious deck and slept every night with windows open! Such a treat to get away from Midwest's humidity. Close to hiking kayaking and biking!

Wonderful Experience
We couldn't be happier with the house and the service provided by Steamboat Lodging Company! The house was absolutely beautiful! Rustic mountain ambiance, spacious, and with all the amenities that you could think of. The hot tub was a bonus. SLC is great to work with. They communicated frequently and made sure everything was perfect! Will definitely book with them again.

Perfect getaway
Great experience renting this property and loved the home. Great floor plan that allowed us several areas where we could come together as a family, but enough separation for everyone to have their own space as well. Hope to come back and stay again in the future.

Overall, a great experience. The property is reltiavley secluded and has a charming mountain vibe; it felt like we were in a large treehouse. I would recommend to any group or family.
