Relaxing peaceful great for a revitalising break.

Friendly and very helpful .the property is by the quieter end of Varkala is very peaceful and relaxing yet close to restaurants and the beach.

Really comfy, affordable and friendly.

Super close to the cliff, about a 2 min walk from Soul & Surf - where there’s yoga, surf and food. Comfy rooms, we had a side entrance room with AC that was cool during the heat of the day.

Нет никакого чувства гостиницы, внутри очень домашняя атмосфера, как будто приехал в семью) Очень чисто, аккуратный дворик, теплая вода, милая терраса и романтическая крыша с фонариками. До пляжа - рукой подать, рядом есть домашняя столовая и небольшие магазинчики

Perfect budget room if you want to stay in Varkala for longer

we loved the location close to the South Cliffs of Varkala! The host was super nice and helpful (e.g., money exchange, providing breakfast, giving hints) The room with a small balcony was clean and chill

AC is not included in the rate of every room Water supply of the shower didn’t flow properly sometimes

totally disappointed in that resort.

the property is good but owner is not good. not behaves proper way.

he’s not allowing outside food to eat inside the room itself. but he and his friends will drink the resort inside. he’s not arrange proper facilities.

A very recommendable budget option!

Simple but clean budget option for anyone looking for a quiet relaxing time in Varkala, whilst still being close to everything. The guesthouse is in a quiet backstreet right behind „Soul & Surf“/South Cliff Taxi Stand. The beach is 5 mins away, if you want to swim, north cliff with many restaurants just north of the beach, and temple junction is also close by if youre looking for supermarkets or more authentic Indian restaurants. South Cliff beach also is less busy for anyone trying to get away from the crows more and also has its own sea-view clifftop restaurants and cafes (Sarwaa, Soul & Surf etc). There are also a handful of Yoga schools in the streets surrounding the Guesthouse. The owners are very friendly and helpful. You can do laundry & have breakfast as well (Indian or Western, both very delicious). On top of that youll be blessed with a very friendly, quiet, and peaceful dog called Tommy :) Can only recommend!

One of the three mosquito nets at the window was a bit broken, but you can just leave that window closed and if you still feel uncomfortable, use the mosquito net above the bed. I didnt have any problems with mosquitos though.

Lovely owners, really helpful and friendly. The villa is about 10 minutes walk from the main part of the city with shops and restaurants. The room and the bathroom were clean.

The mattress was quite hard and the shower water pressure was very weak.

A nice spot to stay

Friendly staff, clean comfortable room, nice quiet location a little away from the busy part of the main beach. You can get access to a more private part of the beach directly via the stairs of restaurant across the street.

Had a great time here!!!!

Binu was very much friendly, accepted and organized our requests and made our stay more comfortable. We requested for breakfast and lunch during our stay and they provided us delicious meals. We took our 9 month old infant with us and it never felt like we were staying in a different place, it just felt like home. Sea shore restaurant is just a minute walk from here, where we enjoyed a relaxing 180° beach view and experienced the soothing sound of waves away from all the public. The place is also very close to the South cliff beach. But, you must have a strong legs if you plan to have a walk to the beach. Overall, the place was beyond our expectations and we thank them for making our stay peaceful. Definitely will recommend other to visit here.

Binu the owner of the property is one of the best host I met till date. He is way beyond helpful. The property is at perfect place really 2 minutes from beach. Super clean rooms and bathroom. Even you will get kitchen area to make your own tea if needed that was bonus for me. Binu helped to get scotty at cheaper rate and he lend his own bike for few hours to roam around as well. Also, we checked out however he he allowed to use the common bathroom and keep the luggage and called auto driver at night to drop till station. Words are less for Binu. Great man !!

Ok rooms with good breakfast on more quite (no services) south cliff. Do not do laundry here.

Room, bed and bathroom was comfortable. Nice common balcony to hangout / read book / have breakfast. Breakfast was good and everyday something different which was really nice. Wifi worked good in balcony (not in our room). Place was kept clean all the time. I cannot say anything about kitchen, because we did not use it. If you like to stay in quite place, this was good. Some treatments and yogas available close by.

Location was not best for us even it is close to beach and restauraunts there (it is on top of the cliff with no seaview). This is on south cliff where is no restauraunts (only soul & surf next door). North cliff is not too far away with lot of services available, but during hot days it was an effort to walk down to beach and up to north cliff. Would enjoyed more staying there or down on the beach road. Laundry service was robbery. I heard manager saying 35 per kilo which is not bad though it's more than launderies in Varkala generally. Instead he had said to me 35 per peace. So instead of paying 100 rupiah of laundry I end up paying 1000 rupiah. Most expensive laundry in our 1 year trip around the world. My mistake to hear wrong, but would never paid this price if heard right.
