I can't say enough about this property. Its perfect, extremely private, 221 steps out the front door to one of the best beaches in HI. Even closer if you walk out the back. This is the kind of place that if you want to walk around without clothes and never leave the place you can. The furniture is very comfortable. I napped on the couches in the late afternoon in extreme comfort. With the windows open, that Hawaii ocean breeze just floats through the house. Keep all of the windows open. No bugs. The pool is solar heated using a black bottom -- I think its lava. The kitchen has excellent chicago cutlery knives. (many rentals have awful knives for some reason). The kitchen well appointed, well spaced for two people to move about. The extra units were perfect. Privacy for everyone. Its crazy! The service by Trinity was fantastic. We wanted for nothing. My days were spent like this: Every morning, I would meditate from 6:15 to 7 as the sun rose over the islands. Then I would snorkel for an hour at lanikai beach. And yes, it is so close its silly. then I would come back rinse off in the outdoor hot shower and going for a swim in the pool. Then around 8:30 or 9, I would do yoga on the lanai as the sun continued to rise. From then, it was bulletproof coffee and reading on the lanai, until it was time to go to Nalu for the Acai bowl and a second cup of local hawaiin coffee or fresh fruit with fresh barbecued fish and eggs for breakfast. I’ll admit to some mimosas in the morning as well. The day would then move along peacefully. Whether it be back to Lanikai for more swimming or to Kailua beach or to Royal Hawaiin (which was crazy interesting) for golf. the mid-day was usually a pretty relaxing activity. By the time the afternoon swim came around we were so relaxed that all we could do was lie around and read by the pool, on the lanai watching kayaks struggle to get to the islands or just nap. By late evening, we usually prepared fresh fish with mango salsa on grill. Or went out to Uahi, Cactus or some other local fare. The Whole Foods was a great resource and local Bikram Yoga studio was a nearby diversion. We never watched TV and were in bed by 9 or 10 every night Its expensive. but if you're in this price range then its worth it. what a wonderful time.

Lovely Honu Heaven
Lovely Honu Heaven
Our family truly enjoyed our month long stay at the lovely Honu Heaven. The house and property were clean and well-maintained, and had everything we needed for our extended beach vacation. The photographs of the house and property are depicted accurately, and there is a great view from the ocean-facing cement deck. Although there are very steep steps leading from the property wall to the ocean for swimming, we found it impossible and unsafe to enter the ocean from the property, as the steps were extremely slippery and the ocean was quite rough as the waves break directly on the wall. The good news is that the access to Lanikai Beach is only a short walk down the street! The entire team at Trinity Properties were exceptional from Robin, who booked the property to Janelle, who greeted us, answered every phone call, and immediately took care of minor problems to Julie, who processed our refund security deposit in record time! We would not hesitate to rent again from Trinity, and highly recommend this professional and competent management company.
