Start your day with a killer espresso at Java Earth or Second Nature Cafe just a short 10 minute walk away then continue on another half mile to Tourmaline Surf Park beach to catch your morning set (Wavestorm boards provided if you don't bring your own ride). Or maybe you prefer a leisurely stroll through the charming Birdrock area of La Jolla, also just a short one mile walk/bike ride away. So much to choose from just minutes from this beautiful and beautifully situated vacation home.
Our 2,200 sq ft, 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath home features two expansive decks with amazing views of the surrounding area so you may not even want to venture out. Decorated in a contemporary style, no detail has been left to chance. The main 700 sq ft deck is perfect for entertaining and features very comfortable furniture, stone dining table with seating for six, a high end natural gas Dacor grill, pyramid patio heater and a natural gas fire table for those cooler, San Diego evenings. Challenge your family members to a game of table tennis on our Kettler aluminum ping pong table or Harvard foosball table. Step inside the slider to our large living room with hardwood floors, large sofa with chaise lounge and 75" 4K Google HDTV.
Our spacious dining area merges seamlessly with our living room for an open, great room feel, and provides ample seating for dining in. The kitchen features all stainless steel appliances and is fully stocked with everything you could need for your stay. A powder room and laundry area full size washer and dryer toward the front of the house rounds out the downstairs living area.
Upstairs you will find a massive, 300 sqft primary bedroom suite with its own private, 250 sqft balcony with even better views of the coastline, bay, and cityscape. Stylishly decorated and furnished with a king size bed, this space is a true sanctuary. The primary bathroom features dual vanities, shower over tub and a primping area. Down the hall toward the front of the house, two additional bedrooms share the 3rd bathroom with walk-in shower. The first bedroom sports a Serta Posturepedic queen bed, while the slightly larger, 3rd bedroom at the front of the house is furnished with 2 double size beds. The house comfortably sleeps 6-8 guests. All bedrooms are equipped with HDTVs with Roku streaming devices.
In the garage we have all manner of toys for your visit, including the aforementioned 8' Wavestorm surf board, a larger 10 ft Surftec Tuflite epoxy longboard, a 5' Sushi surfboard, boogie boards, Tommy Bahama beach chairs, beach umbrellas, coolers, Frisbees and beach bags with sand play items for the little ones. You can optionally rent our 6 cruiser bicycles to cruise the town in style.

Walkway is large slabs and first 3 are all different heights,almost fell. Patio furniture coverings dirty, owner came cleaned them,underneath chairs too dirty to sit in.Al rag on the plastic table was just that.yuk Few pots,pans, no Kuergic coffee pot or coffee.Couldn't turn on shower in either place. Owner had to come and show us.I am 86 and own many properties and these faucets were weird. Dangerous to get out of the drive, large bush obscured and it is on top of a hill. We shall not return.

This property is perfect for a family trip or fun weekend stay. Located in North Pacific beach, you’re just a walk or quick drive away to restaurants, stores and shops! The neighborhood is quiet and the a house has a gorgeous view from the first level patio and second level patio. Plenty of space for relaxing or activities. Very friendly owners and great communication.

House had great views in a nice area. We stayed with our kids and grand kids. Loved the ping pong and house was well equipped with games, beach supplies and was very spacious. We love the outdoor decks and would watch the fireworks from the top deck every night with our grandkids which was nice! House is close to La Jolla and pacific beach and LEGOLAND was just a short drive. We did run out of things early in our stay, paper towels, trash bags, tp, dishwasher soap. Very minimum was put out, however this was fixed quickly by owner

We had a great stay while our home was being remodeled. Loved the property; found it to be everything that was advertised. It was very clean and well stocked. The neighborhood is very quiet. The double deck space is an added bonus. Drew is very easy to work with and extremely responsive. I would highly recommend the property.

Our family of 5 including 2 teens and my father-in-law enjoyed our Thanksgiving at San Diego Vista. My communications with Drew leading up to and during the stay were really clear, timely and helpful. The property itself is in an amazing location - we rented the house bikes and could bike to the beach boardwalk and restaurants and shops, and we could easily get to grocery shopping and adventures including a UCSD visit, a hike in Cardiff and beach at Torrey Pines. The decks had beautiful views and comfortable furniture, plus firepit to warm up on the cooler days, and the windows showed off the views and opened up completely for indoor/outdoor living. The kitchen was well stocked with all we needed to cook a simple Thanksgiving dinner, and it was great to have the beach chairs and surfboards. Lastly, the beds were comfortable and the bedroom arrangement worked perfectly for our family - king in master, queen in room my father-in-law used, and 2 queens in the room our daughters shared. Would highly recommend!

This property lived up to the description and photos. It was clean, comfortable, and very homey. We were glad that the neighborhood was actually quiet at night, considering that the PB party scene is just a mile away. The beach gear was great and really convenient. Our favorite feature was the patio area, which we enjoyed first thing in the morning and in the evenings- beautiful views of Mission Bay and the ocean. I would definitely recommend this property!

Booked this to host my family as I live in a high rise downtown. The space was amazing! It was EXTREMELY quiet day and night which was pleasant but also a bit fearful to chat too much outside. Never saw anyone though. The house ran out of things I would have expected for a week stay so we had to buy extra toilet paper, paper towels, and trash bags but otherwise it was a lovely stay and easily accommodated us all. Very cozy. Thank you for opening your home to my family!

