This home is a 1950s rambler lovingly remodeled by the hosts with modern style and amenities. The house is filled with art by local Las Vegans and little touches artfully arranged to make you feel at home in the Mojave. Sun-filled rooms and bright colors make this clean, inviting space the perfect spot to get away to or get some work done.

There are three bedrooms (all with their own flat screen TVs) in the same wing of the house.
1 queen with an adjacent bathroom that faces the back and side yards.
1 double bed with a built-in desk and office chair, that faces the side yard
1 queen with an adjacent bathroom that faces the front and side yards.

The Living Rooms / Common Areas
Main living room is a large comfortable space with a large flat-screen TV, DVD player, Netflix, and 30+ regular TV channels. Hand-painted herringbone accent wall and signature art make the living room one of our favorite rooms in the house.

The second living area is a large sun room with a comfy sofa, armchairs, bar area, fireplace, and view of the lush backyard, pool, and spa.

Den & Dining Area
There's a small den adjoining the dining room that's perfect for reading or socializing.

The Kitchen
Has been recently renovated, with a breakfast nook and all new and necessary appliances (fridge, oven, electric stovetop, dish washer, garbage disposal, double sink, toaster, microwave, venting hood, etc.).

The Best Room!
The back yard ... a relaxing oasis of palm trees, grass, shrubbery for privacy, a shaded patio, and pool. Here, you can dine al fresco at the patio table and chairs provided, lounge on a chaise, or sun bathe on one of the pool's champagne shelves.

Please Note: Our home is managed and cared for by, a local VRBO/Vacation Rental Management team. They require you to book a time to be checked-in, and their team will be able to assist you throughout your stay

Please know we are looking forward to your stay and want to provide a comfortable and enjoyable service! Rules are for guest safety as much as for the longevity of the property, so please take the time to read before requesting to book. Once your reservation is confirmed, everything listed below is enforced. If you're communicative with us from the start, you shouldn't have any problems. However, if you've:

A. omitted important details or
B. need to make a change to your upcoming stay

check this area for the information before calling or messaging us. We have a moderately strict cancellation policy, so please make sure your dates and group size are accurate when you request to book.

No smoking. No pets. No parties.
You will be charged $300 if found with pets or there is evidence of indoor smoking. This home is in a neighborhood with nearby neighbors who have small children. You may smoke cigarettes on the back patio using the provided ash tray, but please refrain from smoking marijuana on the property out of respect for our neighbors. In addition to a strict no-party policy, we ask that you lower the volume outside after 10 p.m. and quiet any extremely loud indoor noise after 10 p.m.

Tax
Please note this is a legal VRBO listing, so your bill will reflect a 13% occupancy tax paid to the City of Las Vegas.

Cleaning Fee
Please be aware that leaving the property excessively dirty will lead to additional fees. Our housekeeping staff determines what constitutes excessively dirty. Rest assured, they do this fairly.

Dishes
Please wash your dishes! If you plan to be untidy, an additional fee of $25 for housekeeping services will be charged. (Please mention this in advance, or we'll have to take it out of your deposit.)

Noise Curfew
There is a strict 10 p.m. outdoor noise curfew and a policy against outdoor speakers. Please respect this or risk cancellation.

Additional Guests
Additional guests who join the reservation after you have an accepted booking are $55 per person per night if your request is made more than 7 days from that start of your reservation. If you ask within the last 7 days the cost is $75 per night per person due to the changes housekeeping will require. Honesty is the best policy! If you are observed “sneaking people in," you will be charged $110 per person per night on your reservation. (For example: If an additional person is found staying for one night, but you're staying 4 nights you will be charged $400.)

Visitors During Your Stay
If you'd like to have a few friends or business colleagues over during your stay, please let us know about this in advance. We restrict the number of visitors to two at any time unless we have a prearranged agreement. We also ask that any visitors leave the premises by midnight at the latest and observe the noise curfew for the neighborhood. We will assume that any visitors staying past midnight are unregistered guests, and you will be charged accordingly.

If guests have misrepresented themselves during the pre-booking process, we reserve the right to cancel the booking and/or retain the security deposit.

Photography and Videography
Under no circumstances will we allow the property to be used for any sort of formal or professional photography or for a videography shoot. Any violators will be asked to leave immediately and have their booking canceled.

Keys
$270 will be charged if lost due to the fact that we re-key the entire home when guests lose the keys.

