location was fab, had everything we needed. Felt safe and secure, nice and quiet.

Great location and spacious living area. Pleasant hosts. Easy check in and check out.

Some of the kitchen utensils had been put away unwashed and the coffee machine sprayed coffee everywhere when the container for the used pods just dropped out when pulled (no holder).

Beautiful, contemporary apartment by the marina

Beautiful contemporary, pristine apartment with great facilities including a fully fitted kitchen, washing machine and a lovely living area and balcony. The swimming pool and hot tub are great too. Great host too who explained everything and made helpful recommendations for restaurants.

A small town with lots of water-based activities (e.g. glass-bottomed boat trip) from which a number of interesting places can be visited; we should probably have stayed longer than two nights. We stayed at Apartment by the Marina which is part of a pretty large, albeit not high-rise, complex. It’s difficult to be too critical as the apartment was well-equipped – good kitchen, lots of crockery, cutlery, and glassware, very good laundry facilities, a big balcony with BBQ – but it was just a unit, not luxurious but adequate. And no real marina view. VFM at $270pn is expensive. Rating 8/10.

Harry’s friendly welcome and local recommendations were a great start. The apartment, location and pool facilities were fantastic. If we were to come back to Whitianga we’d definitely stay here again.

Great apartment with everything you may need. Perfect location. The host was super accommodating and friendly.

Everything was fantastic, the only thing I would change would be the bed, it was too soft but that's just my personal preference.

Nice apartment, beautiful bed linen, central location. Owners are lovely.

The apartment complex is noisey day and night, the apartment isn’t sound proof.
