You get what you pay for.

The owners of the property were nice enough. My main critique of this place is that the location is a bit far from the village. Not an issue if you don't mind walking 20ish minutes or so. If you're traveling on a budget this could be a good option. Overall, it was a reminder of "you get what you pay for."

Location. Rooms were outdated.

Très autenthique, cabane agréable et relaxante

Lieu super ! Petite maisonnette j’étais à la 5eme tout au bout vue sur la jungle , lit très confortable tout parfait au niveau du logement. La nuit ce n’est pas des singes qu’on entend mais des écureuils qui sautent sur les toits. Excursion moins cher qu’ailleurs aussi

La dame de l’accueil vraiment désagréable ! Elle a fait que m’éviter et faisait exprès de pas me répondre ou quand je posais une question elle partait et revenait longtemps après. Très irrespectueux et incompétent. J’ai reserve des nuits en plus sur booking parce qu’elle avait la flemme de me réserver elle même et le lendemain elle croyait que j’avais pas payer et que je devais faire le Check out… bref Heuresement que là huit était incroyable

La propreté, pas de wifi, pas de frigo, des animaux et insectes dans la chambre, pas de service de ménage, pas d’informations sur le check-in qui se fait à la résidence d’à côté, mauvaise isolation, réception trop peu disponible

Nice property, quiet and well located. Clean and comfy room. More modern than bamboo cabana ! Helpfull staf.

The view of the garden.

The owners were dour, and the only communication was on arrival when the manager asked what tours we wanted to go on. There was nowhere to put clothes; the blanket was too small for 2 people, and the water kept cutting out. On the plus side, the air con and fan worked. We felt the price was far too high for the facilities offered. We would not stay again.

I would dodge this place if you are planning on staying in Khao sok wasn’t clean and a bit far to walk to the main road.

the monkeys visited us at our balcony one morning which was a funny experience

the drainage in our toilet stank , we had been given a very thin blanket to share as our duvet . also they didn’t clean the room at any point of our 3 night stay , didn’t offer to change our towels and also the owners were very moody and rude

comfortable stay and extremely helpful and friendly staff. a bit further from the main road

the rooms were comfortable. we stayed one night in a double room with a fan and one night with aircon. we booked the second night when we were there and got the aircon room for the same price as booking the fan room through booking.com. the staff were very friendly and helpful, they helped us book a 2 day tour on Cheow Lan lake, and organised direct transport to Krabi.

the wooden walkways were extremely slimy and it was hard to NOT slip even when taking the most care. pressure hosing the wooden walkways would be great and increase safety. the property is about a 10 minute walk to the main road, where you have to walk around the long way. as the crow flies the property is actually a few hundred metres from the main road but due to private property and the National park you are not able to access it that way. the second room we stayed in had a naked lady on the bathroom door. lol

The room is spacious and tidy. The bathroom has a hot shower. The area is very calm.

It takes around 10/15 minutes to get to the “center” of the village by foot. The path that leads to the bungalows is dark - you need to use a torch in the evening.

there was lots of nature surrounding the resort

wifi was very slow, if you come and have to work, be careful. there was very little water coming out of the shower (but good pressure) tiny room without wardrobe

Unattentive and frustrating situations

The location is awesome in a little jungle alcove in our own little hut was super nice. The tour/tourist deals they have are significantly less than other destinations - for example we only paid 250 bhat for tubing when other places charge 400+.

Firstly, the WiFi did not work at all, so if you think wifi is an essential, do not come here. Moreover, The staff were practically non-existent and quite unhelpful in many regards. We asked for a blanket and never recieved one and nobody was ever on reception for us to follow up or answer our questions. We asked to make the wifi work, and was met with disdainful looks which we found rude - it was like us staying there was a hindrance. The strangest part was the air-conditioning situation, which the owner kept taking our remote and 'lending' it to other guests. If by lending i mean take it away and not bring it back. So we were stuck on a setting that we couldn't change, which was odd and frustrating. I'd give it an all round 5/10.

Nice new modern unit, well located an east walk to the main street, the park ticket office and restaurants.

We would have liked a fridge in the room.
