We enjoyed our whole stay. The kids also can play outside our room because its spacious.

The stuffs are all friendly and very accommodating. The place were clean, spacious and near to Cloud9, Catangnan bridge and Public market.

Un hostel recomendado😊

Un hostel bien ubicado, con todas las necesidades básicas cubiertas, tiene aire acondicionado, la habitación estaba limpia y un entorno muy bonito.

El personal del hostel está por aquí pero no hay mucha interacción con ellos. Si buscáis algo más de ambiente con huéspedes y con el personal del hostel, aquí no lo tendréis. Pero si mucha tranquilidad🙂

Nothing special except for the dimensions of the room and the hot shower

They wasn’t very friendly every time i was in kitchen it was like id like to run away there were just the staff there and it wasn’t a real hostal just a place where sleep and go away

Pleasant

The staffs were friendly and accommodating. They attend to our needs esp Tata & Paloy.

Not clean. Flies everywhere. No maintenance. The owners were intimidating. The atmosphere around them was not welcoming.

I love the location and it is close to a good coffee place, Kanaway. And as well as Sunset bridge.

It was still under construction, and the aircondition is not that cold.

All in all, it was a bad experience and not worth the price at all. It was only good in the pictures

There's one staff that helped us when we have to book a ride/UV to airport.

We had an awful stay. On our first day, we have to use two bedrooms because the bathroom in our supposed room is under construction. The blankets and bedsheets smells awful. There's bugs in the room and the bedsheets. The bathroom smells bad. On our second day, we moved to a new room which unfortunately is too small for 5 people. It looks like a 4-people bedroom, but since we're 5, they gave us an extra bed. However, we have to lay the extra bed at the center of the room which made it hard to navigate the room. The bathroom was bad too. The shower head doesn't work properly, it sprays too hard and it hurts on the skin. We have to use the pail just to take a bath. There's bugs in the new room as well + the bedsheets. All in all, it was a bad experience and not worth the price at all. It was only good in the pictures but not in real life.

the property was not well maintained, the bathroom stinks and the caretaker is always away so if you need assistance it will be hard. Misleading photos in the listing. the room doesn’t look like that in person.

Avoid unless you find the room for an extremely cheap price and you are on a budget

The room had a normal size and it was quite clean. It is very basic and apart from the beds, one table and one item to hang clothes there was nothing more. The checkin was quick, we arrived and they dropped us the key as they were in the common area. The bathroom was quite simple, but at least in decent condition. Water was not flowing much from the shower, there was no pressure.

The common area was really different from what I saw in the pictures. All rotten, mold, dirty and almost nothing usable at disposal of guests. I opened the kitchen doors and I found that inside was disgusting, cockroaches, dirty items hidden there. I left one little bag with my food at night close to the microwave and the morning after was disappeared, I also asked what was the wifi to the stuff, they replied saying you can try with a password but they didn't say which wifi I was supposed to use. After that they never answered anymore.

Helpful host, good area & close to most things, especially with moped that can be rented from the hostel

Bad experience unfortunately

The location was close to restaurants and facilities

We arrived for the check in. Nobody welcomed us to explain where was our room. They had no key to lock our door. So we decided to change our hotel, staying 1 night instead of 5.

The cleanliness, location and the hospitability of Higala staff. Will definitely book again. Well recommended to first time travellers to Siargao.

anyway I like to stay again in their place. it good value of money and peaceful.

the owner was so nice, can rent motorbikes and they also organized our transportation to the airport.

only the problem is it’s hard to find their staff if we need something. I think the owner is just so nice so the staff can do anything they want.
