Overall we had a good time with family and friends. The house itself was comfortable but with a few modest improvements it could have been better. The outside was dirty and the backyard was a hazard. While every room had a tv none of them were smart tvs so there was no access to streaming channels. The cable channels available was limited. Cooking devices was adequate.The house was in a good location and quiet. Great access to the beach.

My family stayed for the 4th of July and very much enjoyed ourselves. We grilled, we cooked, we slept late, we rode bikes, and we were lazy! The house was clean and welcoming. We took advantage of the screened in rooftop patio, was nice to catch a breeze and kept all of the bugs away.Very close to the beach, and as it is located in a neighborhood the beach was not crowded at all. No beach available +/- 1 hour of high tide, but plenty the rest of the day.Already planning to stay here again, had a great time!

Our family had a wonderful time staying at Hacienda. This was our 10th visit to Jekyll Island and over the years we have grown our family from 4 to 8 and we needed more space for kids and adults. Hacienda was the perfect size for least until our 11th visit!

My son,his wife and 4yr old granddaughter met me at Jekyll Island Hacienda for a glorious week of spring break. We have done this before and keep coming back because it is so perfect for us.We were walking to the uncrowned quiet beach,seeing dolphins, finding sand dollars... We went to the playground by the put put,driftwood beach, touch tanks at Tidelands,the pool at Days Inn and walking around the old hotel among the beautiful trees. My granddaughter learned to fly a kite by herself,went in a pool for the first time,saw an alligator and went to an Irish pub. She recently learned to do an Irish jig but was disappointed when the Wee Pub had no Irish music. We enjoyed eating at Driftwood Bistro (played in their playground while waiting for our table),Tortuga Jacks and the Pantry and pizza from the pizza place. We are looking forward to going back and hopefully staying at Hacienda again.

Checking in was so smooth. Received a call that the house was ready for access well before the recommended arrival time. Jekyll Realty also provided an added bonus...gift bag with a starter stay kit + a tide timeline chart—definitely appreciated for a beach walker and shell hunter. The location is so serene, with the only noise being the sound of the ocean waves (yes, the house is THAT close to the beach). We had everything we needed for our week’s stay. Highly recommend this property and Jekyll Realty!

Hacienda was a lovely place to stay. It is extremely convenient to everything on Jekyll Island, especially the bike route. Lots of space to move around, cook, relax. Quality cookware and appliances. Our bed was very comfortable and one of the showers was preferred. Back patio and grill were extremely useful and pleasant. The rooftop screen porch is just spectacular for a sunny warm morning. The neighborhood was very quiet and beach access just a few blocks away.
The only thing we noticed was the uneven slate tiles at the courtyard entrance. It made walking a little dicey. Maybe it would be a good idea to be fill the gaps between the paver stones.
Thanks for a great time. We would love to return to the Hacienda.

The house is great in it’s comfort and location. The kitchen is quite nice and the fridge and dishwasher were great. My only complaint is that there is ABSOLUTELY NO hand soap or toilet paper provided for a home with 3 bathrooms and up to 6 people who could stay there. I believe this to likely be the decision of the property manager and not the owner, but come on guys, this is not a big expense for you and something very essential and simple to give your renters especially since I can tell a great deal of time and attention has been paid toward making the home a place you would want to be in. We would still like to return to the home and island at a later date, but we sincerely hope that the management can find it in their hearts to “spare a square”.

Wonderful, we come back every year. Service and home are always superb. I would recommend power washing the house. It is pretty disgusting on the outside and brings a lot of bugs with it. Also, the railings on the roof are deteriorating, so we did not use that as much as we would have. There are small upgrades needed but otherwise a fun stay.

This was our second trip to the Hacienda, out of many many years of coming to Jekyll Island. We’ve always stayed in houses, and this one is definitely one of the best of all. Everything is nice here, and obviously, they care enough to upgrade things as time and frequent guests do wear things out. The website should reflect these changes, such as a Keurig AND a drip coffee maker, so people can bring the right things. I stay in rental homes almost always when I travel, and I was surprised at the items that Jekyll Realty ‘give’ you as a welcome gift. Toilet paper? Dish soap? These items should be in the home already, not like it’s some big favor they are doing for you! Otherwise, everything was wonderful.

