There are plenty of art festivals, outdoor markets and walking shopping in the area. Otherwise Fountain Hills is only 15-20 minutes from Scottsdale, Mesa or Tempe areas.

Our family enjoyed the stay in Fountain Hills. The house was well suited for 6 of us with the three bedrooms and casita. Location was fabulous. We thoroughly enjoyed Fountain Hills. House was close to the six golf courses we played. Pool and spa were great. House was very comfortable, including the beds, for all of us. Felt like a resort. Would recommend this home for a group stay. Owner very responsive and check in/check out easy.

This property was perfect for us - 2 couples and with 2 adult children. The house was so beautiful -- big enough that we could enjoy cooking together, playing games, relaxing in the beautiful hot tub/pool, celebrating family and the new year and everyone had their own bathroom!! The kitchen was exceptionally well stocked, the bedding so comfortable and amenities were perfect.
The location was ideal -- close to golf, hiking, dining. shopping and an easy drive to Sodona - which is not to be missed.
Finally, Stephanie was very responsive and easy to work with!
We all agreed we would rent this house again -- and we are extensive VRBO users with a high bar!

Wonderful home
My wife and I came out to this wonderful property for some peace and quiet. It surely didn’t disappoint. The backyard pool and spa were exactly what we needed. It was quiet, peaceful, and definitely private. The home was very spacious. We would definitely come back here numerous times.

Spring Vacation Getaway
Perfect spring vacation getaway for two families. The house was beautiful with plenty of space. Great kitchen area. All bedrooms have private baths. Wonderful and very private back patio with great pool, spa, lounge, and eating areas. Located in a quiet and very walkable neighborhood. Easy walk down to the bar and grill at the golf course for a bite to eat. We loved our stay!

Nice but needs some improvement
The property is in a gorgeous setting, very private back yard, great neighborhood. There is a pool with a hot tub and waterfall. The house is large and has all the supplies needed. The decor is rather outdated, but adequate. The owner was communicative and responsive when we had questions. Overall, it was a very nice stay. However, some things need improved:
1. There were 20+ bees swarming around the ledge of the hot tub where the water spilled into the pool. For those with allergies or fear of bees, this made the pool and hot tub unusable. When owner was contacted about this problem, she said the bees were just “collecting water” and it was part of living “out west” and declined to do anything about it. This was extremely disappointing, as the outdoor pool area was the main reason we chose this property.
2. Also related to the pool: there was a lot of debris in the pool and a white film on all the tile. When I asked about having the pool cleaned, the owner declined, saying “the pool guy comes on Tuesday”, which was the day we were leaving.
3. This home can sleep at least 10 people. However, there were only two loungers at the pool. If more than 2 people wanted to sunbathe, you had to sit in a regular chair or lay on the concrete. Not ideal for people coming from a cold climate and very much wanting to soak up some sun!!
4. The linens in all the bedrooms were not clean - including finding hairs not belonging to us. The sheets didn’t fit well and were constantly coming off. The mattress “topper” in the master was completely crooked and only covered a portion of the actual bed. The only way to fix it was to strip the entire bed and remake it. Not how you want to start your first night after a long flight.
5. Owner requires all linens to be laundered by the guest before leaving. This seems like a big ask, as many of us had an 8:00am flight and needed to leave for the airport by 5:15am. Is it reasonable to request guests to wake up at 2;00am to do several loads of laundry prior to leaving? Maybe this is why all the sheets were dirty?? Perhaps the previous guests were not able to complete all of their laundry chores before they left? The owner has cleaners come in between rentals - why would laundry not be part of that service?
6. Bathroom sink in the casita was clogged upon arrival. Owner said “use Drano”, when notified, but this did not work.
Several disappointing things but we made do and enjoyed.

Grand house, great setting
Lovely Canyon setting, with an “old world” opulent decor. LOTS of stairs inside and outside. Not great for children, especially kids under 5? Also tough on “old knees and hips”!

We provided a check in list for property mor. to correct gor next Tennant's, light bulbs needing to be replaced, minor issues of things coming loose needing to be secured, also better instruction would help, Carpeting needs attention, interior decoration, plants, could be updated.

Great Rental and Hosts
A wonderful house with ample space to accommodate 8 adults. There is a 5th bedroom option (a day bed in the workout room adjoined to a shared bathroom) but I wouldn't put anyone in there unless it's a teen. Good kitchen, two refrigerators, high powered gas stove, and the appliances you need. Nice designer pool perfect for an afternoon soak. Very helpful and responsive owners.

Wonderful home
This is a beautiful house in a private setting. A great pool and hot tub along with a wonderful kitchen to cook in. We had a glitch upon checking in. Stephanie was responsive and accommodating. This was a great place for our family to stay too. Lots of room for everyone.

