We spent two weeks at this cabin with family, enjoying the surrounding mountains, spending afternoons on the deck, and going on hikes in the area. This was the perfect home base for us and had everything we needed and more. The host was so communicative and answered any questions we had quickly. We would happily stay here again!

Loved our time at this mountain retreat. Our group consisted of three couples and no children. The host was exceptionally communicative throughout our reservation process and stay. We had a couple of questions prior to checking in and they always responded within the hour. The house was very clean and abundantly appointed with glassware, dishes and all utensils needed to prepare our meals and beverages. The kitchen area was smaller than we anticipated and was a little cramped for six adults (particularly since you have to pass through the kitchen to exit the house) but we made it work without any difficulty. The house is very close to the Sunrise entrance to the Mt. Rainier National Park. Highly recommend a visit. Don’t forget the required prearranged reservation pass. When exiting the park we saw a couple of cars who were denied entrance because they didn’t have a timed entrance reservation. Only $2 online at the nps website. We were visited daily by elk, either walking the banks of the White River, or passing directly through the front yard. Be sure to visit the community of Greenwater. Ice cream, beer, fun! It was very warm during our stay and the house stayed very comfortable as long as you closed up all windows and skylights before the late morning heat arrived. There are no river views from inside the house so we spent as much time as possible on the back deck enjoying the sights and sounds of the White River. We highly recommend this house. We will be back!

This must be what heaven is like. Serene and beautiful. Birds flying over pine tree tops, deer drinking from the river while you listen to the river flow. The smell of smoke coming from the chimney. We are in love with this space. Spacious and has all the necessities.

Our multigenerational family group thoroughly enjoyed our visit. The house was exactly as advertised and is a great location for visiting the mountain. We especially loved hanging out on the deck watching elk wander by.

This property is very nice. We had 2 babies (under 1), two small children and 6 adults. It was cozy, especially in the kitchen, but we had a wonderful time. There's lots of extras in the kitchen (seasonings, hot cocoa, baking supplies). AND there's an extra fridge/freezer in the garage. The kids loved the outdoor play structure. We really enjoyed the serenity of the White river, close enough to hear, but no danger of anyone falling in. The view from the upstairs is amazing! Loved this place!

The location is wonderfully secluded. The wildlife and river are beautiful. The play set and outdoor toys are a major asset to have for the littles. There are plenty of dishes and spices and extras. The host even had a small cooler for us to use, which was really nice for day trips with young children. The children’s playroom is wonderful and well stocked. The grill was nice as well. The home is spacious and worked well for our family! The master bath isn’t really functional as a ‘full’ bath since a small child cannot stand up in it, but we used the shower on the main floor. The home needs a good deep clean; it was pretty dusty, even the floors and surfaces of furniture. There were lots of cobwebs everywhere, hair in the bathtub drain (not ours) and the bathrooms need to be fully stocked with towels and washcloths so guests don’t have to go track them down. We pulled dirty dishes from cabinets and there was laundry in the dryer, in front of the dryer in baskets and on top of the washer and dryer. Not sure if we were between seasons or if the home hadn’t been stayed in for awhile. We enjoyed our stay but would recommend a DEEP clean before next guest. The quiet neighborhood was glorious! The views from the decks are spectacular. We loved the large recycling bins on site too. It is close to several places to take hikes with beginner hikers or small children. A great place to relax, unwind and spend some very quiet and peaceful time away!

First time at this property. It is in a great location and beautiful view of the white river. My son found the Sand bar on the river to be a great place to Propose to his girlfriend ( she said yes ). We had plenty of room for all 10 of us. Highly recommend.
