Sonoma Square:
Is a 15-minute drive from Kenwood. There are unique shops, a multitude of restaurants, and a wonderful cheese store right there on the square. A farmers market is held on weekends.
My favorite restaurant on the square is “The Girl and the Fig” It is wonderful! A must “go to” restaurant. I advise making reservations ahead of time. She also has a sister restaurant in the town of Glen Ellen only 7 minutes down Rt. 12 that is equally delicious.
Suggestions of local wineries:
Kunde, Chateau Sr jean, Matanzas, BR Cohn, Chalk Hill, Schug, Anaba, Sabastiani, Tin Barn, Gloria Ferrer, Armida.
I love Kunde right across the street on 12. The wine is delicious and the outdoor tasting area is in a gorgeous setting. The people who work there are terrific, and I recommend taking the cave tour, it’s free and very informative.

We drove up from San Francisco into the Sonoma Valley for a friend’s wine trip. Even before we checked in, the host Jackie was in great spirits with amazing recommendations for local restaurants and winery tours. We arrived to a quaint entryway over a bridge into a beautiful garden space. Once we entered the house it was very clean organized and labeled so we would find everything easily. The bedrooms were exactly what we needed for our stay and the decor and atmosphere of the home was very cute and cottage like. It was within walking distance to some great tasting places as well as restaurants. The neighborhood was quiet with beautiful homes. We would stay here again in a heartbeat when we come back to Sonoma Valley and Kenwood Village.

Family weekend with our adult kids. Great spot, and very dog friendly. Big yard for our Wire Haired Pointing Griffon to explore and get his energy out. House was clean and in a great location. Hosts were very gracious, and offered late check out since it was available without us asking. We’ll be back.

Jackie was very communicative, made check in easy, ensured we had lots of local information, and always answered very quickly.

This place was amazing - our host was so communicative and provided lots of great recommendations for wineries and restaurants, and the home was gorgeous! It had a wonderful, big front porch with multiple spots to unwind, and a hot tub (which was great to recover in after we ran a half marathon). Everything was labeled inside the house too, so it was very homey but easy to find things. Even the decor was amazing! We would gladly stay here again, it was a really wonderful experience!

We had an amazing stay! Only problem is that it was so short! Well stocked, clean, organized, comfortable and beautiful. We had everything we needed and then some. Hope to return.

With the outside temperature hovering in the 105's, inside it was very pleasant. We had everything we needed to relax and enjoy my husband's birthday.
We will definitely be back perhaps when we can enjoy the outside deck before dark!
A great place, we heartedly recommend!

This a perfect house to stay in for visiting Sonoma and Napa. It’s a quiet, clean very thoughtfully furnished house. Kitchen was very user friendly and fully stocked. Nice outdoor space with table to have meals, seating area.
We will definitely consider this house to come back again.
The host is welcoming and accommodating. Thank you!!!

What a relaxing stay in Kenwood. Such a cute, comfortable house with a beautiful yard and patio area. I was traveling with my dogs and they loved the fenced in yard. Everything was great!

We just loved the how comfortable this cottage was! Beautiful gardens and we loved the hot tub! Decor was Cottage Chic and a new and well equipped kitchen. Close to so many wineries!

Booked this for my once yearly trip with a friend from 5th grade - we are both 60 this year. Also travelled with my 4 year old shepherd-rottweiler mix.
The three of us LOVED the home. So many lovely touches; the owner is very gracious and responsive. The yard is something out of a wine country magazine. Absolutely gorgeous and lots of areas to relax.
The beds and pillows are super comfortable (my friend and I are both super picky about comfort). The home temperature was easy to control.
We really enjoyed Salt & Stone just a minute away driving (you could walk). Lovely outdoor patio that my dog also enjoyed.
Highly recommend!

The house was wonderful, clean, and really comfortable. The kitchen has all the amenities. We did not cook much, but if we wanted to, everything was there to do so.
I misread the description and thought that there were 2 queen sized beds within the separate bedrooms. I realized later that there are 4 bedrooms. The main bedroom has 1 queen sized bed (sleeps 2.) Then there is another queen sized bed in a separate bedroom (sleeps 2), a bedroom with one twin bed (sleeps 1), and a bedroom/den with a day bed (sleeps 1.) Stll plenty of space for 5 women so it wasn't an issue.
The backyard is very relaxing and the garden is so beautilful. The hot tub was a warm welcome after a day of bike riding.
Location is perfect and so close to wineries and shops.
We definitely would stay there again if we return.

Really good communication, and lovely place. Very cute French country style, clean, and welcoming. Was able to hold our group pretty comfortably even as we spent more time than expected in the house as it was a rainy visit. Wish we had been able to enjoy the very cute yard too!

