A welcome haven after a horrendous flight into Edinburgh.

Close proximity to the airport. Warm welcome, although we arrived late due to delayed flight. The room was very comfortable. The decor is lovely and quirky. Although there was a shortage of morning staff, they were very obliging and attentive.

We arrived late, and it would have been nice to have the opportunity of a glass of wine to unwind before going to bed. We had had a horrendous journey. The staff on duty were nice but informed us that the bar was closed. More milk for the tea and coffee facilities.

Perfect stay for early flights

The Check-in and the bar Area is very cool! The room is perfect and clean, is a perfect choice for one night if you have an early flight! Kind people and just 9 minutes to go to the airport on foot.

Excellent experience

Everything, 8 min walk from airport. Bus stop outside into Edinburgh or back to airport for tram. Welcomed by staff on arrival and the room was immaculate. Tea and coffee in the room. Even ordering a taxi from moxy was easy

ok für eine Nacht, mehr nicht.

Standort, sauberes Zimmer, bequemes Bett.

Türe hat zum teil nicht richtig abgeschlossen. Zu lange Wartezeiten beim Abendessen, Preis- Leistung stimmt da nicht. Fancy Konzept, was aber irgendwie komisch rüberkommt.

Great overnight stay. Staff interaction was excellent. If anyone is flying to or from Edinburgh, then the Moxy is the place to stay.

Satisfied the criteria I needed before my early morning flight

Proximity to the Airport, bus stop right outside the hotel

Some of the evening meal menu was unavailable when I had my meal in the early evening

Too expensive for what you get.

Didn’t have b’fast had to leave too early for our flight. Loud music in bar area not pleasant. Was very convenient for airport departures.

Far too expensive for the quality of the stay. £386 for 2 people in a twin bedded room and they charge another £10 per night for overnight parking.

Zimmer waren sehr ruhig, trotz Flughafenhotel und alles sauber und schick

Das Personal it langsam und nicht wirklich freundlich, allerdings habe ich das in Schottland leider mehrfach erlebt. Essen im Restaurant war zu trocken. (Burger) Pommes noch nicht ganz drch

Pretty average. Scotland’s capital could afford better.

Location ideal. Bar area contemporary design. Bed comfortable. Good pillows.

Staff appeared distracted with themselves. Large spiders seen on curtains in bar area. Broken shower head holder and soap dispenser unusable.

Great location, comfy bed & easy check in

Me and a friend came downstairs for food after kitchen closed - we were told we can pick from selection of things such as toastiest etc which was fine. We stood at the reception to pay and have the toastie toasted there were 3 members of staff in reception and no one looked up or acknowledged us but knew we were there as I already spoke to them about the food, We were there for a while until I eventually had to ask to pay, we were then taken to pay and staff member was very blunt. I was then asked if I wanted to tip which I stated no.

First time stay

Room was very nice and clean. Hotel in general looked cool. Short stay so wasn't able to try out their facilities.

Availablity of staff at front desk. 2 out of 3 times I attended the desk, no one was there and had to wait ages for someone to randomly show up. Also tried called the hotel telephone number prior to check in twice, but no one answered. No opportunity for early check in, meaning that after arriving on a early flight, had wait around in airport until the 3pm check in time. No point giving your estimated arrival time as they won't accommodate this.

Nice place, great location.

Location and cleanliness

Breakfast was poor, particularly the cooked items. No glasses, hot drinks machine not topped up. The member of staff at checkin was very outspoken about his political views, on the verge of being offensive.

You had to sign up before we could check in an hr early and as soon as we did we were allowed which was strange as if we didn’t we would have just waited an hr even when our room was ready The bed fitted sheet had a blood stain on it but didn’t say anything as it wasn’t spotted until later and we had a very early check out and just wanted to go to sleep

Beautiful rooms, friendly staff, perfect location

Location is a perfect walking distance to the airport. The staff we really friendly and the room was beautiful! I have stayed at the Glasgow Moxy and loved them both.

Convenient location, very quiet room, no noise from outside at all. Great facilities

Couldn’t work the thermostat. Was 25 degrees all night and was toasty! In fact a little too toasty. Was like a sauna by 5am

Location to the airport.

Staff seemed disinterested. Our room was on the first floor and there was an incessant beat from the music below. The room was stifling and the heater control never functioned correctly to reduce the temperature.
