Relax on the river in this rustic log cabin, which includes a private hot tub on the screened-in porch. The rushing waters of the Little Pigeon River provide a peaceful ambiance during your stay. You can also snuggle up in front of the wood-burning fireplace, made of native stone, on those cool East Tennessee evenings. Wood is provided from October through February. A mix of antique and contemporary furnishings add to the rustic feel of this cabin. All the excitement of Downtown Gatlinburg is a short walk away; however, if you don't feel like walking, take advantage of the near by Trolley Service to Gatlinburg, or Pigeon Forge .

This cozy cabin, located in a quiet neighborhood, is the perfect romantic retreat for you and that special someone, or bring a group of family and friends to enjoy comfortable accommodations for up to 6 guests. A spiral staircase leads you to the two bedrooms upstairs, both of which contain ceiling fans and queen size beds. The bathroom on this floor is furnished with a granite countertop, tile floor, and a shower/tub combo. The main floor features a queen size bed in the antique log great-room with hardwood floors. In addition, this floor features a 32' flatscreen TV with cable/DVD/VCR, fully equipped kitchen with breakfast table, full bathroom with shower/tub combo, and washer and dryer. The screened-in porch overlooking the river is also host to a ceiling fan, comfortable rocking chairs, and authentic barn-wood doors, which provide extra privacy. For you anglers, the stocked river is a guaranteed good-time for even the most novice of fisherman.

I am a clean freak and it is very rare that I am completely pleased with the cleanliness of a property, that’s something I’ve just come to accept. This place was extremely clean. Walking distance to downtown Gatlinburg and short drive to Pigeon Forge. My family enjoyed our stay!

My husband and I brought my Mother for the second time and she didn't want to be up in the mountains, so we chose this location. It was even better than described! It was one of the cleanest places we've ever stayed in, and it was so close to everything!!! The river was ao relaxing and we spend a LOT of time just sitting and enjoying being there. The bed on the 1st floor was PERFECT as well. I highly recommend this cabin. We'll definitely be back. I do believe my 16yr old niece would have loved it too had she been with us.

Dog friendly, would never known dogs were there in the past. Super clean, no odors. Excellent location on creek. Walking distance to Gatlinburg trolley, or we could have walked to downtown. Super convenient location, easy to go back to the left to Pigeon Forge in 12 min as it’s not in a high traffic area and downtown Gatlinburg was to the right. Very hot outside, AC was great. Super pleased

Everything was immaculate upon our arrival. Pictures don’t do justice to this place. The view of the river is what makes this cozy cabin which was bigger than it looks. It rained a few days and it was wonderful just to sit and listen to the rain plus watch the river. Definitely will be staying again soon. Thank you for sharing your beautiful cabin with us and our two pups.

Cabin was perfect for us! Morning coffee by the rushing stream with a Canada geese couple and their babies is a great way to start any day! We walked to the downtown very easily. You could see the care given by the little things done. The grass was freshly mowed and the pots of pansies and the iris were in bloom! We would certainly return to Granny’s riverside retreat!

Unexpectedly great cabin. Way better than expected. The brook and the setting was a joy. It was clean and just as you would want Granny’s place to be. Easy in and out and all the essentials. Didn’t use the hot tub but if you like that it is in the perfect place inside the screened porch. Great location near town but also secluded. Highly recommended.

Easy walk to everything in town. The river sounds block out the noise from town. Well stocked with towels and cooking equipment. Clean hot tub and wonderful wood fireplace. I’d stay here again for sure.

We absolutely loved our stay at this cozy cabin! The view was beautiful and hearing the water run over the rocks was so peaceful. The hot tub was fantastic and perfect with the view. The cabin is so cozy and makes you feel at home. The beds are super comfortable which is so nice when you are staying for long periods of time. Having the fireplace was the best!

This was our second visit to this cabin and we love it. The Christmas decorations around this area made this trip another wonderful memory for the books. Cozy cabin and love the river in the backyard. Excellent spot to make some family memories.

My girlfriends and I just loved Granny River Retreat! It is close enough to easily walk into Gatlinburg and very fun place on the river! The location was great! The property was very clean, the only issue and it wasn't a deal breaker was that the sofa had a bad smell to it which I am sure was due to it being a pet friendly cabin. Everything else was perfect!

This property is picture perfect and relaxing. Very clean and cozy. Sound of the water was so relaxing. Had a bear walk thru the backyard on the last day on his way to cross the creek. Couldn't ask for a better more relaxing stay.

We were very impressed with this quiant cabin. It is very cozy. It was the cleanest place I have ever stayed in. Sitting on the screened porch having coffee or a glass of wine listening to the river flowing over the rocks was so relaxing. We didn't want to leave. I am sure we will rent this lovely cabin again. We really enjoyed our stay.

I and my adult children and spouses thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It was clean and well stocked. The location is within walking distance to downtown Gatlinburg. The view of the river is relaxing, and we saw geese, a belted kingfisher and a small water snake sunning on a rock. I would recommend this cabin for a lovely getaway.

We enjoyed our spring break here! Enough room for a family of 4 and a dog. Our kids are older, so the spiral staircase wasn't bad, but with little ones, might be a little worried. Distance to town was great. An easy walk especially with all the traffic on the strip. Super relaxing on the screened in porch with the water sounds in the background. Would stay there again.

After a couple of bad experiences with Vrbo rentals I was about to swear off of Vrbo and use hotels but our experience in Gatlinburg was perfect. This cabin was rustic but very clean and comfortable. One problem I have seen with some Vrbo rentals is old uncomfortable mattresses and furniture and towels that looked like they were ready for the old rag drawer, Towels and linens looked new and furniture was very clean and comfortable. The sound of the rushing creak just outside the backdoor was also very relaxing. We actually wished we could stay another day or two but unfortunately the rental was already booked. We would love to come back and stay again.

This property was just as described! It was close to town but still felt private. You could see the traffic from the main highway into Gatlinburg while on the back porch, but the sounds of traffic were muted from the peaceful sounds of the river in the back. My 2 year old son came with us and luckily we brought a baby gate. The second floor would not be ideal for a toddler, and the baby gate came in handy to block off access to the spiral staircase on the bottom floor. This property felt cozy and was just what we were looking for on this vacation. 10/10, would recommend this property to anyone!!

We enjoyed our stay on the river! The cabin was clean, beds comfortable, and everything we might need was provided. The boys walked into town several times to do fun things, and we all enjoyed being right on the river and hearing the geese honking. The cabin is on a dead end road, so no traffic, and it was a very quiet, safe place. We were so grateful we could bring our dog!

Just loved the location, on the river but still close to everything. It’s an easy walk to most attractions. Enjoyed the evenings in the hot tub. I would recommend it.

The area was fine. Loved the location. The property was fine. My only issue is the spiral staircase. Difficult for carrying up luggage. We’re older and it was a challenge. We knew about the stairs but didn’t think it would be a problem. Not a lot of closet space. Good for younger group.
