About this house rental

This beach getaway has everything you'll need to enjoy your weekend with 2 bedrooms downstairs, one upstairs, a fantastic ocean view and a romantic fireplace in the living room. The master bedroom upstairs, comes with a Cal-King bed and full bath. The downstairs bedrooms include a queen bed and twin beds. All bedrooms are furnished with flat-screened TVs and DVDs, so bring your favorite movie.

Upstairs you will find the living room, dining room and kitchen all connected and opening onto the upstairs deck. On the deck, you can enjoy a 180 degree view of the ocean and Morro Rock. While you wait for dinner to be done on the deck BBQ you can snuggle in front of the romantic fireplace and watch the 42'' flat-screen TV. The kitchen comes completely stocked with everything you need to prepare breakfast, lunch or dinner.

Laundry facilities are located downstairs. The garage gives you off street parking with plenty of room for your bikes & the kids toys.

This home is only minutes from both the beach and the Embarcadero. Or you can head east on Hwy 1 and in 20 minutes you will be in downtown San Luis Obispo, a place noted for it's restaurants and great shopping.

When you are ready to relax after a busy day of sightseeing or playing at the beach, grab your favorite drink, head to the deck and watch the beautiful sunset. This beach house is the perfect weekend getaway.

This property is centrally located in Morro Bay, close to everything on the central coast. About 1.5 miles from the downtown area and everything about the place was awesome. This rental really fit our need both to save some cash by cooking and grilling as well as very comfortable beds and great living and dining rooms. It's very spacious and 3 bathrooms were a bonus. Thanks so much Betty !!!!

This was such a nice escape for us during our trip to the Central Coast to visit family and celebrate my mom's 70th birthday. The celebrations were in downtown SLO, but we opted for this Morro Bay gem in order to breathe in the ocean air and avoid the rodeo crowds that weekend. The view from this house was STUNNING. We were so pleased with how well-stocked everything was and how CLEAN everything was, and what a large space it was in general. Honestly we wished we had used this as more than just a place to sleep and chill in our downtime-- it would have made for such a good celebration destination. Thanks for such a memorable stay!

Lovely spacious upstairs with living dining and kitchen (well furnished) and master suite. (Two bedrooms and bath downstairs) one car garage attached to house. Our son and wife and children stayed in the house and we met there for a family reunion. Very comfortable. Very clean. Nice deck with view of ocean and rock. Close to town and to waterfront and beach. Quiet neighborhood and near grocery market. Big windows frames a great view. We happened to check in on a rare hot day in Morro bay and with the huge windows facing west it was very warm inside when we arrived. Perhaps on those unusual warm days the housecleaners could leave the blinds down on the west. We were happy that the house is furnished with several fans. Also pleased that the house had such a clean uncluttered presentation and yet had helpful features such as games and barbecue and boogie boards which our little boys used for the first time! Despite a couple of warm days (it cooled off the last two days) we really enjoyed this house - had a fabulous family weekend - and highly recommend this home and appreciate the welcoming and friendly host.

This home was wonderful. We’ve stayed at several places in Morro Bay and on the beach in Cayucos. This home was the most comfortable for a relaxing stay. Large great room with view of the ocean, Morro Rock and three stacks. The first place I’ll look for when returning.

This was our first time at this house. It was all that we hoped for. Beautiful home, good location. Loved that tv's were in all the rooms. That was a big plus!! Owners were very nice and accommodating. Would defiantly stay there again.

We had a great time staying in your home while attending our daughters graduation from Cal Poly! The house was a perfect place for us to have great family time. Having the garage was a bonus as we were able to pack up my daughters belongings and pull our truck into the garage safe and sound! Thank you for opening up your home to us.

Fantastic find! The online photos don’t do the house justice. The inside is bright and spacious. My family of five was incredibly comfortable with lots of space to relax. We used this home for a week as our home base while we explored every town from San Simeon to Pismo. The house was clean and kitchen was stocked with all the dishware and cooking items needed. The BBQ was easy to use as well. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking to stay on the central coast.

Stayed during Thanksgiving weekend. We ate dinner at the large dining room table overlooking an amazing sunset!. LOVE the large picture windows! The house was very clean and supplied anything you would need for cooking. Hot tub was clean and ready to go. Would love to make it a yearly trip! Susan Roach

Our family of 6 thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It was clean, spacious, and exactly as represented. The view from the deck was fabulous! One teensy bit of constructive feedback I might offer was that the twin beds were found to be a bit hard and quite noisy/squeeky when folks moved about during the night. Light (or sensitive) sleepers beware :-) Other than that, this is a wonderful place to visit (and the other beds were super comfy.)

Thank you so much for the amazing view, amazing home and hospitality. Easy check in, easy clean up, easy instructions available for everything, and just a simply great home. Spa at night with the stars was peaceful; balcony and couch great for a quiet morning read with a view and kitchen fully equipped to whip up some crab cakes and more great seafood. Def top tier. The property was wonderful, with gorgeous views of the rock and ocean and very clean. Unforetunately, we will not be staying there again because the stars are too difficult to navigate with our mobility issues. We will just have to rent a single story place in the future.

Great place, well equipped kitchen, beautiful view. Do be aware that there are a lot of stairs to get up to the main floor, especially for older folks. Nice side yard with a hot tub. The garage is available to park in which is a nice plus.

The house was very clean and spacious. Kitchen was fully stocked for cooking, beds were comfortable, plenty of blankets and towels. Nice selection of DVD movies to watch as well as table games to play. The hot tub was nice and clean. We could see the ocean waves from the second floor. Overall a lovely home and hope to stay again when we return to Morro Bay. Thank you to the owners for sharing your home with our family.

We all loved staying at this property. The house was very comfortable, nicely decorated, and had a great view of Morro Rock and the ocean. There were very clear instructions for the house and what was expected of us as guests. We would definitely recommend this house and will keep it in mind for return trips to the area. Morro Bay is a sleepy beach town, just what we were looking for. The house is spacious, clean and has plenty of natural lighting, and a great supply of towels and bedding. It looks like they changed out the couch from what's in the pictures. The new couch was huge and super comfortable. The area is a bit interesting. It's an older neighborhood, a lot of houses were being worked on and the one next door appears to be abandoned. It still felt safe and we walked the neighborhood every day. Something to be aware of; if you are planning on working or streaming anything (zoom meetings!), you need to bring a mobile hot spot. The wifi is SLOW! We had three adults working part of the time and one kid in virtual school. We had to run out and get a mobile hotspot or it wouldn't have happened.

We are from So Cal and our family very much enjoyed our stay at this property in Morro Bay. The house suited us perfectly and the ocean view was super nice. The area is beautiful for scenic drives and quaint stores. Accessing the home was easy, the beds were comfortable, and the hot tub was nice and clean (we are picky about that!). The best thing about this house is the view. The location wasn't bad but a little far from everything. If you want to use the hot tub, turn it on WAY in advance as it takes forever to heat up. The stairs are VERY squeaky and everything going on upstairs can be heard in the downstairs bedrooms (talking, walking, flushing) so if you're a light sleeper, take the upstairs bedroom. The house seemed overall fairly clean but the master toilet was for sure not cleaned well and the kitchen had a greasy stove, dirty coffee pot and the dishes/silverware weren't that great so we washed everything before we felt comfortable using it. Again, it was a nice house with a great view, just a few things that were unfortunate.