We had a wonderful time at Jekyll Island. Everything was so nice and laid back. The house was perfect for us! There were three married couples, so we all had our own king size bed! 🤗 (A specific perk I was looking for when trying to find a place). We loved the house, the town, and the last morning the ladies went to Driftwood Beach to watch the sunrise… WOW!!! Just WOW!!! God is such an amazing artist!!! So much beauty on this planet we take for granted. Oh, and we also had some friends (Haci & Friend two sweet deer) come and visit us on the back patio. Such a fun and amazing time here with friends!!!

We very much enjoyed our week stay at 6 Bliss. Quite and comfortable with lots of room. Our three couples had privacy and yet ample room to gather together. Especially enjoyed the rooftop screened room.

We enjoyed staying here with our 3 dogs. Large showers, plentiful windows, and private setting. The boardwalk was washed out at the end of our road (this was disclosed in the listing stating beach access was at King St) and it was an easy walk 1 block over to the beach. Walking/biking path runs right by the house and covers most of the island. We loved our time on Jekyll and enjoyed our first VRBO experience with Jekyll Realty.

Seemingly endless nooks & crannies within this property - inside & out. Like a nice hotel merged with a house. This property is enjoyable inside, outside and even rooftop! You'll have an easy stroll to beach view boardwalk (usually tide too high to walk beach, but beautiful).

We loved our stay at La Hacienda. It’s a very charming home with all the amenities we needed. It was super clean upon arrival, the beds are comfy and the shower was great. Everything we needed was in the kitchen, the rooftop deck is cool and the grounds beautiful. Beach access is just one street over & there are handicap beach accesses at the public beach area. We loved our stay here!

The house was very nice. We were very comfortable. The only thing I was unhappy with was the cleanliness of the floor. I have an infant that is not walking yet. By the end of each day his clothes, hands and feet were filthy and it began the first day. We all took our shoes off each time we entered the house to help with the tracked in dirt. But I had to wash his hands each time I put him in the high chair to eat. It was kind of gross.

One of multiple trips to Jekyll over the past 10 years, usually staying at the Club, this is one of our favorite vacation spots, and this home is certainly a prize winner. Although not as large as we imagined, the home was more than adequate and very friendly to those who enjoy nature up close and personal. The deer in yard were a nice touch, and yes, you could touch them! Although not directly on the beach, this home is about as close as anyone on Jekyll can be. A pleasant stroll to the beach, a scenic and comfortable bike ride to the club, or just a jaunt around the island, all are available to you from this home. Yes, we'll be back one day soon!

The Hacienda has a unique design and layout as it wraps around a U-shaped floor plan. The outside is very charming with upper patio and lighting. The interior was modern and user-friendly. Our only complaint was that there was limited dresser space for a family as well as cupboard space in the kitchen. The biggest setback for the property was that there is no covered carport or patio to store chairs, towels, golf clubs, and bikes when the weather changes. Overall, a very nice stay.

We have visited Jekyll many times and our favorite villas were Fairway and Lake view. We were presently surprised with Hacienda and will request it on our next visit. The only thing lacking was access to a radio. Also they need to upgrade the non-stick pots and frying pans.Please note that my true address is in Cancun Mexico, I grew up in the islands.

We had a wonderful stay at the Haceinda. We loved the Spanish styling and layout of the house, loved the eclectic furnishings. I was familiar with the Island and the location of the house as expected was in a great central location. So happy we could bring our little dog.. Only downfall was it had roaches, dead and alive. Doors obviously not sealed well so even if spayed bugs could come in from over grown landscaping. We are from Fl so no stranger to bugs, might really turn someone off from northern climate. Think these issues easily corrected would make 5 star review .

There were two couples. The Hacienda is designed perfectly for two couples. We each had our private side of the house for our bedrooms. It is a lovely home. The location on the island is perfect. The location to the beach is superb. We biked. We golfed. We "hung out" in the Hacienda. We sat in the lookout in the evenings. It was a fabulous getaway!

Home was in clean condition upon arrival. Several issues were found that need attention and were reported. King Bedroom bathroom sink stopper inoperable. Also toilet not shutting off all the time, flapper worn. During storm Hermine, Queen Bedroom ceiling was leaking near closet. This area was stained before storm, has leaked previously. Door in King bedroom sitting room leading to front porch has 1/2" gap. Cockroaches and other insects were coming in at this gap. Almost every morning cockroaches were found on tile floors and showers. One dining room window pane is cracked, also cooking utensils and pans had grease and stains on, were definitely not checked by company cleaning the property before we rented Overall, this property we feel has not been maintained as nice as our previous 3 years here. I would recommend the property to others if the property was Given a little TLC and inspection for problems BEFORE each rental.
