Sehr freundlicher und unterstützender Empfang, kein Urlaubsresort, aber funktional und bequem!

Der Empfang war sehr persönlich und sehr herzlich! Man sollte sich aber vorher die Nummer von Paul aufschreiben, um anrufen zu können und reingelassen zu werden. Die Rezeption war nicht durchgehend besetzt. Der Empfang von Paul war sehr herzlich, familiär und freundlich! Paul war sehr hilfsbereit und hat unseren schweren Koffer zu unserem Zimmer hochgetragen. Wir haben zur Begrüßung einen Obstteller bekommen und auch 2 Wasserflaschen. Paul war aufmerksam und immer bemüht, zu fragen, ob wir noch etwas brauchen. Check-In und Check-Out unproblematisch, auch beim Check-Out hat Paul wieder tragen geholfen. Vielen Dank an Paul!! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Die Betten waren sehr hochwertig und mega bequem!! Klimaanlage funktionierte, Fernseher auch. Direkt 2 Gehminuten vom Hotel aus war ein sehr großer Supermarkt und ein großes Café/ Restaurant, in dem man günstig essen konnte, und zum großen Teil auch schmackhaft. Wir waren dort Abend essen und Frühstücken, das Frühstück hat uns restlos überzeugt, das Abendessen naja. Abends waren es die schlechtesten Pommes, die wir je gegessen haben, zum Frühstücks-Omelette waren die Pommes dann wieder gut. Scheinbar muss man Glück mit dem Koch haben.

Der Ort ist sehr abgelegen und die Umgebung (Blick auf Baustelle) wirklich nicht malerisch. Es ist aber auch kein Urlaubshotel, sondern ein Studentenwohnheim. Allerdings haben wir von Studenten nichts gemerkt, die waren sicher alle in den Semesterferien. Die Zimmer wirkten aber nicht wie ein Studentenwohnheim, sondern von den Möbeln her grundsätzlich schon hochwertig wie in einem Hotel. Nur die Umgebung hatte eben gar nichts zu bieten, das war uns aber nicht wichtig, wir brauchten nur eine Übernachtung, und dafür war es funktional, da auch die Betten einfach super bequem waren. Es gab zwar eine Küchenzeile, aber keine Töpfe zum Kochen, aber aus anderen Rezensionen schließe ich, dass es grundsätzlich welche gibt. Hätten wir drum gebeten, hätte Paul uns auch sicher sofort welche gebracht. Insgesamt war das Zimmer für unsere Ansprüche sauber genug, heraus stach nur die unschöne, mit einer dicken Kalkschicht überzogene Armatur im Bad-Waschbecken. Ein bisschen Zitronensäure und ich bin sicher, das wäre wieder sehr schön geworden! Ich habe auch drüber nachgedacht, im Supermarkt welche zu kaufen und selbst Hand anzulegen, aber wollte dann das Geld nicht ausgeben. Zu guter Letzt: Wie oft üblich in diesen Ländern sollte man nicht zu zimperlich sein, was die lieben Insekten mit K... angeht. Wir haben insgesamt 2 gesehen, das aber nur abends, tagsüber hatten die sich verkrochen. Aber wenn man eine sehr große Phobie vor denen hat, ist man in diesen Ländern sowieso an der falschen Urlaubsadresse!

The place was in a really good and comfortable area. Close to the stadium and cultural events park. Close to big store and a coffee and restaurant. The room was great.
