About this house rental
Beautifully decorated, comfortable, large waterfront home overlooking the Jourdan River and the Bay of St. Louis. This house has 5 bedrooms plus a dormitory style common room. Each bedroom has its own bath. The kitchen is very spacious, granite countertops and all stainless steel appliances fully equipped with anything you may need. Great living space with three sets of french doors leading out to surrounding porches that overlook the River. The main living floor has hardwood bamboo flooring throughout, and carpeting in bedrooms with a dining table that seats ten-twelve people comfortably. Lovely views and outdoor spaces. Small boat dock available. Newly added pool with heating option at an additional charge.

We were a group of 3 generations and everyone thoroughly enjoyed the property. The location was great, the views were great, and it just felt like a quality property that someone cared about. The pool was perfect for cooling off and the kids loved it. The dock was great for my 18 ft skiff and the fishing was good too. Lots of space. The little cargo elevator was handy for moving luggage upstairs, especially for the grandparents. Very well appointed as well with lots of extra household "stuff"that came in handy (towels, kitchen stuff, sunscreen, spices & dressings, scissors, band aids, etc.). Seems like the owners must spend a lot of time there. Very responsive host as well. All around great house, great location, and great stay!

Ann was a fantastic host. My group of 6 ladies had an amazing stay. Home was absolutely stunning, very comfortable and spacious. Beds and baths for everyone. Too windy and cold to enjoy beautiful porches, outside kitchen area and pool, but we hope to be back in the summer.. Communication was a breeze, everything we asked about was taken care of ahead of time. Perfect getaway! Highly recommend!

Dear Anne & Harriet, we had a fantastic time at your summer home in Bay St Louis! Your house was spacious and clean. The views from the porch were spectacular. The ground floor views were just as great, along with the pool. And the minor elevator problem was fixed the next day. Thanks! By the way the repairman removed 4ft of chain, and said to hold the button till the elevator going up or down stopped on its own (add to your instruction list), as these may have caused the problem. Also your white round trays were perfect for eating boiled crabs.

It is in a quiet neighborhood overlooking the water. The kids loved the pool and the owner was very helpful and communicative. This is exactly what I was hoping the experience would be like. This place was great and I hope we can come back again some day.

Great location for our group of fishermen to dock our boats. Friendly neighbors, quiet area. House was very clean, check in/out was easy. Highly recommend!

So much fun!
We had the best time celebrating my birthday with friends and family! The house is huge with plenty of space for everyone to sleep and very clean! Lots of fun family games available and a huge outdoor area perfect for seafood boils and hanging out in the pool. Can’t wait to stay here again!

Large home with peaceful View
The home is large and had plenty of space for guests to sleep. It had everything we needed.
I have rented many homes with my family and for myself, and I would like to let others know that there are two types of rentals I have encountered. Some that are more hotel like, being there is nothing but furniture and kitchen essentials inside, and there are homes being lived in, but rented occasionally full of the owners belongings. This house was the latter. Unfortunately that is not my preference, I prefer to have room in the closets, e.t.c to put away my things and keep suitcases out of the way, and I couldn't. It felt as if we were staying with someone. I think the property also needs a bit more attention or a deep cleaning.
Not trying to be negative, only clarifying for those who feel like I do when they are renting vacation homes. If you don't mind staying with someone, you will love it because they have everything you need. Ann was also very nice and responsive.

Relaxing Getaway
The property was perfect for our group of 8. Each of the three families had plenty of room, but ample space to get together for meals and games. The owner was very attentive and easy to communicate with. The house felt more like a home than a rental property. There was an outside cargo lift for bringing up luggage since the house is on stilts with several stairs. I would definitely recommend this property for a relaxing getaway.

Beautiful home on lake
Our family recently stayed in this beautiful home and was very impressed. All you need to take are your clothes and food as everything else is provided including a generous amount of fans. The place for your boat is right outside the house and even a place to clean your fish. Inside is great for socializing as well as the outside ground floor, with the pool, plenty of seating, a bar area, a gas grill and parking your cars. The large deck gives you a wonderful view of the water and beautiful sunsets. We were so pleased that we have already rented again for next year. The owner, Ann, is wonderful to work with also.

Not Expecting Guests
The property was not as expected. It was somewhat cluttered (piles of magazines, stuffed television cabinet, etc) in each space. It was not professionally cleaned (like the toilet rims), as well as the towels were dingy and a musty damp smell in the upstairs rooms. Lastly, the property probably needs exterminating because there were spiders and water bugs in parts of the house. The house appeared as if the owners left the just before we arrived. The lawn furniture had mildewed cushions and cobwebs all over the outside space. Our dissatisfaction resulted in us returning a day early. The most enjoyable part of the house was outside taking in the beautiful view. The property has potential but too much of the owners personality is prevalent and does not feel like a getaway, but visiting Aunt Lucy’s house.

One of the best getaways in the entire gulf coast region.
If you enjoys being lazy, fishing, crabbing, playing games, watching movies, reading books, eating outisdie or inside, having your choice of a place to sleep. This is the place for you. My wife and 3 kids stayed 2 nights. The kids loved the fact that they could swim when it was still cold outside in the heated pool. We all fished and played games while my wife and I had a few glasses of wine at the outside bar. There were 2 small kayaks that you could cruise around the canal with or into the bay just close to shore because the are small and the current is swift. There are endless board games to play. Our kids went room to room finding the perfect room for them. There is literally something for everyone at this house. I enjoyed it so much I may have to move to the area.

We had a family Christmas getaway, what an amazing time at this wonderful home. I definitely go back again. The beds are fantastic. My nephew in law wants the info for the king bed upstairs. Ann was the perfect hostess!!
