About this house rental
Pretty charming house fully equipped in a beautiful flowered residence with a tennis court (rackets are provided), but above the most beautiful beach on the island facing the motus. The house is located in the gardens, the beach is a few dozen meters. Free wifi internet. Kayaks are provided for free and will allow you access to the motus for yourself or sites rays and sharks. The house has two bedrooms one with a king size bed (linens are provided) and another very large with a 1m60 bed and 1 single bed, a living room, a kitchen corner and there is a solar water heater. 1 bathroom, 1 large covered deck and private garden, ping pong. Large TV in the living room. Washer. There is also garden furniture and a gas grill. You can park your car right outside the house. Electricity is increasingly for more than 4 days stays. Ideally located, you can access on foot to restaurants, various locations (bicycle, scooter, cars ...), shopping center and all tourist activities. Otherwise providers will direct you up at your home, transfer / taxi available on request. Departure for water sports directly from the beach to the residence. For those who love the mountains we are 10 min drive to the volcano crater to the center where all the plantations are located, walks and historical sites. The house is adjacent to the owners.

I travel solo with a child (now 10). This was our fifth visit to the area and the first stay at this house. We really liked it! Highlights: the proximity to the beach, kayaks offered for free, the gorgeous porch. The washing machine and the fully-equipped kitchen were equally important. Wi-fi, according to my kid, was the strongest we found on the island. Overall—a great stay!

Our stay was amazing! Caroline was very welcoming and made sure she told us about all of the good snorkeling spots when she greeted us. She was very organized and we received a list with food and hiking recommendations before the stay which was great for planning! The house was very clean and upgraded. Best part it was only a short paddle out to the spot to swim with sharks! Due to weather, our snorkeling excursion was canceled but we were able to check all of the items off of our bucket list right from the property! We also enjoyed spending time with Felix the cat! I highly recommend!

The house has everything you need for a stay in Moorea. We especially liked taking the kayaks out and exploring the different motus and sandbars. Caroline made everything easy from arranging a taxi to and from the ferry dock, as well as an affordable rate for a rental car. The property is located in a quiet and safe area. Highly recommend it and glad we stayed here versus a resort. Excellent snorkeling all around!

Great place to chill out! The house was immaculate! Very walkable to several restaurants and a small grocery store. Due to bad weather, we didn't get to use the kayaks or snorkel so i can't comment on that. Overall great place, I would recommend!

We stayed in Caroline’s bungalow for 7 nights. It was a great place to stay. She met us when we got there and showed us around. Rented a car from her which was ready when we arrived. We were picked up at the ferry and dropped off at the airport. Everything went smoothly. Loved the location. Walked down to the beach for sunset almost every night. Loved having access to the kayaks. Make sure you make a reservation and go to Cocoa Beach. Great spot for lunch! If you love to hike go to Magic Mountain and Belvédère lookout. Hike trail from there. I’d highly recommend renting from Caroline. Her place was clean and welcoming. Spent lots of time playing games on the patio. We appreciated her giving us some advice on restaurants, grocery stores and beaches. The location was perfect! Thanks for being a great host!!!

Being able to walk out the door and to a beautiful beach with snorkeling was ideal for us. The use of the kayaks was another huge perk! The lodging was perfect and we loved the beautiful veranda. We could not have asked for a better experience and we would love to come back.

There isn’t enough time or space here to convey how wonderful our trip was…and it all starts with our host, Caroline and her husband Jo. The listing of the property was spot on to what we experienced. The cozy house is nestled in a gated resort-style area and about a 3 minute walk to the most special and magical beach you’ve ever been to. We had 4 adults and one 14 year old and it was a perfect place for all of us to be together. We needed a ride from the ferry (our small rental wasn’t big enough for everything) and Jo was there waiting with a sign.
They live adjacent to the property which added a friendly face every so often along with immediate response to any questions we had. The recs for dinner were perfection and we felt lucky to be in our own house versus a hotel experience. We fell in love with Mo’orea and can’t wait to come back and stay here again.

