Welcome to 10 Iron Clad, a beautiful multi-level, ocean front home in the award-winning Palmetto Dunes Resort. With breath taking ocean views from almost every room, your family is sure to enjoy their beach vacation. A one million dollar renovation was recently completed by award-winning builders, Element Construction and interior design by Kelly Caron. With renovations revamping the entire house, including kitchen, bathroom, flooring, upper deck and new furniture, 10 Iron Clad represents the best that Hilton Head has to offer. This "brand-new" home has wood flooring on all levels with exquisite tile in all bathrooms.
When you enter into the open foyer, you are greeted by ceiling to floor windows that offer extraordinary views of the ocean. Off to the right of the foyer, you will find a queen bedroom with a mounted flat screen TV and walk-in shower with subway tiles. The California King bedroom also has a mounted flat screen TV and a walk-in shower with penny tiles and direct ocean views. Take a few steps down from the king bedroom and you will enter into the ocean view bunk bed room that has a full bed on the bottom and a twin XL on the top. This room also has its own full bathroom with a large walk-in shower. On this level, you will also find a seating area with a 48" flat screen TV that has a brand new sectional couch that pulls out into a queen sleeper bed.
To the left of the foyer you will find two more bedrooms. The California King bedroom has a mounted flat screen TV and direct views of the ocean. This bedroom has an attached walk-in shower with penny tiles. The other bedroom has two twin beds, each with a trundle, and has its own walk-in shower. Between these two rooms is a game room with a foosball table, full-size stainless steel refrigerator and sink. Attached to this room is the laundry room which has brand new Electrolux front-loading washer and dryer.
If you make your way up the wooden stairs you will be greeted on the second level with floor to ceiling windows looking out onto the beach. The second level has three sitting areas. The living room has brand-new seating for 8 as you have direct ocean views through the large windows. The family room has a new chaise lounge sectional with a 65” UltraHD TV. The third sitting area on the second level is a reading nook that is a split level up from the family room and is the perfect place to nestle into a good book. Upstairs, you will also find the master king bedroom with wrap around windows that allow you to see the ocean from any angle. The master bathroom has marble flooring and quartz countertops, two separate vanities, a stand up shower with two shower heads, and a floating BainUltra Thermomasseur tub.
Also located on the second floor is the dining room that seats eight, with additional seating for four at the breakfast table. The dining room also has a wet bar with a hammered nickel sink. The newly remodeled kitchen offers vibrant blue and white custom cabinets with quartz countertops. The custom paneled Miele refrigerator has freezer drawers. The new stainless steel 6-burner gas range and convection oven will allow your chef to create meals and memories while looking out on the Atlantic. A large farmhouse sink and custom paneled dishwasher make clean-up a breeze. The kitchen is stocked with all new appliances and new cooking utensils. A cook's dream kitchen!
The deck off the second-level boasts new travertine flooring and a new built-in stainless still DCS gas grill with attached countertop space for your grill master. Enjoy that grilled meal on the outdoor Polywood dining table that seats six as you enjoy the cool ocean breeze. Enjoy your morning coffee out on the balcony where you can sit in the rocking chairs. Listen to the sounds of the waves and watch the sun rise over the Atlantic. Closely watch to see if you can catch the dolphins swimming their path up and down the shore from your perch.
This dream home also has a full SONOS sound system that you can control from your own smartphone. With dedicated speakers in the master suite, kitchen, living room, family room, downstairs sitting area allow you to listen to your own favorite music in your own part of the house. Don’t forget music by the pool or upstairs deck. There are speakers there too!

The house was lovely and an excellent location. Much to our surprise the garage fridge was broken therefore we lost lots of food such as fresh shrimp, chicken and ground meat. Although it was not advertised the house had an elevator which would have been perfect for my mother who suffers from COPD but it was also inoperable.

We spent a week at 10 Ironclad with my family to celebrate my 70th birthday. We were a group of 8 adults 6 children( ages 5-12). There were enough beds for all and each bedroom had an attached bathroom. The house was beautifully decorated and had an amazing kitchen! The kitchen was very well equipped.
The best part of the house was that it had two living rooms, one upstairs near the kitchen and the other downstairs opening to the pool. We found this very convenient for our large group and never felt crowded. The downstairs living area had a large refrigerator. There was a Foosball game which was a great hit!
The owner was very responsive to my questions. We arrived one day early and stayed at the Omni so we were able to beat the crowds on check-in day. The gate passes are $25 cash and only 4 are allowed. They can be picked up early but entry to the house is only at 4:30 pm. The house has two large garages.
We got take out most days and I would recommend the following restaurants as they were great-
CASA BLANCA-delicious Mediterranean
BULLIES BBQ- the best beef brisket and sides!
GENERAL STORE- Fried chicken, go early, they run out by noon! YUM!
GIUSEPPI’S PIZZA- very good!
Trash pick up is on Wednesday and Saturday
There were a few floats also in the garage.
The house has a lot of steps, the master bedroom and kitchen are on the upper level, the rest of the 5 bedrooms are downstairs, and front entry is also with steps.

We were lucky to have stayed at this beautiful beachside home for a few days. The house was great, and clean, and had a well outfitted kitchen for all our cooking and enjoying needs. The fabulous views of the ocean are seen from many of the bedrooms and exceptional from the living spaces. The area had so many activities we didn't nearly have enough time to try all we wanted to. We'll hopefully be back!

