Enjoy on-site restaurants such as a Mediterranean bistro and a pizzeria, a coffee shop and café, while the Town Center hosts events, activities, and live music in peak season and on holiday weekends.
MAIN LIVING SPACE: The first floor features an open-concept living room, dining room, and kitchen area with the beachiest of interiors. Whitewashed shiplap and a pair of sunny, yellow chairs join a comfy sofa and bright blue accents for a truly relaxing living room. On the second floor, a kid’s bedroom sleeps six with three, darling twin beds and trundles, and bean bags and an area to play board games make finish out the space. In addition, a king bedroom features darling painted furniture and fun, sea-inspired accents, and it has private access to the balcony. An amazing Citron-painted, rattan, king-size bed with nautical, blue-and-white bedding is a standout feature in the fourth bedroom.

Anchors Away is a non-pet friendly property, and there are no exceptions. If a pet is seen entering Anchors Away the homeowner and/or Cinnamon Shore Vacation Rentals has the right to immediately evict the renter with no refunds, regardless of time of day or night.
There will be an automatic non-refundable penalty fee of $1000 added to the reservation if a pet is seen entering the property. If the pet does not leave the property immediately, at the date of the violation, there will be an additional $300 daily charge applied to the renter until eviction. It is up to the contract signee to disperse the pet policy to all persons staying in the home. If a renter's "guests" violate this policy it is assumed they are aware of the policy and the fee will be assessed. The Renter may also be liable for any additional charges related to cleaning fees and/or damage in the home.

We recently stayed here for Easter weekend with our boys and both sets of grandparents. The weather was great and we were right in front of Stillwater pool and could easily access multiple times a day.This house is also very close to the coffee shop and social circle. The house was well decorated and equipped with everything we needed. Great rental! Will recommend this place and hope to stay here in the future.

Super cute community! The house was as described and shown in the pictures. A couple issues with the house during the stay that were not resolved. Dining onsite does not accommodate large parties so prepare to cook or go off-site for meals. Staff was friendly but not great communication...didn't know when trash day was or that we needed to set out cans, ice maker broken and we had to find places to buy ice because no one followed up as we were told, leak in roof in bathroom. We did like the open spaces within the community and renting a golf cart is a MUST and we really enjoyed that!

We selected this property for the proximity of the pool. They shut down the pool the entirety of our stay to do ‘maintenance’. This was very disappointing and I wish they would have informed us of this prior to our stay. We also had small cockroaches in the kitchen and living area.

We loved our stay at Anchors Away. The kids enjoyed the toys in the upstairs game room and the sleeping area. The porches were amazing for morning coffee and evening drinks. The location was amazing within Cinnamon Shore itself. This was our favorite rental there so far.My only complaint was that there weren’t any k-cups or coffee available for guests.

We were disappointed there weren't more restaurants on the property especially since the silverware provided was only for 4 or less. Even tho' the house accommodates up to 10 or 12...we were a party of 7 with no eating utensils for our meals. The dishwasher did not dry the dishes so we had to manually dry pots, pans, and dishes before putting them back on the shelves. We had a photo shoot the first night and there are no full length mirrors anywhere in the house to help ensure we were ready for the photographer. It would also have been helpful to have labels on the multitude of light switches throughout the house. The mosquitoes were a huge surprise that we weren’t prepared for but managed to escape from most of them.The house layout and location were great. It was awesome to have a pool right outside the backdoor, an outside shower and rinse off hose to clean off some of the sand, and the hooks to hang towels outside were very nice features.Overall, we had a good time...thoroughly enjoyed the lawn games and the nearby fishing pier. We are considering a second visit but will pack paper goods and plastic ware so we can all dine together at the same time.Thank you for asking for feedback to better accommodate future guests.

Also convenient to the music and Dylan's Pizza! The house had plenty of cooking supplies but did not have one nonstick pan which made cooking a challenge. The amenities at CS are amazing and for the most part the CS staff were very friendly. My 2 yr old locked the powder bathroom on first day and my parents went to office for help and they did not have a good experience with staff at that time which was disappointing and an outlier for our usual pleasant experience with CS staff.

We were not able to fully enjoy our weekend or amenities (heated pool; beach bonfire; beach chairs) because they were cancelled. We also lost one night stay and our money because the roads were getting bad and we had to drive back to Houston. No refund was offered or given. Or credit towards another visit. So feeling cheated by no fault of our own.

Having the little pool right out front was so fun! My only suggestion would be to add a baking dish (we needed a something to bake brownies in but found nothing and were stuck with a bowl full of brownie batter lol) and the skillets and pots could use a good scouring. These were minor items that did not affect our vacation, overall we loved this house and are sure to return!

Floor and doors of location were filthy with coffee stains. We tried to reach the office multiple times for propane, chair rentals, etc. and no one ever called us back. I also tried texting. My husband had to go to the office for the propane and under covid circumstances, this was not ideal. Phone messages said high call volume but people at desk were not on the phone. We have been coming to CS for more than 5 years and this was the poorest service we have ever received.

Cinnamon Shores is the perfect place to stay. The chair rentals are great. The sand castle building lessons were also great. Our kids spent hours building in the sand. Golf carts are a must. The pools are good as well as the Cafe. We are actually going back in a week and returning with more families next summer.

This was our 4th summer to stay at CS & we LOVE the location & overall property grounds. We have always highly recommended CS to others. The staff has always been amazing & accommodating. It’s the best of the best for TX beaches. We have been extremely happy with every house we have stayed in, until this recent visit. Unfortunately this house fell way below our expectations. While we did voice our concerns to the staff, upon check out (since most of the problems were discovered throughout the stay and after our young children were settled!), we expected some kind of follow up or reassurance this was a one-time issue and wouldn't happen in future visits. We even emailed CS staff, again, but never received a response.
Upon arrival, there was a big bin of dirty flip flops & beach gear (assumingly left from previous guests) left on the front porch. The laundry room was filled with dirty linens & towels, which made us question whether the house had been properly cleaned before arrival. The floors were also sandy.
The bunk room was so cute, but the comforters were dingy & stained, with various food &, what appeared to be, dried blood. The living room couches were incredibly dirty. We had to lay blankets over them, because felt gross sitting on them. The king bed upstairs was broken underneath & resulted in backaches (which we realized as we were leaving & did a once-over under the bed). The kitchen was very basically stocked (compared to other homes in your development) & even had broken cabinets. Blinds were bent & broken throughout the house and there was a hole in the playroom wall.
Overall, it is important to maintain the standards of ALL the homes. For $700/night, this is all a disappointment.

This house is so cute and was perfect for our needs. My parents are disabled and can't do stairs so they stayed downstairs. The bed is a little high, my mom is short so she had to have a stool to get on it. The upstairs was great. My girls loved the big room with beds and we could have brought friends for them there was so much space. My husband and I had a king sized bed and my sister had a queen. It was cute and comfortable. We loved all the balcony spaces, especially the swing. I wish there were TVs in all the rooms, at least the downstairs master. We all had to watch FOX news because my dad didn't have a TV in their room. We loved that there was a small pool right out front too. It was the perfect place for a quick dip. Overall it was a wonderful house and a super fun place to stay.