Exceeded Expectations
I always choose VRBO properties for the pools. Wow! This one did not disappoint! It was magnificent. By far, it was the best VRBO pool we've ever experienced over our 11+ years of renting vacation houses. The house was also amazing. From the minute you enter through an iron gate into the tasteful courtyard to the front door (which must be at least 20 feet tall,) you know you are in for something special. The photos do not do it justice. My three grown daughters and their families each had their own bedroom and bathroom and my husband and I enjoyed the palatial master bedroom suite fully. This home was beautifully equipped with anything you could want. We celebrated Christmas there which always entails a lot of cooking and we didn't want for anything in the kitchen to help us with this task. There are plates and pots and pans and utensils galore! The pantry off the kitchen held small appliances that we didn't even know we needed! Now that I know where everything is, I'll be sure to rent this house again if ever back in Phoenix area! There are beautiful windows throughout the home which provide beautiful views of the surrounding area. We enjoyed looking at the lemon and orange tree off of the family room especially. The neighborhood has sidewalks throughout which make taking leisurely walks or jogs especially nice. I cannot recommend this lovely home enough. It is simply beautiful.

A Great Thanksgiving Week
The house is beautiful and the back of the house with private patio, pool and spa is gorgeous! Our family came from three different places and loved every minute of our stay. My son worked remotely in the office in the early part of the week and that was a perfect set up for him. My daughter, her husband and two kids loved riding their mountain bikes on trails they could access from the house and we all enjoyed the Fountain and the park in center of Fountain Hills. Couldn’t be happier with our rental week!

Scottsdale Golf Trip
We had 4 couples out to Scottsdale for a golf trip. The owner was very cooperative and the home suited our needs with all BR having a private bath. The outdoor area is awesome with the seating, pool and hot tub. We were also conveniently located to grocery and golf courses we played.

Hidden Gem in Desert
This is by far the Best Vacation Rental we have ever had. The Home and Amenities were over the top. The Owner was the most responsive owner I have dealt with. If you are lookin for a place to stay that has everything you can imagine, this is it!!

Circa 2003 Tuscan time capsule
Spacious 4 BR (each with en-suite bath) with a private guest wing and casita. Quiet Fountain Hills neighborhood with great views, walking/biking. Adero Canyon and McDowell Mtn trailheads are nearby. Back yard pool, fountain with desert views was exactly the vibe we wanted. NW facing back yard with nice sun in winter months (pool heat a must). Great office and a fitness room gave us private working spaces with 2 WiFi networks (minor bandwidth issues). Several appliances/issues/dumb renter items upon check in and Owner responded quickly and patiently. House is multi level with steps to bed/bath and no cabinet handles for those with any mobility limitations. HVAC did not work in the primary suite and little things like only 5 dinner forks/3 teaspoons, lights out in stairways and halls could be improved.

This was a great house in a good location. It worked out great for our two families. The house was very comfortable for everyone and was stocked with everything we needed. And we all had a great time in the pool and hot tub. Would definitely recommend this place.

Fountain Hills luxury home with pool and hot tub
We enjoyed our stay. The only issues we had were the dishwasher which needed repairing and we had to wash our dishes about 4 days of our stay. And there was no cable box for the TV in the living room. We could connect our Apple TV from our I pad so that was not a big deal. The hot tub and pool were great. We had to learn how to heat both efficiently. Owners were responsive to us by cell phone and text. Rooms were spacious. Kitchen only had one wok skillet so we purchased two skillets to use and we left them for other renters. Several levels with steps so young children have to be supervised closely. Nice casita separate from home for privacy and quiet. Nice workout room.

We are a group of 7 cyclists. The place was perfect for us. It is located in Fountain Hills close to many great rides. Beautiful outdoor space with eating are that we could gather in. Owner responded quickly to questions.

HOME AWAY FROM HOME
This was my 2nd consecutive stay at Travis and Stephanie's beautiful home in Fountian Hills, AZ. I can't say enough how pleased myself and close friends were to have stayed here again. Their home is perfect, whether your lounging by the pool/hot tub, making a nice dinner or getting some rest for the next day. The amenities in the nearby area include; golfing, dining, site seeing and plenty of shopping if interested. Thank you again Travis and Stephanie for opening your wonderful home to us again!

Great home, plenty of space, wonderful pool and Jacuzzi!
Perfect home for you and the family and friends to "get away" to Scottsdale's beautiful Fountain Hills area! We went with another couple and a friend and had a great time, the home is large and spacious with great furniture and all four bedrooms, one is a separate casita, are big with en-suite bathrooms! Extremely private backyard with a great pool and wonderful Jacuzzi with an outdoor kitchen, perfect for staying in or if you like to go out there is a wonderful happy hour a 1/4 mile down the street at Sunridge Golf Club. We ate several times as well at the Sapori de Italia which has a great menu and the family takes great care of you and once at Flourish a five star upscale dinner with a view at a local resort! The price for this home is well worth it, you will not be disappointed! Eat the cake, take a trip and treat yourself to this great Arizona home!

Very elegant home great for 6-8 people.
Lovely home, just as pictured and reviewed. The owner was immediately available to help with a glitch on arrival. (Entry keypad did not work, perhaps a weak battery.) A spacious place for a family Thanksgiving trip with adult children. It was not a problem for us, but you should be aware that you need to climb up or down several stairs to move from various areas of the home and pool.