This place is amazing! We stayed for one month and had a fabulous, relaxing time! Caroline was an amazing host and was right there whenever we had a question, very kind and considerate. We highly recommend to stay here. The beach is amazing and super easy access, just a quick walk. We also played tennis a lot in the evening when it got cooler, the court is good and was available. This place really has everything you need. The kayaks were really nice to have to explore the fish and the motu's. We look forward to coming back!

We had a great stay at Caroline’s place! The house was clean and comfortable for four people and it had everything that we needed. Caroline was very friendly and welcoming, and she always answered our questions quickly. She was very helpful. The house is located a few steps away from one of the most beautiful beaches in Mo’orea and there are kayaks so you can go and explore the lagoon. It made it easy to see rays and sharks. We recommend the place and would definitely stay there again.

The best beach! Quiet with a small amount of people. The water was warm and the swimming was enjoyable. Our host was warm and accommodating, setting up our transfers and checking in on us along with her cat, Felix. We cooked many meals in a well equipped kitchen and markets, shops and restaurants are within walking distance. Excellent stay. Thanks so much!

We stayed at this property in late 2019 and fell in love but Covid threw a wrench in our plans to return but this was our year!!! It was so great to be welcomed back to a place that really feels like a home away from home. The inside is fantastic and for us, the outside was the cherry on top. Such a lovely yard/huge deck. That is where we spent most of our time in mornings and evenings, eating, relaxing, using bbq, loving up the owners kitty Felix and of course napping. The location can’t be beat, the beach and water sublime and almost feels private. You can use the kayaks to go over to the motus and to see the rays and sharks. We also really enjoyed a drink or coffee at the hotel next door with a jaw dropping view. Most importantly, the host Caroline is so so so lovely. You will not be disappointed if you choose this place for your stay in Moorea. Merci!!

Moorea is a fantastic island to experience French Polynesia at its best and this house is perfect as a base to explore Moorea. The location is excellent, close to attractions such as Magic Mountain (a great hike and fantastic panoramic view of Moorea), the Belvedere (another great hike and viewpoint), snorkeling (a 2 minute walk to the beach), kayaking (kayaks provided with the house) and many restaurants.
We can't say enough positive things about our property manager, Caroline. She arranged our transfer from the ferry (Jo, the driver, provided a wealth of information on the way to the house) and welcomed us to the house. Throughout our stay she was very responsive and provided invaluable information on what to see and do in the area. She also has a rental vehicle available at competitive rates to use to explore the entire island. She went above and beyond our expectations, even to the point of offering to dry our clothes in her dryer. The constant rain showers were preventing the laundry from drying on the clothes line.
The house had everything we needed, from a BBQ to air conditioning in the bedroom to a Nespresso machine for great lattes in the mornings. We spent hours on the covered patio, enjoying the ambience. The fully fence yard provides privacy from passersby, roosters and stray dogs.
Truly a wonderful place to experience our personal "Adventures in Paradise".

House was well located in a private subdivision steps from the beach. Owners house is attached to the unit. Owner was kind, considerate and quick to react to any questions we had. We did not need a car but staying here again I would probably enjoy it. One can walk to a few good restaurants

This place was absolutely perfect for an island get away with crystal clear water just a 2 min walk to the beach. Caroline was super helpful and even rented us a car which was very convenient. If your thinking about booking it I recommend it !

Loved everything!
This was my first real trip since the "before times" (I'm writing this in the summer of 2022). I am so glad we picked this location and house. It was a great experience to have our own place and just sort of live life as normal, albeit in such an amazing location--walking to the little market, making our coffee and having it on the deck. It was really the best of both worlds because we felt well taken care of in our house (even air conditioning, when we wanted it!) but had a lot of autonomy too. The beach is just a couple minutes' walk away. Do check out a sunset of course, but also a sunrise! And take advantage of the free kayaks, especially to paddle out to Coco Beach! (Make a reservation on their site though!)

I wish we had stayed longer
We had a wonderful and comfortable visit. The beach is amazing, you can snorkel right there or take the kayaks out to swim with sharks and stingrays. The sunsets are amazing.
Caroline is the perfect host. She was promptly available for anything we needed yet gave us privacy to enjoy ourselves. We rented a car from her at a much lower rate than other places on the island and the car was perfect for our needs.
The bungalow is exactly as pictured in the listing. The beds are comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with everything you could need. There was plenty of space for the 4 of us to enjoy meals either inside at the breakfast bar or outside at the patio table.
We stayed for 5 days and it wasn't long enough, I would recommend at least one week and also have Caroline make reservations at Coco Beach restaurant in advance.
We will definitely come back and stay here again!