Coffee shops and the coast/ocean are in walking distance and La Jolla, Pacific Beach and San Diego are only short car rides away.

The house was perfect for our needs. Spacious bedrooms on the 2nd floor and amazing deck space and balconies with great view of Pacific Beach and ocean. The house came well-equipped for a 4 day stay - nice washer/dryer, nice gas fireplace, plenty of tvs for family and comfortable living rm. The kids favorite part was the garage with arcade games and foosball table. The provided beach chairs, beach toys, and boogy boards/surfboards were very convenient. The location is great bc we enjoyed that part of the city near La Jolla.

Wonderful house
The house was wonderful. Plenty of room for 7 people. The house was very clean and nicely equipped. Extra star for all the beach gear in the garage - there is something for everybody from small children to adults.
And of course the best thing was the wonderful patio with ocean views, BBQ, dinner table and sofas. We had wonderful family dinners out on the patio enjoying the sunsets.

Even better than described!
My husband and I stayed for about six weeks in this North PB home and we loved it. The view was not only wonderful, but the two patios made it exceptionally great to enjoy. We even saw the morning sunrise ease across the sky from the bedroom. Beautiful! Everything is very well maintained, from the kitchen appliances to the BBQ to the bikes. If there is an issue, Drew is happy to help and super easy to communicate with. The beds are very comfortable, the sofa is cozy, the kitchen is stocked with everything you need -- the whole house is honestly great. We walked and rode bikes to most places since the location is only about 10 minutes from the beach, the restaurants, and the grocery stores. We wished we had booked for longer, so we definitely look forward to coming again!

Great location, property in Pacific Beach
We stayed for a long weekend with my college friend, his wife and my twin boys. The house was perfect with plenty of room. It was a hot weekend and the house has no air-conditioning so just know that if you are arriving during a hot season, but usually I don’t think AC is necessary. The few issues we had was managed quickly with great communication from Drew. Costco is only a few miles away, and I was able to rent 6 bikes with the house and we were able to bike to the beach, and restaurants without a hitch. Great rental and we will be back! Highly recommend.

The best of the city & the beach!
Owners were very responsive & thorough in their agreements and instructions. The condo showed a bit more wear than the online pictures indicated but is very comfortable. The neighborhood is quiet and very convenient to the city’s activities.
We loved this accessibility as we were going to SeaWorld the Zoo the USS Midway etc. as well as daily trips to enjoy the beaches.

Our group had a great time here. Neighborhood is very close to the main strip in town as well as the beach. We enjoyed hanging on the decks and playing ping pong. Everything was comfortable and Drew was a great host.

Great home with plenty of room, beautifully decorated and well equipped!
The view is amazing! The accomodations were perfect for our family. Plenty of room and entertainment to be together or find a nice quiet niche to be alone. The neighborhood is beautiful and close to just about everything, especially the beach! Kitchen is well-equipped to serve 8 and appliances are updated. Washer & dryer helped immensely, along with the game room and family board games supplied by the owner. Bathrooms worked well for our large group. There was plenty of hot water and the water pressure was great! One of my favorite spots was out on the lower deck, drinking my coffee in the morning, enjoying the views and the humming birds drinking nectar from the bushes surrounding the deck. We had a wonderful week in the San Diego area and having comfortable accomodations made the visit perfect! We sincerely thank you for creating this home to share!

The house is lovely. The views from the porch are outstanding. (the pictures don't do it justice) We lived on the porch when we were at the home. Quiet neighborhood, good for sleeping. Location was convenient for our purposes. We could walk to PB , easy drive to downtown, Mission Valley, Torrey Pines, La Jolla. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. The men/boys loved the arcade! The house is a great value for the money. We loved our stay. We will definitely stay there again on a return trip to San Diego.

Clean, comfortable and nice location
With family visiting from out of state this house had everything we needed to have a very relaxing time. With the nights getting chilly this time of year we all really enjoyed the fire pit and tall gas heater. We took a walk down to the beach (about 1 1/4 miles down the street). A real nice grocery store is very close. Beds were comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped which was great because we did a lot of cooking! A couple of negatives would be that the baths could use an upgrade and it really isn't a quiet neighborhood (busy street nearby). There also was construction going on right below the back deck so sitting out there during the day wasn't all that pleasant. I would recommend staying here for a visit to San Diego because of it's great location. The owner was easy to deal with.

The house was perfect for our family vacation. There was ample space for 6 adults and a baby (<2 yrs old). We did need to keep a close eye on the baby with the stairs going up to the bedrooms. The decks had great views of the bay, ocean, and San Diego. We took advantage of the beach accessories to have a couple of fun days on the beach. We found the beach and restaurants to be a short walk.

Wonderful view from the two deckings
Very nice property with everyhting you need for a fantastic holiday. The house was fully equipped even with a baby bed and a high chair and all the stuff you need to spend a wonderful time at the beach. The whole house was very well cleaned. The contact with the owner was very friendly and he was very helpful when we had some questions or even some problems with the tv programs. The property is in a very quiet area and close to wonderful beaches. We are a family of 6 persons from Switzerland travelling with a 9 months old baby Girl. Seaworld and San Diego Zoo are located very close to the property and wonderful places to be with children
