The location is a perfect spot from which to explore Downeast Coastal Maine all while retreating to the seclusion, privacy and nature that Maine has to offer. The camp is easily accessible, 1.3 miles down a well-maintained scenic dirt road. This private road allows for safe walking or biking. The other side of the road offers views and acreage of Downeast Maine blueberry fields, rocks, hills and mountains. Children and non-aggressive pets are always welcome and invited. On the main level of the cottage you’ll find an open-concept kitchen/dining/living room and full bathroom. The cottage is wooden post and beam construction throughout. You’ll find a fully equipped kitchen, gas range, refrigerator, and Keurig coffeemaker. Upstairs there is a master bedroom with a queen size bed and a loft area with 2 twin beds and sitting area. A futon in the main living area will also sleep 1. There is a large yard for outdoor recreation, plenty of parking space, a picnic table and wooded fire pit area near the water for roasting hotdogs and s’mores on cooler nights. Or, you can rest in the hammock and read as the wind blows off the water. There are blueberry patches and wild flowers on the property for the picking if you're vacationing during the season. You’ll find a private dock for swimming and boating, 245’ of private water frontage, and an Adirondack double-seater at the water’s edge to enjoy your morning coffee, read a book or observe the duck families swim by. The camp rental includes a two-seater Old Town “Loon” kayak, paddles and safety jackets for your enjoyment. There is a clothesline to dry wet clothing/towels and coin laundry machines (washer and dryer) on site. Rental is available May through October.