Well Kept, Great Location. We were able to walk to our favorite wineries. Restaurants we ate at had great food and service. The house was well stocked and had all the amenities to feel like home. It was gloomy and rainy when we came and house felt warm and cozy. Host communicated well and gave great suggestions of what to doin area.
I would recommend replacing gate to enter. And throw out rotting pumpkin at front door.

Property was easy access. Very warm and welcoming. Owner left us with great recommendations for wineries and restaurants. All were excellent. Great kitchen-well stocked, comfy beds, nice outdoor seating. Never used the spa. Highly recommend! Easy checkout. Thank you!

We were thrilled with this house and had a fantastic weekend.

The house was a nice refuge for four days in the Sonoma rain. It had plenty of room for a family of four adults. We enjoyed walks to the creek and around the area. Hot tub was nice, too. But for the most part, we jumped into the car and headed to the wineries we for which we reserved tastings. Jacqueline was kind, accommodating, and very helpful. We did not see her, but did not need to... Enjoyed our stay.

Great stay! Very clean and close to many vineyards and restaurants! The house was so clean and beautiful interior! Outdoor space was a little oasis! Would stay again!
8.0
We really enjoyed our stay at the property. The location in Kenwood is perfect in my book, with multiple restaurants and tasting rooms in walking distance. The neighborhood is also quite lovely, and we saw interesting animals (fox, quail) on our walks.
The home itself is very nice, and the outdoor area/front yard is beautiful, in addition to being very attractive to humminbirds and other critters. The hot tub was always hot and ready whenever we wanted to get in, and our dog loved running around the fenced-in yard sniffing at the other animals and birds that she was sharing space with. She was in heaven on the entire trip!
We did feel like the shared indoor living spaces were a little small for four adults, and the kitchen left a little to be desired for us in that two of the burners on the stove weren't working and we struggled a couple of times to find the right cooking utensils and bakeware for the two nights that we had planned on cooking dinner.
Overall it was a great trip and we really enjoyed our stay. The beds were also REALLY comfortable, and were especially welcome after a day of wine tasting! We would certainly return.

This place is great!
Comfortable beds, beautiful yard, responsive hosts, and a good location only twenty minutes from Sonoma square.
The dog also has plenty of space to run around the front yard!

The minute we walked in to Maison Jacqueline it felt like we could just move right in. Very clean and neat. Eclectic furnishings full of charm and character made it feel like a real home.
Plenty of sitting areas, both indoors and out, so everyone had their own space.
We only used 3 of the 4 beds, but all were incredibly comfortable with high quality bedding and pillows.
Kitchen was fully stocked with every appliance and kitchen tool you could want.
Walking distance to a few restaurants and several tasting rooms (Muscardini was the winner for us!) and a short drive to Glen Ellen and Sonoma for plenty of choice restaurants.
Jackie provided a great list of places to try, we did our best to hit them all, but sadly ran out of time.
If you’re looking for cleanliness, comfort, charm and a great location, Maison Jacqueline has it all!

Kenwood is a delightful neighborhood for a leisurely stroll. This home is very well-equipped and comfortable. Enjoy the blackberries behind the house, the plums off the front porch, and the sounds of chickens clucking next door. I only wish we had more time to enjoy it all.

Great location for wine tasting. The house had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend with friends.

Beautiful home, great location, excellent communication with the host.

We liked walking to nearby restaurants and found Palooza to be very dog friendly and only a couple blocks away. Palooza brought out dog water dishes right away. The make wood fired pizzas and have micro brewed beer.
Another venue we visited was Lou's which was a nice 50s style dinner. Once again, another dog friendly venue.
The property was very clean. One of the places that is a litmus test for a clean property is the spa, which was very clean. Keeping a spa clean with visitors using it is difficult.

Fantastic home with ample space and all the amenities! Bonus - hummingbirds on the patio for morning coffee! Enjoy!

Jackie’s home was just perfect for our 4 night stay. It was so warm and welcoming, with touches that made it feel like our own home. All of the beds were comfortable with lots of space to unpack. And even though it rained some of the time, we spent every moment we could admiring and enjoying the beautiful yard. So peaceful!
Three of us went hiking ( so many choices nearby) and one stayed at the house doing work. After dinner and hot tub, we played games at the kitchen table. Who could ask for a more relaxing getaway?
Jackie was great to communicate with and we went to several restaurants she recommended. We all agreed we needed at least a few more days to explore more of the surrounding areas.
We hope to be back!!
Thank you Jackie!!

This stay turned out to be the perfect end for a two week driving trip up the California coast, providing very comfortable and appealing indoor and outdoor spaces. Located in a quiet residential neighborhood, the house is exactly as pictured. The kitchen is well equipped, offering new appliances, an abundance of cookware/dinnerware, and an ample supply of cooking necessities (oils, seasonings, etc). We definitely will stay again when we return to Sonoma.
