Deep water dock directly on the Homosassa River in a No Wake zone. Also it is located 12 miles from World Woods Golf Club, Florida’s only 5 star public course.

First off, the hosts were very pleasant very responsive and easy to work with. I would book with them again. The property was larger than expected for the area. I was able to park my 4Runner and trailer there with ease and options. The boat dock was well placed and well maintained. The house had several coffee pots which was great because I am a drip coffee guy. There were 2 refrigerators and an ice machine across the main street. Restaurants upon restaurants that you can take the boat to or drive. The kitchen was full and clean. The seawall was lengthy and we saw a few manatees and lots of dolphins. The property is situated right across from the spring which was just a short boat ride. This place is awesome.

This house is a great location for spending time on the river. House is very well supplied with everything for a great stay. The dock was great for those bringing a boat. Home was very clean and owner was very responsive. Would absolutely stay here again.

Loved that the property was on the river. Had everything we needed. Didn't like the boat trailer parking. Our trailer got hit because we had to park so close to the road. It was further up the river in the slow zone that what I would have preferred. Overall we had a good time.

Great location on the river with a boat ramp 50 yards away to launch our 22' bay boat. The house is a bit dated so if you like fancy look elsewhere. We absolutely loved it because of the great back yard and back porch, the large dock and river view, and the boat ramp. We were rarely there except to sleep or shower, the rest of the time was spent on the boat at the springs or fishing out in gulf. If you bring a boat here, bring 100' of extension cord to plug in your battery chargers as there is no power on or near the dock.

If you want peace & relaxation , this is the place! Beautiful ,spacious home in quiet neighborhood.We had 4 adults (60+) and had more than enough space! Sitting on the screened in porch was great to watch the plentiful wildlife! Ray&Barb(owners) were easy to communicate with and were very accommodating. First time Hubby and I went kayaking! Super fun !Everthing you need is close by!

Had a great time in this beautiful home. The home owner was quick to respond to any questions and was available to text or call throughout our stay. The house has a dock large enough for our 24’ boat, and the open floor plan and living area was spacious. Fully furnished kitchen, three bedrooms and two bathrooms made our stay feel like a home away from home. Looking forward to coming back in the future.

The home is as advertised, simple, nothing spectacular but a great location, great price. Had to call a few times to get the door code but no biggie.Ray and Barbs expectations for house conditions upon check out are a little ridiculous. I understand that, no cleaning fee was charged, and rule is to "Clean as you found it." Before we checked out, we cleaned/wiped the home, placed all linens in washer machine. Clean the dishes, cleaned the backyard, return items to shelves. We did everything short of cutting the grass. But they found "poop on the floor" outside of the toilet. Yeah right. Supposedly they found trash on the floor. Yes I moved the furniture around a bit, it's not like I moved it across the house. I think in order to satisfy Ray and Barb, you better take pictures of everything in the house as you arrive. Make a comparisons before you leave. Because there's a good chance they will "say" something wasn't as you found it.

The view, the location couldn’t have been more beautiful. The house was very comfortable. Ray and Barb were the perfect hosts. We really enjoyed our visit and would most definitely recommend it and would book again. Loved our visit from Kevin every day. The neighbors were great 😊 thank you

If you want fancy and up to date things, this is not it. If you want a spacious home in a perfect location, you've found it! We had lots of friends staying at Seagrass so we were able to walk back and forth. Kids loved catching crabs and kayaking to springs. Swimming right behind the house with warmer water is also a plus! Would def book again.

Great location, close to the Springs. Loved that we had heron visitors and enjoyed meeting Gary and Kevin! We had a beautiful day to take the kayaks out for some exploring. Kitchen was well stocked and the beds were comfortable. We especially enjoyed the view from the screened porch and big living room window.

We had two great weeks at this property (minus one day that was a wash due to Tropical Storm Nicole!). Great location on the river, very nice to have the dock for our boat and kayaks to use and take a nice paddle to see the manatees by the springs. The no wake zone meant no zooming boats and made for a quieter stay (there was the occasional loud music on the weekend, but not enough to be annoying). An easy drive into Crystal Springs for more dining options. The house was older with older furnishings, but fine for a vacation stay. The owner was extremely responsive to questions and made sure any issues were addressed quickly. I would recommend this property.

First of all, communication with the owners was extremely easy and timely, to include day of check in questions answered with no delay! The rental is located on the river with a great dock and view and private boat ramp just a stones throw away. The home is huge and has everything you need for a relaxing vacation. We would definitely stay here again next scallop season!

Best location on the river!
In the 15 years we have been coming to Homosassa, we have rented a different home each time and this home had the best location of all! I loved the outdoor area and porch and it was so nice and peaceful. The home had everything we needed and was clean and comfortable. The only issue we had was having such a big vehicles and a trailer and there wasn’t alot of space for parking or maneuvering in the small street. My daughter and her fiancé were staying at a place the next street over from the neighborhood and we just walked to each other‘s houses. Overall though your home is great! We had a wonderful time and I would love to stay here again.

The most incredible place! Animal lovers paradise!
I have been looking for a place like this for years! I’ve stayed at properties that stated “ abundant wildlife”, but I’ve always disappointed. This place is an animal lovers paradise! First off the birds are so friendly its really fun to watch them! I could not believe how many manatees we saw! I saw them all the time, mama and baby included! One even swam right up to me (on the dock) and rolled on his back like he wanted a belly rub! We saw a few dolphins too, one even swam right under the dock. It was truly paradise, I was seriously in HEAVEN! The house was clean and comfy I would go back in a heartbeat!

Week of Fishing
This property was just as expected. We had 5 of us and we managed very well. The home is bigger than it looks in the pics and has everything you can think of. The views from the home were great and the area is quiet and peaceful. The Great Blue Heron was cool to watch as he ate a fish in front of us. Overall our stay was top notch and Ray and Barb are great host and took great care of us and were kind enough to allow us use of there home for the week. Would definitely stay their again.

We enjoyed every minute of our stay here. Perfect location, very clean, and just an overall wonderful place. We sat out on the deck enjoyed watching the boats go by during the day. The quiet mornings out on the dock watching the sun rise was so peaceful and relaxing. The first morning we were there I spent a few hours out on the dock just watching the sun rise and to my surprise, I had several Manatee visitors swim right under the dock. Made my day!!! We enjoyed the area, swam with the manatees, went on an air boat ride out to the Gulf and visited the Homosassa Wildlife Park. Wish we had more time to explore more but gives me an excuse to plan another trip down there. Thank you for sharing your home with our family. It's definitely a slice of heaven!!!

Awesome view
This place is perfect if you love views of the lake! The inside is older and not updated but was clean and we were there to be outdoors so it was fine for us. We spent time relaxing outside and watching the boats, we rented a boat and searched for manatees and we fed the visiting birds! The neighbors did play music almost every morning and our last evening which tainted the overall relaxing vibe. I contacted the owners and they said they would address it with them. Other than that, the location is great! It was a nice getaway for our family and the perfect spot to enjoy the outdoors!

This place felt like I was visiting my family's river house. Very homely and welcoming. Nothing over-the-top fancy, but still fully equipped for extended stays. The pictures in the listing truly do not do this place justice. You can spend the entire day just sitting on the dock watching the boats and kayaks. Maybe seeing an occasional dolphin or manatee pass close by. Boating up to the springs to watch the manatees, and down the river to see monkey island and all the land that is still "old Florida" was definitely a crowd pleaser. If you don't feel like cooking, there's plenty of great local eateries to venture out to for lunch and/or dinner! Definitely add this place to your ❤ list!!