This was a perfect house, perfect location, celebrating a family members 90th bday. It accommodated a family ranging in age from 1 year to 90! Being on the beach made our stay in HH even better than all the other times we've been here. Photos on line defined the house perfectly.

The moment you walk in the door you realize that you never want to leave. The location of the home and the step out to the beach is amazing. Had a great time 4 adults and 4 kids. It would be nice to have 2 suites and blinds to close at night during the Turtle nesting season so you don’t feel like you will disturb the turtles. Definitely a unforgettable family trip🏝️

Just left 10 Iron Clad after a week with family. Weather was not good but we had a fun week being together. I recommend a new dishwasher and all new pots and pans. One of the downstairs king beds was very uncomfortable. Pool needed a major cleaning. The walk from the house to the beach was so easy and we loved that! Rocking chairs on back porch were great too! Views were awesome and dolphins greeted us each morning.

We worked with Kimberly and she was excellent. The house was beautiful but a few things that would have been nice is different. The main problem was the elevator. My husband has cancer and would have been great if we could have used it and we had suitcase’s that would have be helpful . I didn’t realize till we checked in it wasn’t an option to use at least without permission. We have rented houses before with elevators ( and have one in our home)
Also by the pool one of the clean out baskets had a dangerous hole above it. There was a 3-4 inch lip above the basket and if you weren’t watching you would step inside and could have broken your ankle. The last thing was and I know out of your control was the house next door was being built and was noisy and dirty. If you wanted to sleep in on your vacation that was not easy. The pool and backyard was one of the best we have stayed at and very private. We did pay for heat which was nice but probably wasn’t needed for the whole week. Very well stocked kitchen, beds were comfortable and house very nicely decorated. The hot water tank was irritating because you had to wait3-4 minutes for it to heat up each time including showers. All in all was a very nice house. The amount to rent was a little high.

Wish we could have connected to Sonos system (perhaps we needed more information?), and we've learned to bring some of our own kitchen essentials (coffee grinder, rubber scraper/spatula, lettuce spinner), but it was definitely an excellent home for a family gathering and we will select it again.

The upper level deck has one of the best ocean views in HHI - we had 11 adults and 4 kids (we brought a air mattress) - plenty of rooms and every one was comfortable - we'll stay here again

We have taken several family vacations with our kids and grandkids and have been blessed to have been able to stay in some fabulous houses and at some wonderful locations. I think my sons text to me says it all - "Best family vacation ever for us".
This house is not only first class, but the layout is perfect for a multi-family vacation. Cannot say enough good things.

Awesome End to the Summer!
We spent our last 2 weeks of summer break here and it was perfect! So close to all the shopping and restaurants in Shelter Cove, and the view of the beach from the family room is just incredible. Our kids loved having their own space in the basement, and it could not be easier going back and forth from the beach. We'll definitely be back!

Relaxing Family Getaway
We spent a week at this beautiful beach home in April. The host was very responsive and helpful leading up to our stay and everything was very well explained/listed before arrival. The house is spacious with a great layout for a large group (we were a total of 6 adults and 2 children). The views of the ocean are spectacular and the house is decorated with style and comfort in mind. We plan to return again with our family in the future!

This house is so elegant and lovely. The view of the ocean from the upper level is amazing - we have stayed in many beach houses and I have never seen a better view. The home is beautifully decorated and sparking clean. We will definitely return!

We really enjoyed the property and plan to stay there again. Exellent location on the Island, great security, fabulous views of the beach and ocean, great settup with moat bedrooms on second level and master on top living area which allowed some separation yet all together, especially great for little children, pool was warm and great. Can't wait to return!!!

But that’s a personal preference. We didn’t love waiting in line to pickup a car pass to get to our house. And we thought the $25 cash for a car pass should be somehow handled between the property manager/owner and the subdivision given the price of house. We also wished for beach towels to be provided at a beach house. But those were small inconveniences. Overall, this property is TOP NOTCH. A must stay. We hope to go back.

It was magical!!
We spent 8 days at 10 Iron Clad and it was perhaps are best vacation ever! Property layout was perfect for 16 of us. Ocean view was amazing. Property Manager was responsive when we needed him. We hired a chef to cook dinner as well. Only improvement I could recommend is better cookware for the large group the home holds. We will be back!

Spectacular Vacation Home
We have stayed in many, many beautiful homes on Hilton Head Island but 10 Iron Clad topped them all. The ocean views are absolutely spectacular. And the darling decor uses this as it’s dramatic background. We had 8 adults and 8 children and had plenty of space for meals, games, lounging, etc. Easy, quick access to the beach. And we spent every evening on the top deck watching the sun go down. Will highly recommend to family and friends!

Beautiful house right on the beach! There was plenty of room for our large family gathering. We enjoyed sitting on the upper deck watching the sun rise and set each morning and night. Easy walk to the beach. The pool was in the shade in the afternoon which was nice. We rented bikes and enjoyed riding around the neighborhood. A fun trip!

A Week Too Short
Views are unbeatable. Furnishings are delightful and comfortable. Kitchen a smidge too small but workable - short on LARGE pots and pans. Ice makers do not function at peak performance rates. Bags of ice solved the problem. Pool area suffers from no spa and lack of a hand rail into the H2O. Loved the balcony for morning coffee after runs or beach walks and for after dinner conversation. Light bulbs were missing in some bedside lamps and bathroom fixtures. All for now.
