Amazing room and sea view

The property is right at the beach but still not isolated. The room was amazing and well maintained. The owners were very helpful and accommodating to our requests.

The food could have been better (had breakfast here)

Lovely beach side stay

Beautiful location and by taking the deluxe room, I had a view on the ocean ! It was so relaxing to be so close to the beach and the owners were very welcoming.

Amazing stay, beautiful home and fantastic host!

Fantastic homestay! Everything was exactly (or actually even better) than in the pictures. Our host Om is really nice and welcoming, and went above and beyond to help us figure out both a boating cruise into the backwaters (had a truly lovely day and was able to relax completely) as well as help with finding transportation for our next destination. The house is very beautiful, right in front on the beach (you can see the sea directly from the house), our room was spotless clean and comfortable. Homemade breakfast was really delicious, served on the rooftop facing the sea. Would recommend to any traveler without a doubt!

My only regret is to not have planned more days to stay longer in this amazing home. Would have loved to stay, will definitely come again next time in Alleypey.

Great house stay in spectacular spot.

What a spot, right on the beach. Great views of big sandy beach watching the fishermen. This is a large house/home. Guests upstairs (maybe 5 rooms) family downstairs. Excellent breakfast on top floor with even better views of beach. Should be a restaurant at night. Excellent knowledgeable manager.

Nearby restaurants are in short supply. There is one close by which we used but not particularly impressed but OK when necessary. It's simple to get an autorickshaw to go where you want to eat. Plenty of good options further afield. Not really a problem.

Very clean, warm and welcoming stay

We actually extended for an extra night. The host Om was so warm, welcoming and very attentive. The room was very clean and so beautiful! The breakfast was delicious and there was a lot of fruit too! Om also recommended a backwaters trip with Oscar which was amazing, Om is very trustworthy and will try and help you where he can!

Kleinschalige mooie en rustige locatie

Kleinschalige mooie en rustige locatie aan zee. Grote privé terrein met op een paar meter heb je het strand.

Geen eetgelegenheid in de buurt, daarvoor moet je in een nabijgelegen dorp wezen. Dat dorpje heb ik als niet prettig ervaren, dus waren ook gauw weg daar.

Excellent room. Excellent location.

Stayed in the same room last year. Right on the beach overlooking the Arabian Sea. Very comfortable room and good bathroom. Owner went out of his way to provide a western breakfast of eggs and toast as unfortunately my stomach cannot handle Indian food. The excellent Catamaran restaurant with a menu to satisfy all tastes is a very short walk away and also overlooks the beach. Absolutely wonderful at sunset. Alleppey Beach is a beautiful place and an excellent respite if you have been travelling in India for a while. Reminds me of Kuta Beach, Bali 50 years ago. Touristy but not over commercialised, idyllic surroundings, friendly people charging fair prices and not out to rip you off.

Great beach location - Fuseboard needs upgrade!

Great, reasonable place right on the beach. Amazing location - saw fishermen gather in the mornings and evenings right outside the property! Whilst the property only does breakfasts, there were a quite a few places nearby which did excellent food, (reasonably priced).

Unfortunately, the fuseboard continuously tripped 2 nights runnning and that didnt do much for our sleep during muggy nights! (no a/c or fan). Whilst the manager reduced the rate agreed when we checked out, it didnt help us feeling perky for our daily plans whilst on holidays there....hopefully they will resolve this.....(the socket that served the credit card seemed to work ok, though!!)

Perfect stay in Alleppey.

The property is breezy and comfortable and staff were amazing. They helped us arrange auto ride to train station. The rooms had tall ceilings which, in addition to the air conditioning and fan, kept the room cool and comfortable. The upstairs balcony is a perfect shade spot to eat their delicious breakfast at and hang out before leaving for your next destination.

Amazinggggg and Relaxing!!!

It is very close to the beach and we witnessed a beautiful sunset. It is soooo clean and staff is helpful and nice. The breakfast was delicious and healthy.

There’s nothing to unlike but lil more closet space won’t hurt.

Lovely place to stay

Beautiful comfy rooms with large bathrooms and lovely views. Very helpful staff who gave us lots of information about where to go and where to eat. Kindly arranged for laundry to be done and taxi to be arranged. Lovely Indian breakfast served on second floor overlooking the beach. Also arranged for toast and jam for our teenagers who couldn't eat the tasty Indian food for breakfast. Great WiFi. Filtered water and tea and coffee available all the time.
