Come and stay at Gwen’s Cozy Cabin. Our cabin is situated just outside of Rosman, NC nestled on Line Runner Ridge Lake in the mountains.
Great romantic setting for couples!
Our adorable log cabin is a 1 bedroom loft with a queen size bed and a full bath. It is 930 square feet of coziness, constructed of large logs which makes it very unique. Wake up and gaze out at the lake without getting out of bed or better yet, have breakfast in bed, it has a great view from the loft. Enjoy spending days around the cabin, we have fishing (catch and release only), two kayaks and one canoe for lazy trips around the lake. Go swimming right outside your front door to cool down. Bring your dog, there is a large fenced in back yard for hours of play time. Cook on our charcoal grill (charcoal included) and enjoy a great meal at the picnic table or on our large front porch. If you enjoy walking, walk on the many miles of roads on Line Runner Ridge, take a hike in the woods or around the lake. After a long day at the cabin, enjoy the fire pit in the back yard fixing smore's or grab a drink and take a relaxing bath in our old fashion claw foot bath tub with tee light candles. Play some good old fashion board games or just kick back and watch TV. The living room has an electric “old fashion stove” to set the mood. Our unique kitchen is filled with everything you need, from cooking a gourmet meal or just hot dogs, it comes complete with a gas stove and oven, microwave convection oven, coffee maker, coffee, tea pot with soothing tea, toaster oven and a dishwasher.
Want to venture out to sight see? There are so many quaint shops in Brevard, which are only 30 minutes away. Visit the many restaurants and shops in our area. Brevard is the land of waterfalls, hiking, biking, tubing, kayaking, canoeing, golf, tennis, skiing, horseback riding and for the adventurer in you, how about zip lining. From the moment we walked into the cabin, we felt so welcome. The attention to detail (personal and to quests) is impeccable. From music playing and candlelight to the personalized gift table, shows how much she cares. The cabin was spotless, both inside and out. Pictures do not due this place justice. It is so cozy and is decorated so well. I absolutely loved the decor, especially her hand made metal art, which she sells. (of course we bought one). Such a nice souvenir. And best of all, we were able to take our dogs. The yard is huge and right at the lake, so they could swim. Tired dogs are happy dogs. The view, spectacular. Qwen thought of everything. You never have to leave-but if you do, she has a quest book that has a list of things to do around the area. This place set the bar pretty high. Will definitely go back.

From the minute we walked into the cabin, we felt welcomed and at home. The lamps and battery candles were on, and the TV was on a music channel.
We booked it for me birthday and Gwen had a birthday banner hanging from the bedroom loft. She also had treats for us and our dogs. Her attention to detail was evident throughout the charming cabin. Even had art hanging under the bathroom sink that you can see when soaking in the tub. We will definitely be back!!!

Awesome isn’t enough to say about this place. We celebrated our 30th anniversary at the cabin. Gwen made it so special with candle lights on through out the cabin when we got there and some other special effects for our anniversary. Made it So special

Gwen’s cabin is perfect, and exactly as described in the listing. It’s like walking out of our house and into someone else’s, with a well equipped kitchen, has everything you could possibly need aside from your own food and drink.
This has been THE BEST VRBO we have ever had the pleasure of staying at. The special welcoming with a basket of goodies specifically dedicated to my husband and I, as well as special goodies and welcome message for our two pups. 🐶
Gwen’s cabin is spacious, comfortable, ( slept so sell ) VERY clean, beautifully decorated, and on the lake. Such a serene setting. The large furnished deck overlooks a gorgeous lawn and lake. Was such fun being able to take our pups and having them safe inside the large fenced lawn.
So much to do! Fishing, swimming, canoeing, grilling, and relaxing on the deck. Gwen provides all the gear for these activities! 😎
If you go into the quaint downtown of Brevard, that’s @15 min drive. Loads of shops and restaurants.
For outdoor adventures, many places for hiking, fishing, tubing, and photography of gorgeous views @30 min drive.
Gwen was great at checking in, and readily available.

