About this villa rental
Aruba Villa Tropical is described by many travelers as well as locals as the premier vacation rental property on the island. This home is fully air-conditioned and privately situated on nearly three acres of gardens and fruit trees to enjoy. Our location is very private with only one neighboring home. Features include a European style gourmet kitchen, 5 air-conditioned bedrooms, a private natural stone pool and waterfall surrounded by mature garden, a regulation sized beach sand volleyball court, entertainment gazebos, ping-pong, foosball and other games. Enjoy the day sunbathing by the pool on the comfortable lounge furniture. Listen to the tropical birds while you admire the fantastic ocean sunsets from the infinity hot-tub or from the large palapa gazebos while you and your family enjoy an evening meal. The home in equipped with new smart TV's in every bedroom along with Apple TV streaming devices and Sonos sound-bars and speakers throughout the home as well as a brand new smart tv/Sonos sound-bar outside on the terrace.
In our lower garden we have an amazing orchard that is always producing mango, papaya, coconut, lime, nipper, starfruit, banana, as well as other fruits. Our guests are welcome to consume as much as they would like.
The large master has a king sized bed, walk in closet, dual walk in shower. Two bedrooms have queen sized beds and a shared continental bath. The office/bedroom has a Queen bed and private bath. A smaller bedroom has a queen bed as well as private bath. The layout of the home has two bedrooms on one side of the house and three bedrooms on the other side. It is very accommodating for two entire families or up to 5 couples with this arrangement with the kitchen and high ceiling living areas in the middle of the home.
We provide a limited supply of beach chairs, beach towels, beach toys and portable coolers for guest use at the beach.
We have modified our cleaning fee to only include the move-out cleaning and to keep costs the most economical as possible. Daily or other scheduled housekeeping can be arranged prior or upon your arrival. Our co-host and concierge Kathy will contact you shortly after your booking to inform you of the various services available including spa services, private chef services, excursions, rental car, party/wedding planning, housekeeping, and dinner reservations.
We have been kicking it in Aruba since 1999 and have put our love into this home. We spend 30-60 days each year here and are constantly maintaining and updating this wonderful home and grounds. Parties, weddings and other events are permitted but only upon approval and additional cost. Most events have a charge of $1500.00.

This property is truly amazing! We spent our entire week lounging around the pool, the hot tub and under the shaded gazebos. What a relaxing time. Can’t wait to schedule our return trip!

6 adults stayed for 7 nights. There was plenty of room and online pictures are very accurate. The planning, arrival, stay and departure were great from concierge to airport transportation. I would highly recommend this Villa. Plenty of games, like billiards, darts and volleyball to keep everyone busy.

20th Anniversary Trip and Vow Renewal
When my wife and I came to Aruba on our honeymoon 20 years ago, we vowed to bring our children back with us. We'll, we did just that and decided to bring other family and friends and needed a big place to handle our crew. Villa Tropical fit the bill very well.
Kurt the owner was very pleasant and helpful to work with. He put us in touch with our concierge Kathy whom I can't say enough good things about. She's family now. She was able to help us out in several areas of our trip including connecting us with Donna our vow renewal planner and coordinator. Renewal ceremony was more than we could've hoped for down to every detail.
The house and grounds were gorgeous. Well kept and the space fit our crew well. We were able to spread out and not feel cramped. The pool was fantastic and we all found our favorite areas to hang out.
Location of the house was great also. Very short drives to stores, and Palm and Eagle beaches.
Overall I can't say enough good things... was it perfect? No. As with any heavily used property there are always little things, but none that really negatively affected our experience there at all and were addressed quickly. Everything was clean and ready to go for us when we arrived.

We rented February 2020 for 5 days. Did to the house description and pictures posted we decided to not get a hotel on the beach and rent this for a family. BIG mistake. The description says “3 mins from beach, beach views, very private property “. Not one of those statements are true. There is nothing private about the property. It’s off a run down side road which anyone can access. No gates, nothing. It’s a 10 minute drive to the beach without traffic and there is definitely city views, zero beach views. However those wearnt the major issues. The first day we go out to the pool and all a sudden 2 stray dogs come over and scare the crap out of my sister and kids. (I have pictures). The backyard has a lot of junk around and mosquitoes are plentiful. The house inside is dated and 2 bathrooms showers are awful. The beds are very uncomfortable and good luck sleeping in with the lack of blackout shades , dogs barking and even roosters. We pre paid for a cook to cook the first night and he was great. Unfortunately with the house and dogs we changed our itinerary and bought day passes to the Riu to get away. It’s a house if you want to party with a lot of friends. No luxury whatsoever even though it’s claimed to be a top ten house in Aruba. LOL. I don’t wanna see house #11 then! Javier is the keeper and nice but comes and goes whenever he wants and speaks very limited English. Again no privacy. One day the girls took our car to the beach, I stayed behind. All a sudden there are 5 complete strangers with Javier in the kitchen and living, backyard for a house tour!! Unacceptable. No notice or anything. Our valuables were on counters and again no privacy. Nothing was stolen but I was in shock you pay high dollar for a house and strangers come inside. I told the owner all this and unfortunately he makes excuses or just denies things. There is black mold in the guest bathroom and a lot on the outside patio. (I have pics). Do yourself a favor and rent a hotel on the beach. It will be cheaper, a lot better accommodations and most importantly safer. Others need to know the truth. I wish we did!

