We enjoyed our stay The Gables! The property is beautiful and very spacious. We had a slight issue when we got in, but the owners were quick to respond and went above and beyond to fix the issue. Our family enjoyed time here and it was surely a vacation to remember.

We were in town for my daughter’s wedding. This house was only a few minutes away from the venue. The house fit our needs completely! We had 16 people in our group and everyone had their own space. Which we found to be a positive on this rental. The space had plenty of bedrooms/bathrooms for all. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

This was our second year at this house and it was perfect for our family once again. Our contacts with the owner were met promptly and exceeded our expectations. We all hope to return next year. The location is great for all sorts of outdoor activities.

Stayed over 4th of July weekend and had a great time! Plenty of space for multiple families/kids. Screened in porch and outdoor firepit were excellent. Not super close to Asheville but a nice secluded area.

Our family of 10 adults just spent an extended weekend in The Gables House and we loved it. Communication with Jason was prompt and easy.The house is just as pictured, nicely appointed with plenty of space for everyone to comfortably gather (or not). Eating together is a big deal for us, and we appreciated that both the inside and outside dining tables could seat all 10 together. Every morning we enjoyed our breakfast in the screened in porch, listening to birds and donkeys (I think) in the distance. We made s'mores in the fire pit and watched all the fireflies in dancing in the huge yard. It's peaceful and private, but still close enough to everything like hiking trails, white water rafting and exploring Asheville. We would definitely book The Gables again.

We loved our stay here! We were married on the property, joined by our family and friends. This home is beautiful, and was just what we needed to celebrate our special day! We celebrated our daughter’s wedding with family and friends in a small ceremony. Everything was perfect! We loved the house and had plenty of room for 13 people. The house was spacious and the kitchen had plenty of dishes and utensils for cooking meals. Jason was very quick to respond to any questions we had. We would highly recommend it and stay there again!

This is a great location for exploring Asheville and the the nearby hiking trails. The house was clean and spacious for our group of 10 adults (2 families/2 generations). The extra refrigerator in the garage was a bonus!

We had a group of 15 family members. Home was very roomy and comfortable. Several porches, multiple fireplaces, fire pit and a dining room fitting entire family. Bedrooms very comfortable. Nice views. Close to Asheville, Biltmore, hiking and fun restaurants. Very pleased with this property.

With a large family including babies and toddlers, this home worked beautifully. There is so much room to spread out, yet plenty of common space when you want to be all together. We especially loved the decks and playing in the sideyard. S'mores in the firepit were enjoyed by all with ample seating for many to enjoy at the same time. We loved the big pantry and beautiful kitchen as well. Shopping is close by, as are wonderful drives and hikes.This was truly an exceptional stay.

The house was spacious, loved the gas fireplace on the porch. The mattresses are maybe the most comfortable we have ever slept on. The sheets and pillows were top quality too.

The Gables was the perfect lodging for our sons wedding. Location was convenient to the venue, Weaverville and I-26. The home was spacious and well appointed. Especially enjoyed the screened porch with fireplace and gas logs. Highly recommend this property for large family gatherings. Plenty of parking. Management was responsive and easy to work with. Would definitely stay at this property again.

Perfect vacation for family and friends. Location was great for traveling around Asheville yet still having privacy and quiet evenings. Loved the screened in porch! The beds were comfortable, house was clean and the owner was quick to answer any questions or concerns. Highly recommend this place!

Beautiful home - plenty of comfortable gathering spaces for our family of 16, ages 12 to 80. Easy directions and check in - perfect deck to enjoy the cool evening and morning air! And only 10 minutes from Navitat - a MUST DO zip line experience everyone loved! Thanks for wonderful memories!

Wow! This place was awesome! 7 bedrooms, 6 of which had atached bathrooms. I can't say enough good things about this rental. Level of cleanliness exceeded my expectations. I called about 1 issue and the maintenance person was there within the hour. Nicely stocked with pots and pans. Tables galore. I would definitely stay here again.

This is a great property for our family. Very spacious and the screen porch was a favorite hangout for all. Great kitchen for multiple cooks but could use some upgrade with pots and pans and drawers could use cleaning. Extra kitchen towels would be nice as would bath and hand towels. Starter supplies for the house were very adequate. Very noisy in downstairs master because it is right under the kitchen. Location is great with many places to visit. Much, much fun was had in the yard! Whoever cleans the house needs to address the ceiling fans(very dirty) and the screen porch (spider webs, dirty bandaid and dog hair). We are hoping these things will be considered as we have rented for next year- we liked it that much!!