This is a lovely cabin. Perfect for the two of us and our dog. Located near lots of hiking and waterfall areas. There is a canoe and kayak available for use on the lake for days that you just want to stay at the cabin. Awesome

From the minute you pull up to the cabin it gives you a sense of comfort. When we walked in the overall welcoming charm made you feel like you would not want to leave. The welcome basket and goodies for our dogs speak volumes of Gwen and her desire to make you feel welcome. The cabin is so passionately decorated with love and all the comforts one needs. Clean, and stocked with all the essentials. The view of the lake from the porch is a spot that will be difficult to move from and not want to sit all day and evening. It's so relaxing—a well-stocked lake for catch-and-release fishing. Gwens' metal artwork around the cabin is something everyone should take a look at. We purchased 2 of her metal flag pieces, reminding us of our wonder time. This cabin warrants a return visit which we will do. Gwen thank you for sharing your beautiful cabin and being an outstanding host. We will be planning a return visit!

While approaching the entryway to the cabin, my husband and I were welcomed with the breathtaking view of the lake. Our experience was further enhanced as soon as we opened the door. The beauty and charm was beyond any other vacation homes we had experienced. Gwen’s fine taste in decor and charm was certainly a reflection of herself. The pictures presented online definitely did not do the cabin justice. In addition, the comfort and peaceful setting were beyond our expectations. We definitely can not wait to plan our return visit to Gwen’s Cozy Cabin.

We had an amazing stay, we have never been able to bring our pup with us when we travel so being able bring her was a huge bonus. As soon as we got in about 10pm we were just starting to get settled and the power went out… have no fear a generator kicked on 30 seconds later. (Power came on 30 mins later no big deal) the next day we were inside cause it was cold and rainy Gwen was very prompt to answer questions we had. Gwen goes above and beyond to make you feel welcomed from her little snack baskets to the kisses on the bedsheets. Downtown Brevard is somewhere I’ve never heard of but will definitely be going back such a cute small town with very friendly welcoming people. 100/10 would recommend renting this cabin from Gwen!

This cabin was exactly what we were looking for! Our goal was to travel more with our two dogs this year and this was a great place to start! The owner was very friendly and answered all my questions in a timely manner. It's also decorated with a lot of different metal art, which you can buy as well, very talented!
Our boys enjoyed nights by the fire and swimming in the lake. Having the large fenced in yard was a huge plus! We will definitely be back!

This cabin was beautiful, clean and had everything that we needed. Fishing was great (would have loved to have had a dock like the neighbors). Having a dock to get a little closer to the deeper water, somewhere to sit etc. Would have made it absolutely perfect. Otherwise, everything was great!

Our stay was amazing. Gwen goes above and beyond,. During the process of renting the cabin I had mention it was our anniversary , her birthday and our Christmas to each other. We also had pets. Gwen the cabin owner asked for a picture of us. I thought to verify who we were when we arrived. So I sent a picture of us and one of our pets. When we arrived we were speechless. Gwen had the picture of us framed in a nice frame and the picture of our pets with a treat basket for them. The next evening we noticed she had a hand made Happy Anniversary banner with our names hanging from the upper loft.
The cabin is absolutely perfect. Loved the floor heat it keep the whole cabin heated. We will definitely be staying again.

The cabin is clean and cozy. The location is remote enough that you should plan on having some of your meals there; the kitchen is well equipped so that shouldn't be a problem. Everything has been thought of, leading to a very comfortable guest experience. The lake is small and it's a tranquil setting. We'd love to return someday.

I cannot express how perfect everything was! I was amazed at just how immaculately clean the cabin was, even the outdoor furniture was spotless! We have stayed at this cabin with our dog multiple times and each time is magical! The cabin is beautiful and perfect for the two of us. We took the kayak and canoe out on the lake. The porch is great and we spent as much time as possible out there enjoying the view.

