The property location ia great. The Cabana club is a great plus for the property. We sstayed in both sides of the duplex with a total of 20 of us. We had plenty of space for everyone. We will definitely be returning to this property.

Large house with great pool, grill, and dock. This house was exactly as advertised. Clean inside and out with plenty of room. House is conveniently located on same street at Key Colony's boat ramp and Marina. Made it very easy to drop boat and stop for gas, ice, and bait whenever needed. The house is also a short walk from the Beach Club (which is included) for food, strong drinks, and the beach. Also a quick walk to Havana Jacks Bar and Grill and Sunset Park in the other direction.

Beautiful house, very clean, Danny was very responsive and helpful. Beautiful clean pool. Kind of a pain for trailer parking (costs $150 extra). Gave Danny some suggestions and he was very receptive. Would definitely stay here again.

Was a perfect week! Sunny, lite wind, flat seas and plenty of water activities from sun up to sun down. The house was great with plenty of room inside and out for our family of 10 adults. Nice to stay at a place that everything worked and was just as promised in the house description. Danny was a pleasure to work with from our arrival to our departure. Thanks again for a memorable vacation.

This house could be beautiful!!! Absolutely stunning location. However, there were issues for what we thought was a high end rental. A few minor (but annoying) issues were no gas for grill, not enough toilet paper or paper towels to last us the week, no beach towels so we constantly were washing towels, no kitchen cloths of any kind, only 1 serving bowl and set of serving utensils. Now for the bigger issues…Dishwasher was rigged with an extension cord and stopped working until we figured out another solution. An upstairs bed had the wrong size mattress on it so it kept slipping between slats until the support broke. Now for aesthetics: Two pieces of wall art in the entire house. No rugs with slippery tile and overall a dreary brown and tan throughout. We felt like we were living in someone’s bachelor pad. There are plenty of lovely places to stay in Key Colony. This could be a top notch property. It has great bones!!

Great property, well maintained, perfect for two families. Owner/manager was in contact with us and made everything a breeze. I’ve stayed in KCB many times, and this particular canal at least 3 times now, this property has been one of the best.

This property was nothing short of amazing. The house is perfect. In the perfect location. The perfect amount of room. The pool was perfect. The owners have went to great lengths to assure that your stay is perfect. The kitchen is stocked with all kinds of things. The pool was a lifesaver from the heat and for the kids. The daily visit from the manatee was so cool. There were people playing music a couple houses down and it was very relaxing. They sang every night. This was our first time to visit the keys. We are all beach people. With the lack of beaches in the keys, the boat rentals are a must. It was so amazing to be on the water during a sunset.
I could go on and on about how nice this property is but if you are traveling to Key Colony, this is where you need to stay. We hope to be back next year.

Property:
Great size for a party of 8. Very nice home overall with large dining inside and outside. Loved having the pool and BBQ onsite.
A few maintenance items needed: many of the remotes batteries were dead, the lock to the pool heater was non-functional, the carbon monoxide detector went off twice (suspicion was bad battery or sensor), and some of the cabinets need repair. Cable is basic channels only (no ESPN). Compared with the many other stays we have had with vacation rentals it was under-supplied (no backup paper towels, toilet paper, etc.).
Location:
Awesome location and extremely convenient to many activities on the key . Highly recommend Key Colony Beach (KCB). The Cabana Club is a nice perk for older guests but not the best option for under 12 (a lot of rules against games kids would normally enjoy in the pool). Nice, low cost par 3 golf course nearby. Havana Jacks within walking distance (great outdoor restaurant). Island Fish Company a 2 min ride away.
Experience:
KCB is great. We were able to take trips with quick travel to Bahia Honda, Kayaking the Mangroves on No Name Key, Sombrero Beach, Theatre of the Sea etc. Nice in-between key with a ton to do. Easy day trip to Key West too. However there were a few frustrating things. Discrepancies with the listing check-out time (the cleaning crew noted this was not the first time). Under supplied. Heating the pool was a hassle since the lock was non-functioning. When informed of the malfunctioning carbon monoxide detector (a pretty major safety issue) did not get a timely response or anyone sent to address.
Overall:
I highly recommend the area and the house itself is quite nice. You won’t be disappointed with the vacation but compared to many of the other vacation rentals we have used in the past communication left a bit to be desired and most properties in my past experience will be better supplied.