We really enjoyed the house with our family! House was plenty big for our family that visited. House was clean and everything we needed. We all had a super great trip! We had Diego cook us dinner and it was FANTASTIC!

Great view for New Years Eve Fireworks!
Way are a family of nine and went to celebrate 2020. The house sits up on a hill and we were able to see more fireworks thing you can ever imagine on both sides of the island. We also had a birthday celebration and Diego made us the most incredible meal and served us outside under the gazebo. It was our favorite meal while on vacation. The pool is beautiful and refreshing and they keep it super clean. There are waterfalls coming down into the pool and it is just so relaxing. We enjoyed the home very much. Thank you!

After calling the owner we found out that there had been a wedding there and Javier was in the mists of cleaning up. He assured us that it was not always like that and it would be addressed. In half hour, there were people cleaning the grounds and helping Javier fix the hot tub. The gardens were in bloom and the birds were great to watch. The little lizards kept my grandson busy all day. The pool was amazing after a hot day at the beach. The house is in a central location, so you could head to a different beach every day, and one of the main food stores is two mins away by car. It was great to have washer and dryer at the house as well. The stereo both by the outdoor table and pool table worked great. We would recommend this villa to any large family. It had plenty of room both inside and out to enjoy. Thank you Kurt and Javier for a great vacation.

Beautiful house, great view and everything you need! Plenty of space and plenty of things to do. The caretakers of the property were great and very accommodating with anything you would need. I highly recommend staying here!

great place at a good price that will accomidate 11 people
very pretty house and plenty of activities around to keep a group entertained. Kurt allowed my group to check in early which was nice. Grocery store is within walking distance which is a plus. Javier is next store and responded to any issues or request we needed to make our stay better.
I am in the electrical construction field and I saw some minor issues to which Kurt/Javier responed to right away!! I do recommend this house to anyone!!

The highlight of the house is truly the amazing backyard, pool and cabana!
Our family of 11 (ages ranging from 10 to 84) stayed the week before Easter. I've been travelling to Aruba for about 30 years and have always stayed in a hotel or my timeshare but this year couldn't get enough rooms for our large group. So we rented the house this time instead. The best part was that we had the gorgeous yard and pool to all be together over morning coffee and evenings in the pool or relaxing under the cabana. Kurt has the yard wired with a great sound system so we had music playing all the time. There is even a Smart TV outside under the main cabana and we were able to log into our MLB app and watch the Yankee games outside at night.
We did an "early" Easter for the kids complete with an egg hunt which was a lot of fun. The kitchen has everything you need and we also used the outdoor grill quite a bit. The only item I would say that needs some work is that one side of the house does not get good hot water in the bathrooms. We ended up using the master bath for most of us and this was only a challenge on nights where we were going out for dinner and had reservations to make. Kurt, the owner, is in constant contact and very easy to reach and Javier is just wonderful. We didn't have too may items to raise to him, but when we did he was there in an instant. We went to the beach a few days and it is just a 5 minute drive. I would probably recommend that they get a few more beach towels and chairs to use at the beach (the kind that you can lay down on)….but these are minor things. We had fun watching the baby chickens and got used to our morning "alarm clock" of the roosters crowing. They are a riot to watch!

Family Fun Pad
To celebrate our 50th anniversary our extended family of 11 adults and 1 child stayed at this tropical villa. The villa allowed privacy for all of us with its five secluded bedrooms. The outdoor space was exceptional. We spent many hours in the pool, enjoyed the outdoor speakers, volleyball area, hot tub, and large table under the palapa. The outdoor camp chairs were great. We took them to Aruba's wonderful beaches with us every day. Grocery stores, restaurants, beaches, and St Anna Catholic Church were only a short drive away. Javier, the property manager, was onsite upon our arrival to greet us and show us around. Javier and Diego prepared food for us twice. The Latin barbecue and three types of ceviche were fabulous. They also handled the clean up afterwards. We enjoyed picking lemons from the fruit tree on the property for our tropical drinks. Owner Kurt answered all of our questions and checked in with us during our stay.
Some things that would make the villa even better would be vinyl bath mats for the tile showers, as these can be slippery. This is not a problem if you were waterproof sandals in the shower. We would have preferred stainless steel cookware but managed with the non stick utensils provided. The ice dispenser could not keep up to our use. An additional ice maker would be nice for a large group, but nearby stores have plenty of ice. If we return to Aruba as a large group, we would love to stay here again!