I have rented several properties through VRBO, and Gwen's Cozy Cabin was the absolute best! Now let me tell why. Gwen holds nothing back. The cabin is stocked over the top and with quality products. Most cabins have cheap paper products and minimal supplies. Gwen has the best and plenty of supplies. The cabin itself is very nice. Her taste in decor is georgeous. The property is well maintained and it's a great place to take you dogs. Fully fenced in, and I mean a very secure fence. I loved both upper and lower decks. Give it a try. It will not disappoint. Gwen's Cozy Cabin was absolutely fabulous. Gwen is the best host that we have had at any VRBO location that we have rented. My wife and I booked this cabin for our 10th wedding anniversary. I always read a ton of reviews before I select a rental and I could not find one negative review and after staying in the cabin, I see why. When we arrived at the cabin, Gwen had a personalized banner hanging up wishing us a Happy Anniversary and even had a framed picture of us, which she had requested upon booking, with a gift basket filled with goodies. There was music playing and everything was so inviting, cozy and very very clean. My wife, who is a stickler for a clean house and notices anything and everything dirty was the most impressed with how clean and well put together everything was. The location was great and the lake was so clear that you could see the fish swimming under us as we enjoyed a peaceful early morning canoe ride around the lake. If you are looking for adventure, there is more than you would ever be able to see or do within easy driving distance of the cabin. If you are looking for a romantic getaway, this location and cabin is perfect. Gwen has thought of everything and it really made our trip special and memorable. We will definitely be back. The cabin is so comfortable and inviting; we instantly felt right at home. It’s unbelievably quiet and so peaceful. It was exactly what we needed to unwind and disconnect. The huge fenced in yard was perfect for the dogs and we were truly able to relax knowing they were secure. We explored Pisgah and Gorges nearby but also had plenty of downtime at the cabin, too.

I could keep going and never run out of positive adjetives to describe this vacation rental. The dogs love the fenced yard. We love the view from the porch. There’s absolutely nothing negative about this place and Gwen is the most thoughtful host we’ve ever had (we have been using Vrbo since it was called home away, LONGTIME!). Our stay here was heaven on earth! It was just myself and and my Jack Russell Murphy. I was looking for a beautiful &peaceful place to relax, rejuvenate and celebrate my birthday. This cabin was all that and then some! From the moment I walked into soft jazz music playing, low lighting, the beautiful decor and all the special welcome and birthday touches to the time I regretfully had to leave, I was at peace and felt like I was in heaven. The cabin is spotless and has so many rich details. It was the perfect place for Murphy as well! He loved the big comfy dog bed and large fenced yard to run and chase balls. I brought all my favorite foods and ejoyed cooking meals in the well equipped kitchen. The porch was such a beautiful spot to eat and enjoy the gorgeous lake view. A comfy bed with a great view provided restful sleep. I thoroughly enjoyed doing all the simple things I never seem to have time for at home-reading a book, working a puzzle I brought with me, taking a candlelight bubble bath, and really slowing down to appreciate nature's beauty. If you get the chance to experience it in person, you will fully understand all the 5 star reviews & limited availability it has. I'm sure many are return guests as I hope to be! Thank you Gwen for putting your heart and soul into this cabin and providing such a paradise for your guests to enjoy! I loved every minute of my stay! This was our 1st time staying with Gwen's Cozy Cabin but we will definitely stay again. The check in process was so smooth and easy. When we walked in Gwen had a banner that said Happy Anniversary and a framed picture of us which was so nice. We had a storm that knocked our cable out and soon after we let Gwen know they got it fixed. The cabin is decorated with a loving touch. Gwen goes above and beyond for her guest.

My wife and I try to take a yearly spring trip, to a small town in the NC mountains, and always stay in different VRBOs. This was, by far, the best cabin we've stayed in. The host literally thought of everything! The cabin, itself is beautiful, and the views are to die for. Since the cabin is right on a lake, there are kayaks for guest use, and there is easy access to the water. We had a amazing weekend, and hope to stay here again, in the future.

After finding out I would be celebrating my birthday, Gwen had a banner up in the cabin wishing me a happy birthday.