Pool
The pool is accessible year-round (to any guest); however, it is not heated and can be chilly during the winter. THERE IS NO RUNNING OR HORSEPLAY ALLOWED AROUND THE POOL. NO GLASS IS PERMITTED ON THE REAR PATIO NEAR THE POOL. If you have glass bottles, you must pour their contents into a plastic cup (available in the kitchen) before going outdoors. If broken glass is found on the patio, a fine of $250 may be charged. Please familiarize yourself with the pool safety equipment. SWIM AT YOUR OWN RISK.

Swim shoes are recommended for the pool's bottom in case of rough stucco. Be aware that the deep-end of the pool is very deep, so take extra precaution when drinking alcohol and/or with any minors who may not be strong swimmers.

Barbecue
We have a charcoal grill that you're welcome to use during your stay. Please use the ash bin provided next to the grill and refraining from dumping leftover coals anywhere else. Note the location of the fire extinguisher (under the sink) in case of an emergency.

Booking with Children
Children are welcome, but please be mindful of them, particularly near the pool.

Check-in
Communication is key! If you wait until your day-of-arrival to inform us of arrival plans, we might not be able to meet you at the time you need. It's essential that you tell us in advance. Please know that our check-in time is flexible. However, if you're going to be in after midnight, we need to know this at least 24 hours in advance.

Security
Instructions about security operations will be given onsite at check-in. To avoid any problems, pay attention when instructions are given and refer to the handbook. Be sure that all doors and windows are locked when leaving the property for any duration of time. Additionally, please close street-facing drapes when departing for the evening. Please be aware the entire property has exterior surveillance cameras in use, which capture audio and video. The location and views of these devices are 1) back yard, 2) front door, and 3) driveway. These cameras are recording during all reservations and may be reviewed by hosts or management. There are no devices recording audio or video within the interior of the home. Guests observed violating any of the rules stated may have their reservations immediately terminated. Disabling these devices will also result in the termination of a reservation. We understand that this may be a concern for many people, so please know that we are not extensively monitoring you. These measures are specifically for the security of our guests and neighbors. If you'd like additional information about our security cameras, please feel free to ask. We are happy to show you a screenshot of the areas on the camera.

Broken and Missing Items / Property Damage
Guests will be charged for any broken or missing items or property damage. Assessment/inventory is always conducted after each guest's stay.

Heating / Cooling
The thermostat is set to optimal temperatures for the time of year. You're welcome to adjust as needed, but auto settings will be reverted to periodically.

Laundry
There is no washer or dryer normally available to guests, because it’s located in our owner’s and housekeeping closet. Laundry can be arranged for a fee while onsite. Just inquire with us about the details.

Shipping
We do not allow shipping packages to the house.

Agreement
Upon check-in guests will be asked to provide ID and sign an agreement to the effect that they will abide by the rules outlined above. To be emailed a copy of this agreement in advance, please ask in your request to book.

Loved this location, as it was close enough to the strip for an easy drive in the mornings for our conference at Mandalay Bay. The house is a charmer, the pool was a huge hit with the kids and provided everything we needed for a rental. Would recommend to anyone looking for a laid back Vegas experience.

The house was a really neat vintage theme! It was clean and worked perfectly for my family. Everywhere we went was only 5-15 minutes away. It is a great location! We stayed during August, so it was really nice to have the pool, and to ourselves, unlike hotels! I would definitely stay here again.

Definitely would come back! Hosts were very prompt with questions/communication! We were able to get early check in. House was very convenient to the strip. Ubers were always 2 minutes away. Pool was perfect temperature. We did run into a minor problem with sharing a key with the other couple while we went to a show and the other went to dinner, coming back to the house we had to wait for our friends outside. But like I said minor problem 😊

We loved our stay at the Vintage Gem! It was like home away from home for us. It was SO VERY clean! We appreciate that tremendously, as that’s the most important quality when we travel. Easy check-in with the host. Very accommodating and easy to get a hold of with questions. The house is a super cool vintage home with all the needed amenities for your stay. Plenty of room to spread out. Very clean and comfortable. Great backyard with a nice sized pool, shaded patio and plenty of lounge furniture. I’ve stay in a lot of homes and this was one of the best for my family. I would highly recommend. If you want to be close to the strip but without the noise, traffic and craziness involved with the resorts this is a great choice for a little relaxation during your Vegas trip.
