The island is beautiful. The food was delicious. We loved the welcome to the island (complimentary coconut water) and the brief orientation. Very relaxing atmosphere.
We were rudely rejected by the yoga instructor for showing up to her yoga class at the time written on the board in the reception. Apparently, the yoga class had started an hour earlier, and the board was not updated. We were told to go ahead and enter the class by another member of staff, but when we did, we were rudely gestured to shoo away in the most disrespectful manner. It ruined our experience as we were really looking forward to it, had booked it, and arrived ahead of time that was communicated to us.

Drift Darocotan Resort is a peaceful retreat for meditation and disconnection, allowing you to bring your true self out. With no internet access on-site, guests can truly disconnect and immerse themselves in the serene atmosphere. In case of emergencies, internet access is available just a five-minute walk away on the other side of the island with a local SIM card or roaming, providing convenience without compromising the tranquil setting of the resort. The friendly staff, delicious food, and peaceful surroundings make the perfect place to unwind and recharge.
Distance to the shared toilet for some of the Shallehs

The camp and the island are gorgeous, food and cocktails are delicious and the huts and restaurant structure are something else!
I really liked how the menu changes everyday, so you don't know what is going to be served that day.
I loved the beach, walking to the other side of the island, snorkeling at the shipwreck, being barefoot all the time. I loved everything!
I'm really, really sorry that we stayed only one night.

The private beach is beautiful with crystal clear water, perfect for a snorkel and so so peaceful. The rooms are also super comfy and clean, and the view of the beach from your bed is amazing. The food is EXCELLENT - honestly made the rest of my trip hard to compare!
Nothing really! There’s no wifi/phone signal and going to the loo in the middle of the night is a bit rustic, but that’s part of being off the grid and switching off 😊

Simply paradise. The beach is stunning and feels like a deserted island, the water is so blue and sand so white. The food here is absolutely amazing, real quality food and good portions. The cocktails too were very good!! Staff were very helpful and polite.
We would definitely go back, it really is paradise
We loved the shells everywhere that are left (not to be taken off island). We snorkelled and read a lot during our stay, bliss.
We didn't mind at all, but the toilets and showers are shared and you really feel like you are camping - flushing and shower did not always work, the huts are open to the elements so you have a mosquito net and they can get hot at night even with a fan. No signal on the island too, completely cut off from the world but do not let this put you off, it's just good to know before hand.

Super nice hotel, location and views are amazing
Just the Food take around 45 min but at the end was really good!

It is the most beautiful place we have ever been, the pictures don’t even do it justice. A perfect place to unwind and chillax , we loved the no wifi element. They have great games.
Overall the entire experience was very expensive. Between the costly transfers to and from the island (not included), the food was overpriced , the yoga classes and massages were expensive. The showers don’t work properly and it is sea water and the toilets don’t flush properly. In saying this we did love our time on the island as it is beautiful but it was too overpriced in my opinion. The staff don’t approach you , you must approach them first if you want anything. A few more areas with shade (umbrella for the beach/ sun bed) would be brilliant as it was too hot for us outside in the sun and we ended up sitting on our doorstep for the day as there was nothing for us to sit on the beach in the shade together.

The place is stunning! Starting from the unique vibes and style of facilities (in my case it was big The Hive Huts villa) and ending with a lovely beach area, restaurant and responsive staff. The fact that there are only guests on the territory of the resort, and this is a limited number of people, makes this place even more exclusive, where no one will disturb your rest. On the opposite side of the island is an incredible snorkeling spot - a shipwreck.
Pick-up, check-in and check-out - everything went very smoothly.
Dryft Darocotan is definitely a must stay during El Nido trip!

The staff was really friendly and the housing was great. The view from the room was directly to ocean and it was stunning. Very quiet place, fun people and picture perfect beaches. Also the food was top notch!!! We all recommend this journey for everyone!

Accoglienza super, struttura meravigliosa, ottima pulizia, camere spaziose, cucina incredibile!

Alba e tramonto stupendi

Gorgeous spot on the secluded Darocotan island. Good food, cocktails and friendly staff. Huts are decorated nicely and there is plenty to do!
My boyfriend lost his slippers, only to find out that one of the staff members took them and was wearing them while serving out breakfast. Bit awkward. Other than that everyone was very friendly.

Your room is opening to sea it is a great feeling. Food and beverages were great.
Toilets located only common area normally and they can stuck many times. And the second thing the nights are super quiet. At least early time around and after dinner can create some chill live music or activity.
4.6
Everything was perfection.
The staff, the food, the tranquility and so much more.
There is no phone signal so you really get a detox away from everything.
One of the most beautiful places we’ve visited.
Nothing

The staff (Faith) were amazing - we had an issue with our next booking and she went out of her way to help us find a solution, even though it wasn't their issue. Food was great - varied menus that were always tasty.
There was honestly nothing that we didn't like (although there could have been more hammocks, as these are a great place to hang out during the hot part of the day).
4.6

Everything, the beach hut was amazing with a top class view. The food was great, the vibe was so chilled and relaxing.
It’s a short walk to the bathroom which is inconvenient at night but it’s to be expected as the bathrooms are shared.

Excellent staff. Beautiful beach with lots of shady nooks. great food and private island feel.
we had to change huts as they are designed for a more lumber demographic and we had trouble getting in and out of it.
4.6
Location, the beach is clean, quiet, away from the tourists coming to the island for the shipwreck so it stays peaceful with no boats in the bay. The accommodation is beautiful, comfortable beds with 10/10 view
Toilet location isn’t convenient in the night
4.6
Amazing! Best relaxing experience ever. Cozy and clean. Started for 3 nights Which was Perfect. Food was great!
Good to know that flushing of the toilets does not work great every time. Also that there is sandflies on some parts of the beach, so stay in the hammock or look where you lie on the beach.
4.6
The staff was lovely, cleanliness of common space great, food delicious, location nice and quiet
It was not clear which drink was included in the breakfast
4.6
Staff were amazing and such a beautiful place
They had super strict set meal times which to me is a bit weird. Dinner was 7-9 but you didn’t get your food if you ordered at 7 until like 8 and lunch was 12-2 which is a long break between lunch and dinner and they had snack time but minimal choice in my opinion. Should have a menu and you order whatever you want whenever you want !

Located in an amazing place. Beautiful beach and we loved the central dining and hangout area where everyone ate meals and chilled out. Play a board game, paddle board, swim, snorkel, volleyball, badminton- or chill in a hammock- it was fantastic. The food was excellent and we had great weather whilst there. Liked the rustic and back to nature feel of the whole place, and the staff were all very friendly and helpful. There is an old shipwrecked boat you can snorkel to on the other side of the island.
Nothing. Do take mosquito protection for a stay here.

Unforgettable experience! Stunning, tranquil location, delicious food and beautiful, unique rooms.
Nothing 😊

Friendliest staffs, clean facilities, delicious food, peaceful and quiet. I like pretty much all of it.
A pool would be nice to have.
