Located in the Mack’s Inn area of Island Park, Aunt Ethel’s Cabin is more than just a gem in the pines! This Luxury custom-built cabin that has everything from an outdoor hot tub to a giant children’s slide in the upper loft. Grab a crew and play on the upstairs pool table/ ping pong table, or enjoy a fire in the fire pit outside. The fully stocked kitchen makes cooking easy for large groups and provides ample seating for every guest. Each bedroom has its own full bathroom and there is even an extra kitchenette in the loft bedroom above the garage. Tall vaulted ceilings and large windows provide a breath taking view of the surrounding pines. The down stairs fire place gives the cabin a cozy cabin ambiance and is great for warming up after a long day in the cold weather.
The location of Aunt Ethel’s Cabin couldn’t be better as it is just 25 miles to the West Entrance to Yellowstone National Park. It is also just down the road from local amenities such as the grocery store and many delicious restaurants. The cabin is just off Big Springs Road, which is the headway to the Big Springs boat ramp, where you can launch your kayak for a nice summer float. It is also near the river itself that is home to an abundant amount of moose that frequent the area. Not only is the area great for short hikes or bike rides, but is also a great place to take off on your ATV or snowmobile. Some of the best trail systems are near the cabin but none pass by the cabin making it a nice and quiet place to enjoy your mountain get away. Stayed here for a few nights for a family trip. Party of 14 which included parents with three adult children and their families with children. Was a perfect layout. Each family got their own quarters. Place was big enough for full family gatherings. A/C kept the place cool. "Cabin" is well equipped for large family gatherings. It has plenty of items for meal prep and food storage containers. They provide a nice large griddle for making morning pancakes. Complete with two refrigerators for plenty of food and beverage storage. We loved our stay that included a day float down the lazy Henry's fork as well as a trip through Yellowstone. Even made a quick trip to Big Springs on the morning of checkout. Could not have found a better place to stay. Plenty of outside space and shade for outside BBQ dinners. Comfortable furnishings and beds, felt like home. We did not have any issues and did not contact the Property manager for anything more than getting the place scheduled. This place was perfect for our summer family road trip, will look to stay here again when we head back this way.

My family and I stayed at this property for a week in the summer. Every little detail in this house has been well thought-out - we loved that each bedroom had an en suite bath and the play area for the kids made keeping them occupied on rainy days so easy. The kitchen was also well-stocked, a second fridge made sure we had plenty of space, and the large washing machine made keeping our laundry clean a breeze. Finally, our toddler had a comfortable and clean pack and play to sleep in, which meant a lot. I'll also note that we had an issue with the hot tub one day and the property manager took care of the issue right away. We encountered no other issues while at the property - everything was very clean and fully in working order. Overall, we'd happily stay here again when visiting Yellowstone or the other attractions in this area. Our family had an absolutely wonderful experience!

Great central location to Gallitin, Yellowstone, Jackson Hole and the Grand Teton's! Island park was a perfect city to rest and relax in between our excursions. The house was perfect for our large group and had plenty of games to entertain kids and adults!

Private oasis
We rented this cabin for our family vacation to Yellowstone. 8 of us comfortably fit and had space to move about. The cabin was absolutely gorgeous and exceeded our expectations. Beds were roomy and comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. The hot tub was fantastic after a long day of hiking. The only feedback we have is the water pressure in the showers could have been better but that was honestly the only thing we could say that wasn’t fantastic! Thanks for having us.

Oasis in Island Park
Our group loved staying here! There was plenty of room, the beds were comfortable and the amenities were great. We mainly traveled to and from Yellowstone, which was anywhere between 1-1.5 hours drive depending on where in the park we were headed. After the day in the park we were able to come back, relax and enjoy the house. Had a lovely time! Highly recommend staying here.

Yellowstone Trip
We all enjoyed the cabin. Very roomy, clean and appealing to all members of the family. We even had a moose outside our window. We enjoyed our stay very much and would recommend the cabin as a great family place to stay.

Great house, tough communication
When we arrived, the door entry code didn't work so we had to call several people just to get it in. The second day, we came home to a missing key, no wrong door entry code , and noticed someone had been in the house, (they never communicated someone was coming) so we obviously were nervous. Then on the morning we were supposed to run a half marathon, the water was off. We called and they advised they were trying to get in touch with the owner, but it was never turned on before we had to leave for the race.
Again, the house is great, the communication and response time is definitely lacking. I hope they learn from this trip and make adjustments accordingly.

Comfortable and beautiful home
This was a great home to enjoy a week away with family. It was close enough to Yellowstone to visit daily, yet just far enough away to avoid the crowds. The kids loved holding nightly pool and table tennis competitions. The hot tub was nice to come back to after a long day of hiking. The property manager was quick to respond and great to work with.

Beautiful cabin with fun for the whole family
The property is huge and impressive. There are 4 bedrooms and 5 FULL bathrooms! The house is modern and furnished nicely and has a fully stocked large kitchen. Well lit throughout, and plenty of natural light during the day. Games, ping pong table, slide, pool table, etc. means lots of fun for the whole family. There is so much space for everyone to be together, or to spread out and have some privacy as well. About 25 minutes drive to the West Yellowstone entrance of Yellowstone National Park. Restaurant, small market, and gas station very close by. Highly recommend.

Perfect family get-away
We loved it! Enough room to have your own space, but also be together. We had 4 families stay in this cabin comfortably. Kids loved the play area. The hot tub, pool table, ping pong and firepit were awesome! They also had plenty of board games to play. We would stay here again if we are in the area in the future.

Amazing customer service
This house is just as described. It was open, spacious, and a perfect place for our group of 3 adult couples. The main rooms were big enough for us to be together, and the house was big enough that we could have time apart. The entire house was well stocked including the small touches like lotion and Q-tips in every bathroom. I initially had a few questions for the manager and his response was always very timely. The owner (Richard) and manager (Tyler) were extremely accommodating and went out of their way to make sure our stay was wonderful! When a problem arose on the second day of our stay, Tyler quickly responded and did everything to remedy the situation. I cannot say enough about them and will, indeed, stay in one of their properties the next time we venture to that area! You will not be disappointed with the customer service or the amenities at this lovely house that is conveniently located close to Yellowstone, the river, and stunning scenery. You will surely be amazed!

Loved Ethel’s Cabin
We had 10 people and we had plenty of space and bathrooms for getting ready. We did Yellowstone as a family and loved the closeness to the West Entrance. After long days in the park, we would play games upstairs in the Game Room. We also made s’mores outside in the fire pit one night. The kitchen had every thing we needed and more! We did Walmart grocery pickup in Rexburg on our way to the cabin. We highly recommend this cabin!

Just had wonderful time in this cabin...its spacious and has everything one could need... lot of games, fire pit, pool table, table tennis etc. very clean kitchen which is loaded with lot of miscellaneous supplies..,all other rooms and restroom were nice! Aunt Ethel’s Cabin
This cabin is beautiful. It is close to the west entrance to Yellowstone. And it is great for entertaining the kiddos. My four grandchildren played pool, tried many of the games there, went up and down the indoor slide, tried out the hot tub and roasted marshmallows in the fire pit. They were happy and that made all of us happy! We had a great time!
