About this apartment rental
Our condo is an open-floor plan design for easy socializing between the kitchen, dining and living room areas. The dining table seats 6 and the kitchen banquette has seating for 3 people. The view from the living room overlooks the Bay of Banderas. For the best panoramic views, access the balcony from the living room or the master bedroom. The master suite has a king size bed, TV with Blue Ray, a writing desk and a full bath with double sinks and large walk-in shower. The guest bedroom, which has views of the Sierra Madre foothills, has twin beds that can be put together to make another king sized bed and also has a Smart TV. The guest bathroom is accessible from this bedroom or the main living area.

Great condo, very spacious and comfortable. It has everything you will need. Fabulous views from a spacious deck looking out to the ocean with the best sunsets and views of the city. Perfect location, step outside and you can walk along the malecon and search out all the great restaurants Puerta Vallarta Romantica zone has to offer. We very much enjoyed the rooftop pool for cooling off.

We had a great stay here. Loved the condo - very stylish, clean and updated. The location was perfect for us: so many wonderful restaurants nearby and a great coffee shop literally footsteps from the building entrance. The best part was the roof-top pool just one flight up. Highly recommend!!!

Would give the experience a 5 star review but we had some issues getting into the condo. Really hadn’t been fully set up for the season (water turned off, some AC issues, etc) but owner was very responsive and remedied as quickly as possible, it just meant we had workers coming in the first couple days of our stay.
Location, kitchen, patio, housekeeping- all great!

This condo has been beautifully updated and maintained. It is very comfortable and perfect for two couples in our case. The views of the bay are amazing. The location is perfect, close to all that Zona Romantica has to offer as well as close enough to El Centro to walk to many things there. The host is responsive and easy to work with. All in all a great experience.

Where do I begin. Location is spectacular. Right on the beach. The condo faces the ocean and on the top floor so has the perfect view. The unit is well maintained as is the building. The kitchen is well appointed with appliances, dishes, cutlery so no concerns having guests for a meal. Beds are comfy. Air conditioning works well. Check-in seamless and secure. Staff polite and supportive. Neighbouring unit owners friendly and knowledgeable about the area
The owner of this property provides everything you need and more. Good communication, instructions etc. This propery is stellar in every way. We are still pinching ourselves as to how our vacation was so enjoyable due in a large part to the accommodations. Thank you Janet

Beautiful 2 bedroom condo overlooking the Malecon and the beach in the Romantic Zone of Puerto Vallarta! Equipped with everything you could possibly need. We loved sleeping to the sound of the tide. Fabulous balcony with amazing views of the Bay of Banderas. Short walk to so many restaurants and activities. I love staying here!

Janet's apartment at the Vista del Sol is one of the best spots in PVR to root yourself while you discover Zona Romantica. We loved that it was so close to the ocean, the sound of the waves was always in our ears.
The house is on the top floor of the building and was very airy and well-decorated. The air conditioning in the rooms helped us cope with the hot evenings, and the balcony over the malecon was the perfect place to see the almost nightly fireworks.
Janet was very responsive from the first point of contact before the trip all through to the last day, and was quick to provide a solution whenever we had a question. It is a beautiful property and we hope to stay there again someday.

The condo is beautiful, well kept, clean, and complete with many amenities. We enjoyed the beautiful beachfront view. There is a manned, gated entrance to the building. Janet is a wonderful host, she provides very detailed instructions for use of everything in the condo, from use of tv remotes to how to order a replacement water bottle in the unit. My daughter and I were there for one week, specifically to work virtually and we had no issues. The bed mattresses are comfortable. We did not use most of the apartment offerings, only the wifi and the AC as it is extremely hot and humid during the rainy season, and we went out for our meals. We would highly recommend staying here. Thank you, Janet!

We really could not have asked for anything more. The location was central to the most walkable visitor friendly portion of Puerto Vallarta. The building was easy to find, easy to check into, and all staff were friendly and accommodating. The unit itself had to be one of the best in the area as it was on the 9th floor with spectacular views, vaulted ceilings, and was well furnished and decorated. The roof top pool was a short walk up one more level via the stairs. It was the off season, so we had the pool to ourselves most of the time we were there. This was our first visit to Puerto Vallarta and we will be returning at some point in the future. I would highly recommend this unit to anyone considering it.

This condo is very comfortable, nicely decorated and in the perfect location. The view from the balcony and the rooftop are amazing! We’ve stayed at many different condos throughout Puerto Vallarta and by far we loved how this condo is central to everything we enjoy! We will definitely consider staying here again!