The house and location exceeded our expectations. The kitchen was very well stocked. The area is quiet at night. Close enough to go into Asheville. We spent many happy hours on the screened porch and the open deck. The kids loved the area next to the firepit - we made Smores one night. We'll be back - told our kids we want to celebrate our 50th Anniversary there.

We enjoyed this property immensely. 13 of us stayed four nights but also hosted an 80th bday party with 20. So much space inside and outside to satisfy all needs. Great view of the mountains.
Caution to folks sleeping downstairs. You can hear everything from footsteps and sliding chairs. Helpful to all be on same sleep schedule.

Wonderful Home, very clean, well laid out bedrooms for our family of 17 everyone had their own bed. We did not use the Inflatable beds. Living spaces allowed for teen area and adult areas. Kitchen had 2ovens and oversized stove. Only drawback, kitchen cooking supplies could use and update. Loved the outdoor screen porch and the fire pit. Overall the home is one of the best we have stayed at.

The Gables Asheville was a wonderful place to celebrate an elopement with a group of friends. Several bedrooms spread between the three levels allowed everyone to have their own space with large communal areas for socializing. Secluded away from other houses in the area while still being a reasonable drive to Asheville.

We booked this place for an extended weekend with our families for our wedding. It was so perfect! There was plenty of space for everyone to spread out. Plenty of chairs and table space for meals. Wonderful outside areas to hangout. All the beds were so comfy and the bathrooms were spacious. The listing matched the house exactly. We had everything we could need and anything not provided was obviously listed so that we could prepare. I would highly recommend this location for big groups who want a pretty, quiet location near Asheville! The owner was extremely easy to get ahold of and very helpful and kind as well!

This property is great for a large group. Ours was a sibling reunion with spouses, and the Gables gave us the space and amenities we needed for meals together as well as time apart for privacy. The surrounding property is beautiful, and we enjoyed many of the pleasures of the area, hiking, drives, restaurants, etc. One MINOR maintenance issue on day 1 that the owner handled immediately, for which we were greatly appreciative.

Clean, modern, and well appointed (plenty of furniture, lots of linens, dishes/kitchenwares, TVs in every room). A bit far for regular travel back and forth to downtown Asheville (20 minutes). Much more convenient for going into the mountains. Property manager/owner was super responsive and helpful (nothing major). Only issue: the king mattress upstairs was quite uncomfortable (memory foam seemed shot -- not a huge issue for us given the number of other beds). Definitely not enough to bring this down to a 4-star property, but if I could I'd give it a 4.75 overall.

The house was fantastic! Plenty of beddrooms, closets, and space. The kitchen was well stocked, especially for larger groups. The one small thing that I wished it had was a second bathroom on the second floor, but it was definitely not a deal breaker. If you have a large family or group, I highly recommend this property!

This was the perfect property for us to gather our family for the holidays. There was plenty of gathering space and alone space when needed too. We enjoyed all the area had to offer. The younger ones were sad there was no snow but the rest of us would have been sad if there was.

My family spent Thanksgiving in this beautiful home, I would give it more than 5 stars if I could. The drive up was easy, we stopped by Blue Mountain pizza for dinner on our way to the house, a must try, delicious pizza, also their homemade ice cream is to die for! The kitchen is spacious enough for multiple cooks, us ladies looked forward to cooking in it each day. The double ovens were great for Thanksgiving, and the extra refrigerator was a nice bonus! This home is cozy, clean, nicely decorated, well kept with very comfortable beds.
We made some great memories, we went snow tubing and took pictures by the waterfall in the local park. We enjoyed smores by the firepit. (There was a bobcat sighting)
I have one con, the pots for cooking in the high end home is terrible, I read that was the case in another review, so we brought some of our own. We always leave something in each home we rent, we bought a few wine glasses because they were short (they get broken) .

We had our intimate wedding at this house and it was the PERFECT venue! Stunning views. Well decorated. Comfortable beds! Loved the fire pit and all the seating indoors. The deck and outdoor areas were wonderful. We also loved the jacuzzi. The bedrooms got a little warm, and some travel size toiletries would have been a nice touch — but this was something we also didn’t expect based on the Vrbo listing description. Don’t hesitate to book this space! Absolute perfection.