Best of Moorea
My husband and I really enjoyed staying here. We stayed three nights. Its easy to get to, great location, gated, quiet, close to the beach and dock. The house it self is cute. Two bedrooms with a full bathroom between them, full kitchen with bar stools to eat at counter, livingroom with couch and TV which we never turned on, washer and ac in the bedrooms. There are kayaks and ping pong table. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook. Coffee maker, Nespresso, stove, microwave, counter oven, grill and all the things to eat and cook with. A big covered patio was a place we hung out out of the sun and have some drinks. Caroline was amazing with setting Coco beach lunch for us. Not only did she answer all of our questions, she's great to have conversation with. She lives next door, so she stopped by to introduce herself and then on our last day. They have two cats and a dog. The cats would come by in the mornings and visit on the patio, but not annoying or mean. They are friendly. We rented our own car, but you can rent that through her too. The island is super easy to drive around on your own. Theres a big Champion grocery store near the marina that we stopped at since it was so close to marina. There is also a Super U at Cook bay thats closer to the house. Highly recommend staying here is your visiting Moorea.

Probably the best location on the Island.
Caroline, the host, figures prominently in many review’s of this property and deservedly so. We have stayed in many VRBOs over the years and she is he best. She is accessible, informative but not intrusive (even though she lives n xt door). Moored is a beautiful, small island with not a lot going on. If that’s ok with you, this may be he best location on the Island. We had a r3ntal car (from Caroline) for just two days of our two-week stay. We used it to see some sights and go to th big supermarket which is close to the ferry. We did just fine. The are a number of good/decent restaurants within walking distanc3 of the property along with an adequate little grocery store where we bought croissants most mornings. Be sure to go for lunch at Coco Beach at least once and take snorkeling gear that you can rent on th3 property’s beach. All in all a great vacation in a very pleasant environment.

Sunset VRBO
The location is great! The beach is approx. 150 yards away. This area is very popular with tour groups to see the sharks and rays. We enjoyed doing this too. There are several restaurants, small shops, and a gas station within 2 km. There is a small grocery store approx 1/4 mile away and several more within 2 miles. We enjoyed using the provided 2-person kyak every day to go see the rays and sharks and to visit the beaches on the nearby motos. There are 3 other kyaks there as well. We appreciated all the needed kitchen items so we could prepare meals; however, it does not have an oven. We used the gas grill several times. We really liked the lanai where we spent most mornings and evenings. All TV channels are in French, but this is not surprising since this is French Polynesia. This is our first VRBO experience and we would recommend it to others.

A DREAM COME TRUE!!
What an absolute delight! Caroline and Jo were such awesome hosts! Even during the confinement, we had the adventure of a lifetime! The house is just a minute walk to the best beach on Moorea. We kayaked nearly everyday and took a couple of beautiful hikes! Everything Caroline and Jo do is with sincere willingness to help their guest to have the best experience possible. Their hospitality along with the beautiful house and beach was above and beyond what we could have ever imagined!!

Sweet Home Steps from Dream Beach
Lovely home with AC, two bedrooms, and wide "lanai" covered garden deck, steps from very pretty beach. Beach dock has a lagoon view to dream about, as does the nearby deck of the beach bar at Les Tipanier Hotel; go for coffee, stay for hours. Caroline and Joseph are true VRBO Super Hosts, enormously helpful and kind from the start. They even helped us make advance reservations for key places! Especially recommend Coco Beach restaurant on Motu Tiahura across the water, beach restaurant of my dreams. Message Caroline a few weeks in advance of the date you'd like, to request she call in French for your reservation. If the weather is good, you can kayak there from Caroline's; if not, the restaurant boat can take you there and back.

Amazing
Our stay was amazing. We spent 9 nights. The house is lovely and has everything you need. We also rented a car from the owners which was very convenient. The beach that is located just a short walk from the home is beautiful. We most of all enjoyed the kayaking. I am already planning on returning next year.
