Lovely break and good value for money.

A lovely idyllic spot. So pleasant and quiet. Very clean with a comfy bed too.

Nothing really. The outside of the lodge could do with a fresh coat of paint. We could have done with a few bin liners too. The back garden was lovely and private but could have done with some weeding.

An absolute gem of a place, beautifully situated with everything you could possibly need!

Absolutely cracking location, stunning lodge with all mod cons, spacious and comfortable and a lovely hospitality basket too. I loved being away from the village and could hear owls hooting at night! I also loved the steep climb up the access road to get to the road down to Staithes.

Loved it

Comfortable , everything you need in kitchen . Welcome pack was a nice touch .

The hill but managed it ! A bit difficult walking back at night as there’s no lighting .

We had an amazing holiday.

The location was excellent. The local people are so friendly. The owner was a lovely woman. The patio off the bedroom to outside was brilliant and very private. The weather was even good.

lovely clean chalet , great location if you have a car

lovely and clean , everything you need in one place very comfortable bed and good shower got nice and warm with the heating

not a great first impression on arrival , site looks a bit shabby with a chalet next door in disrepair no street lights so very dark at night very steep hill at entrance of sight , not great for guests with any mobility problems without a car could have done with some info about the immediate area and any nearby walks etc

The lodge was great. Shame that access off the site was up a very steep hill.

The layout and quality of the lodge was very good.

The lodge was at the bottom of a very steep hill which you had to go up to get to the shops and pub. You have to go up the hill and down another steep hill to get into Staithes. I expect to tidy up before I go, but do not expect to be told to hoover and wash the floor and empty the bins when I am paying £355 for three nights in October.