My wife and I have been to PV many time in the past 14 years. This was by far the best place we stayed. Greatly enjoyed the closeness to the beach in a secure setting. The place was well keep and very well appointed. Having stayed there during the summer had its perks as well, as there were very few people in town at the time. Would very much like to make this a regular spot to stay as its one of the best spots we have found.

Beautiful condo and great location. Host was very responsive and concerned that our stay was as expected and advertised.
Building security was great as there was always security at the door to let us in and out of the building.
Pool and comon areas were clean and quiet with lots of seating.
You can walk to all the great food and shops and stroll the Malecon right outside the door.
Did I mention the incredible view!!!!

I’ve stayed in other units in this building, but this one is definitely special!
Being on the top floor gives it unique features like the painted vaulted ceilings, and the best views.
It is really close to the pool too, only a few steps up the stairs (or elevator).
The building management is friendly and security available 24/7. We didn’t have any issues but it’s great to have them in case. The owner Janet was also quick to get back to us when we had questions.
The location is the best too! It’s right on the beach and close to the nightlife, while still far enough to be quiet and tranquil.
Our housekeeper Matilde was very friendly, and did an amazing job keeping the unit in top shape.
I cannot recommend this unit enough!

Condo was outstanding and the view was amazing. I have always stayed at Vista Del Sol since I started coming to Puerto Vallarta in 2000. This condo is one of the best I have stayed in so far and will definitely plan on staying here again if available.

The location puts us close to restaurants and shops. We love sitting on the balcony in the morning, with our coffee, just staring at the ocean. The sunsets are also amazing. The front desk, maids, and gardeners are all friendly and welcoming.. This condo is very popular, so book early.

honestly im not sure if this place could get better. the staff were always there and did their job to the very best. location is right amongst everything. right in the middle of everything. although simple, it was so amazing to watch the pelicans just.... float.... past the balcony 3-4 times an hour. falling asleep every night to the waves upon the shore. quiet after 10 pm. i cannot express my pleasure in this unit enough. thank you so much Janet, i will return to your unit as soon as i can

I've stayed at this building many times and I love it. The unit itself is beautiful, the view is incredible and the front desk staff is great. However, the owner made our stay challenging.
The A/C was broken in the main living area, making the main portion of the condo unusable for most of our stay.
When we contacted the owner, she responded right away by telling US to go file a maintenance request with the building and deal with the repair ourselves. After dealing with filing the request, we had to wait around the next morning for the repair person to come. The A/C was still not fixed and we were stuck with a boiling hot condo.
Dealing with someone else's home repairs isn't much of a vacation.
Not wanting to coordinate more repairs, we let the owner know the A/C still didn't work toward the end of our stay after an unbearable evening. The owner implied this was a known larger issue, offering no compensation. When we suggested she offer a small refund, she was argumentative with unreasonable excuses.
The owner was responsive, but not helpful.
We understand that unforeseen things go wrong in homes, but the way this was handled was so disappointing and such bad business.

The condo is unequivocally lovely! All the comforts of home - with the beauty of the Bay. The condo is located in the Zone Romantica which is a vibrant area rich with restaurants and various water related activities. There is a small grocery store just a few blocks away that has all the basic necessities as well as beer, liquor and some wine.
I would strongly recommend exchanging currency to pesos at the bank - while most places do accept USD, you will get a much better exchange rate at the bank.
The building has security 24 hours/day and I can't say enough about the attentive and helpful staff!!! It is obvious that they sincerely care about the tenants.

With beautiful artwork , high ceilings, and a spectacular view, this is truly a stunning property! Our only disappointment was that the rooftop pool was closed for repairs—but once it reopens it will be amazing!

This unit on the 9th floor is amazing. Full on 180 degree view of Bandaras Bay. Balcony has shade coverage until 3:00pm after which you can put up the 2 umbrellas for some shade. Comfortable outdoor furniture. Good privacy from neighbouring units by way of beautiful greenery. Well equipped condo with air conditioning in the rooms if needed. In February we didn’t need to use it much. All furniture was comfortable and I believe the living room couch was a pull out bed. We didn’t use it but noted it. Location of this building is ideal being very close to many restaurants and a lovely French bakery around the corner and a well equipped grocery store just 2 blocks away. I will definitely stay here again. Owner was very helpful and responsive