This is a beautiful home and we were actually going to rent it again for next year before we even left, but the dates we needed were booked. Our loss! Had minor issues on arrival with lock box, but property manager handled the issue within minutes. Otherwise, we had a great time, it was peaceful, relaxing, and just the perfect getaway for us. The house is perfectly as described, the pool was perfect the child with us (once the weather cooperated), the kitchen was well stocked minus a can opener and an ice cream scoop - but hey, found them at the Dollar Store within a short distance from the house. We used the Cabana Club on the last full day of our stay since it was a perfect day to do so. We walked there and utilized the snack bar, bar, pool, and beach. Loved the towel creatures left for us upon arrival. We brought a 30' boat and had plenty of dock space. We will definitely consider staying here again, if the opportunity arises for us and the dates we need are available.

This place was amazing. Came down with a group of eight. Everyone had a great time. Enjoyed the cabana club and Havana Jacks. Looking forward to coming back.

Place was fine but several lights out which we notified owner and no one came to fix. All in all great stay other than construction next door was quite annoying and believe lighting should have been fixed as we notified on Day 1 and never got the light we requested. Everything else was fine.

This duplex is fantastic!! The pictures don't do it justice. The pool was great! 100% recommend this for a family!! The other side of the duplex is exactly the same so it makes a great option for 2 families. We saw a couple different sets of Manitees in the canal, which we thought was great.
Would definitely stay again! My recommendations below would never deter me from returning. It was awesome!
Just a few recommendations for the owner, a few bikes and kayaks would be an amazing addition. A few more sets of silverware would be great along with scissors. Everything else was perfect.

Perfect location! No need to look elsewhere
We have only good things to say about this property. Our half of the house easily accommodated 2 families of 4. Danny was a friendly & helpful host & was quick to respond to questions. The house was incredibly clean & the kitchen had enough supplies for basic meals & there is plenty of cabinet & refrigerator space for all your groceries. As of March 26, construction hadn’t started on the lot next door. We saw manatees everyday in our canal. The pool is a perfect size for lounging. While not needed during the day, we did enjoy having the pool heated during the evening hours. The Cabana club is less than a 5 minute walk. Pack beach towels as they are not provided in the house. I also recommend bringing beach chairs with you to the Cabana Club as the beach is small & the lounge chairs are quickly claimed. Absolutely no food or drink is allowed at the club. This includes water bottles. You can prove that your bottles are empty & use the water station at the club to fill up. The bar had a fun list of cocktails & friendly staff. Make sure to check out the live band Saturday afternoons. Marathon has a turtle rescue & dolphin experience & we found the drive to other keys to be easily accessible. You really can’t go wrong with this property. An additional bonus is being able to rent the other half of the house for a larger groups. We had a wonderful stay!

Great house in a quiet neighborhood
We rented this location for 7 people and had an amazing time. We brought our own boat and it was great to dock the boat right at the house. The house suited our family well. The property managers shared all needed information and text throughout our stay to check on us. In the canals we saw manatees and dolphins and enjoyed a great vacation in the keys.

Canal House
Overall, the location of this property was very nice. The house was on the newer side and was very clean upon arrival; however, the kitchen was definitely in need of some attention. To name just a few things, there was a cabinet door that wouldn't close, the toaster lever was broken, the coffee pot was clogged and the cookware/flatware was either severely missing or in need of replacement. The rest of the house had all the basics but is sparsely decorated and in need of some accessories to make it feel more cozy. The pool area is very nice and the pool was extremely clean. There were no beach towels or beach chairs which was a huge disappointment and a big "miss" for people coming for one week from up north. Nobody should have to use a bath towel around the pool or at the beach club. A little extra attention would go a long way for this otherwise nice property.

Immaculate property!!!
We had a wonderful stay here. Pictures don’t do it justice. Manatee would come right up to the dock almost everyday. The kids loved it! The pool was perfect after a busy day on the water. The owner was very quick to respond to anything we needed. Would definitely stay here again. Next time will have to be for at least 2 weeks though! Did not want to leave!

Relaxing week in Key Colony Beach
The unit is spacious and bright, with comfortable beds, leather couches that seat 7, and a huge table for 10. Large kitchen was adequately equipped. Decor was minimal. Could use some area rugs to dampen sound and add comfort. There are 3 very nice showers, but no bathtub in unit. The small pool was perfect size and temperature for cooling off, and we appreciated the afternoon shade in the back yard. Plenty of outdoor seating. Good boat dockage, but it can be hard to get on and off boat at low tide. Easy walk to Cabana Club, but the pool was pretty crowded and beach is very small and had tons of seaweed when we were there. Be aware that you cannot park boat trailer in driveway or yard on this street (other streets allow trailers), but there is a large lot a few blocks away, for a fee. There is no boat ramp at KCB, and local ramps can be very crowded. We had a great time and we would stay here again!
