Waterfront Vacation Paradise!!! This is it, the place you've been looking for. A million dollar view of the main channel of Lake Barkley. The only thing better is relaxing on the patios watching the beautiful sunsets. You are in the middle of everything outdoors. Go out and do it all: boating, fishing, hiking, hunting, swimming, etc or just sit back and relax and watch from the best place on the lake.

The recently remodeled (2012) waterfront house sits in a quite neighborhood on a bluff overlooking the east shores of Land Between the Lakes. The yard has shade trees , flowers, birdhouses, flagpole, and swing. Patios with 2 tables/chairs, swing, charcoal grill, gas grill and fire pit. Concrete driveway with parking for 2 vehicles and 2 boat trailers. Carport for car/boat or use as covered porch. Two bedrooms (1 queen, 1 full size), Living room with electric log fire place, love seat makes a twin bed, couch makes a full bed, fully equipped kitchen and 1 1/2 bathroom with everything you need. Utility room has washer, dryer, and extra fridge.

A quiet relaxing place to stay with no frills or luxuries. A little too far off the beaten path. Second bedroom was very small for the other couple. However the lake views were awesome. Our time on the patio were very valuable. I would recommend this property to a couple looking for a quiet retreat.

We could have sat on the back porch overlooking the lake forever. So serene. We enjoyed all the little critters so much. We saw a rabbit, a chipmunk, a squirrel, a lizard, humming birds, and fireflies. On the drive in we saw lots of deer and later on a wild turkey! It was wonderful. The cabin felt so homey and had everything we could possibly need. Vicki was so sweet to chat with and responded quickly to every question we had. We would definitely stay here again.

We have stayed at many VRBOs and this house was by far the best place we’ve ever rented. It’s more than advertised and the owner was super nice and friendly. We will definitely try to get back there.

From early morning sitting on the porch watching the birds, and the boats go by, to the night enjoying the sunset there is no better place than this cabin on Lake Barkley. Cabin was well stocked with essentials and very clean. And very quiet. Vicky was helpful and easy to contact. Great place for wonderful get away.

This home was clean, and perfect for having coffee while relaxing out back with a beautiful view. There is a restaurant a mile and a half down the road called The Fishing Hole. The grilled chicken was yummy. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much and would love to return again sometime.

It was a beautiful home, beautiful views, we enjoyed our stay. The host were very lovely. My children loved the large amount of games and movies that were there. Will definitely return for future memories. Thank you again for the home away from home.

Spectacular channel view property was well maintained and is even nicer than the pictures show. The owners had everything you could possibly need and were in constant communication which was wonderfully informative and eager to help in any way if you should need it living only a few miles away. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will certainly plan to return soon. thank you so much!

This property on Lake Barkley has pretty much everything it claims to have. The neighborhood is good, views are beautiful, and accommodations are as listed and described. We did enjoy our stay and thought the place was a good value. FYI: The half bath is really a toilet and sink in the laundry room which is located in the carport. The (unidentified) entrance door to that room was stuck so bad I thought it was locked. The toilet and sink are convenient to the patio, but not the bedrooms late at night. Everything we used seemed to be clean, but the claim of "everything you need" did not include a bar of bath soap or body wash. There were, however, at least six sets of salt/pepper shakers, and several spices, but no condiments or coffee except for instant decaf. TV in the main room was well equipped. Generally, the property seems well serviced for day-to-day rentals, but seems as though nobody is responsible for the place's long term building maintenance or improvement of the external features such as patio surfaces, fence repair, and corroded cedar shingle siding. ALSO, FYI, there is no (visible or obvious) house number to match the address given, so you might be a bit confused at first. The photo online is accurate enough to make the connection, but the mailbox next to the driveway must belong to someone else. All in all, we were satisfied with the place at that price, and I would not discourage anyone from going there; just don't expect more than adequate.

Beautiful view, nice cozy cabin with all the comforts of home. We were away most of the time visiting family but always glad to get back to the cabin to rest and relax at the end of the day after all of the driving. Wished we had more time to spend just being at the cabin but all in all it was a very nice visit and a great place to stay.

If you enjoy a low key relaxing vacation spot....this is it!! I enjoyed sitting out back watching the birds, boats and the lake. My husband loved the swing outback. The house had everything you would need to cook there or close enough to several restaurants. We found 2 local swimming spots and rented a boat one...all within a short distance. Cant wait to go back

I vista and setting that's both inspiring and placid, Stayed 4 days, enjoyed each immensely. Along with the view, the open setting comes with more breezes than other locales, perhaps. Pro tip - the utility room contains a privy, too.

We had an amazing time at this property. Wonderful cabin, wonderful view! Vickie had everything together for us. She has taken care of everything! We take our own Gerx and tissue everywhere. We didn't even have to get them out!!!

Beautiful area on the river. House was clean and cozy and had everything we needed. After the sunsets we spent the evenings playing games with family. Beds were ok, squeaky when we moved. Had instructions for the tv and notes where we could find additional towels, sheets, first aid kit, etc Great communication with owner answered questions immediately. She even dropped off Halloween candy just in case we had kids stop by. We will stay again if in the area.

We were so happy with the cabin on the bluff overlooking Barkley Lake. The patio was inviting with plants and blooming flowers and plenty of outdoor furniture. We enjoyed watching the lake traffic and also enjoyed the hummingbirds. The inside of cabin was very clean and organized. Bed and furniture were comfortable and water pressure good. We look forward to staying here again!