One of the Nicest Homes On the Island
This home is everything advertised and more! We had local friends come over and all of them complimented the house and said it was one of the nicest they’d seen on the island. You truly can’t beat the outdoor amentities that this home has to offer. Our group of 10 enjoyed the jacuzzi, pool, cabanas, darts, ping pong, and billiards. There was even one day where we didn’t leave the house because there was so much to do there! Kurt and Javier were great and helped us through the entire process. I had visited Aruba before and stayed at a hotel, which was fine but our stay at this home made the trip 10x better. We hope to return to this house again soon, because there is no better way to vacation in Aruba.

Simply the Best....
Our stay at Tropical Villa was in one word - OUTSTANDING!!! The experience far exceeded our expectations and we definitely look forward to a return to our own “private paradise”. Can’t wait to share our experience with family and friends as well. The groundskeeper Javier was very accommodating to our needs and truly an asset to all of us. Amazing home with a great view and great hospitality
First when we got to the place we was greeted with help that showed us our rooms and then they even cooked us dinner the first night. They had great load speakers right next to the pool and Volleyball nets and even pool tables, that gave us plenty of entertainment that we didnt even have to leave the Villa. The staff told us great beaches and resturants to go to. I am definitely coming back and staying at this Villa again.

Heaven on earth
First time to Aruba and i’m speechless with how beautiful everything is. Our group stayed in one of the most beautiful rentals we have stayed at. It was spacious, clean, close to the ocean and near by downtown which was helpful! This rental was perfect for outdoor entertainment also!! The host was very helpful letting us know what was going on every night knowing we are a fun group that enjoys a night out. This rental has outdoor speakers, pool, pool table, tv’s in every room.. it’s a MUST!

An Island Oasis.
We’ve just returned from our Aruban Vacation. The Villa Tropical was the absolutely perfect venue. From the spacious house with loads of common space, to the outside areas with plenty of room to either relax around the pool/hot tub or play any number of games from ping pong, to pool, to beach volley ball. The kitchen is well stocked. It’s perfect for cooking big meals while having enough space for people to hang out and keep you company. We also found the garage to be a perfect space for all our kite surfing gear. The extra fridge in the garage was crucial for keeping our beverages super cold and a back up supply of ice ready to go!
The house manager, Javier, was always present and extremely helpful. The gardens he maintains around the property make you feel like you are on your very own tropical island. From pineapple plants to the little green hummingbirds and parakeets, the flora and birds add to the charm of this oasis on the island.
I recommend this house for families, larges groups of friends/couples/kiters who want their very own oasis on the island.

Gorgeous house perfect for our Aruba vacation!
This house was perfect for our stay - we loved the large kitchen and dining outside under the palapa. Being close to the beaches and restaurants was a plus, everything we wanted to do was close. We had the privacy to play music and swim in the pool any time of the day. Aruba was good to us this visit and we can't wait to come back next year!

AHHH-MAZING!!
Had an amazing time! This was my first time to Aruba, and the house was perfect!. It was centrally located to all the things we did, and it offered tons of amenities so that we didn’t feel like we had to leave to do anything.
Really close to Palm Beach area and an amazing upscale restaurant called Madame Janette’s.
Played ping pong most nights, had its own pool, hot tub and beach volleyball.
Spacious with two indoor living areas, five bedrooms with their own baths (one jack and jill), and large kitchen, so we could cook meals and eat in rather than eating out all the time.
Perfect for extended family vacay or group of friends.
I would definitely recommend it!!!

This property has anything you could want while in Aruba! The layout of the house is perfect for anyone wanting to get away with a large group of friends, a family gathering or a special event on the island. The spacious kitchen opens onto one of the two living areas and is fully operational if you want to do most of your meals onsite. It’s also perfectly located so that it’s only a 5-10 minute drive from the main Palm Beach area.
This house is in great shape with plenty of amenities and activities for everyone including a private pool & jacuzzi, two outdoor eating areas, a ping-pong table and much more.
The owner is amazing and super responsive… anything you need, he can either make it happen or give you great recommendations. This property was worth the value. I would highly recommend it and would definitely stay here again!

This villa is the perfect island get away to stay at in Aruba. It is perfectly situated in the middle of the island where we were a short drive away from the beach and the local grocery store. The backyard houses a variety of activities to do during your free time including a pool, hot tub, ping pong table, bar, and various other games for adults and young children to enjoy. Overall the villa is a large, clean, and quiet home that feels safe and comes with all the amenities you need on your trip with household items already provided such as kitchen utensils, towels, and more. Stay at this home and you're sure to enjoy your time in Aruba.

The house was as advertised, perhaps showing a little better in pictures than reality.
It did sleep our party of 9 comfortably with room for more. The pool and hot tub were great.
We used the grill and kitchen to cook and save money as Aruba is expensive for the day to day living and going out each day was not an option.
The property did provide ample towels, linens, pots, pans, silverware, appliances, ice to keep all happy. The laundry facility was convenient to have on site. At each days end, all were happy, the trip a success.
Javier was helpful when we needed advice or a hand.
I would recommend others.

We had an amazing time at Aruba Villa Tropical! It is a beautiful house on a beautiful island! The house was amazing, comfortable and and Javier was extremely accommodating. The location is perfect and allows easy access for a day at the beach, a night out, or a jaunt around the island. Hanging poolside and in the hot tub was wonderfully relaxing! I highly recommend having dinner cooked and served under the poolside gazebo (ask for the fish stew, it is AMAZING!).

What can I say about this property other than WOW! It was my and 10 other's first time to Aruba, and we couldn't have picked a more perfect place. Not only was the property beautiful, there was so much to do around the villa, we didn't want to leave. The location is great too! We were close to everything from the big grocery store with all that you need inside, to the beaches, nightlife, and the casinos. Everything was within driving distance. The house was fully stocked with all your normal utensils, and Javier was awesome! He was always available for us when we needed him and he even cooked for us! Yummy!!! Kurt, as the owner of this beautiful place, you should be very proud. We will be coming back! Thank you!

First time to ARUBA and I will be going back. You can drink the water right from the tap. How great is that for an island. The owner was great to deal with. This house was everything he said it was. What you see in their photos is what your getting. House is on a hill with a beautiful view of the RIU Palace on Palm Beach. 5 minutes from a large grocery store. 10 to 15 minutes from everywhere. Unless you are in a all inclusive resort a car rental is a necessity. We had plenty of room with 7 adults and 2 children. Javier was very helpful when needed. House is very private. Backyard pool area Pool area was absolutely incredible. Thank you Kurt and Javier for this great experience.

Myself and 6 of my girlfriends stayed at this property the end of March 2015 for a week. The house and property is beautiful and close to most everything. I am planning my nest trip as I type. Aruba is beautiful!!!

Had an amazing time! Beautiful house and beautiful island! The house was very comfortable and and Javier was extremely accommodating. It is a perfect location that easily allows for a day at the beach, a dinner out, or a tour of the island. Although some poolside down time was enjoyed by all! This visit was an adults only couples trip but my husband and I will certainly be returning with our 6 children the next time.

i was very lucky to have been able to rent this house on New Year. I gathered my family of 10 and we spent wonderful days in Aruba. What I liked most was the "super" Gas Grill! Beaches and restaurants few minutes from the house. Javier was very helpful. Garden and the view are amazing. New Year fireworks were a spectacle. I recommend the house for families with young children

This is our 3rd stay at the Villa. In addition to a lushly landscaped pool with waterfall, a hot tub with spectacular sunset views, an outdoor Gazebo with dining accommodations, full sized gas grill and sound system…many new improvements have been added…a fabulous new kitchen, flat screen TVs in all bedrooms, volley ball court, lower level cabana and bar with pool table, ping pong table, corn hole setup, and more. Love having family and relatives at "our" home away from home. We can hang out anytime we want indoors or out, cook food, mix drinks, watch movies…then head out for Eagle Beach, Arashi Beach or Palm Beach for the afternoon (5-10 minute drive)…or slip out for dinner at any number of truly great restaurants usually a 10 minute drive away. This is the way to go if you want to experience Aruba in luxury and style with a casual and relaxed atmosphere. The Villa grounds occupy several acres is located on elevated land, so the view from the pool and hot tub gives you a spectacular view of the ocean and hotel lights at night a few miles in the distance. Sunsets are a must from the hot tub! When you first enter the Villa, you will say "wow!" to the spacious interior and architecture of the main Living, Kitchen and Family rooms. Just outside the rear sliding glass doors is a large patio area, the pool, gazebo and hot tub…all surrounded with hundreds of lush tropical plants, shrubs and palm trees. Descend the wide deck steps to a whole new level featuring a large cabana with bar, pool table and a full sized volley ball court. Oh yeah, I think there's an orchard down there as well! Can't say enough about the Aruba Villa Tropical…have recommended it to many friends. Enjoy!
