About this house rental
Three minute walk to one of Southern California's most beautiful beaches! This recently remodeled, very attractive, air conditioned 3-bedroom, 2 bath beach house is one half block from the sand and has beautiful wood floors throughout. The kitchen is fully equipped with top-of-the-line appliances, including stainless steel refrigerator, gas oven/stove, microwave, and dishwasher.
The master bedroom features a king size bed, flat screen TV, and master bath with large shower. The balcony overlooks Balboa, and is accessible from both the master suite and the landing at the top of the stairs. It allows guests to take full advantage of outdoor beach living - perfect for sunbathing, relaxing with a good book, or enjoying a sunset cocktail.

Our stay at the home was absolutely perfect. The house has all the amenities you would need, not just in a house but more specifically in a beach house. Plenty of beach towels, beach chairs, boogie boards, etc.
The location is about a 15 minute walk to the pier which was ideal, close enough but not too close with all the noise and people.
The bedrooms are all in the back of the house so you don’t hear any street noise at night.
If this place is available for the dates you need, book it right away, it’s perfect.

This house was perfect for us. We had two of my daughters friends come with us to celebrate her birthday. We had the upstairs and they had the bottom floor. Great location in between both piers. We rented bikes and had the best time. There was usually street parking also right outside

We spent 4 wonderful nights at this home in Newport Beach over 4th of July weekend. The property was exactly as described in the listing and was clean. It had everything we needed to cook and grill, as well as beach items such as chairs and umbrellas. The location is perfect and we were able to walk just about everywhere we wanted to go. If we plan any future trips to Newport, we will absolutely stay here again!

Our family of six loved this cute and modern blue house in Newport. This house has two bathrooms, which is a must with four kids, AC, upgraded modern look, washer and dryer and master bedroom has its own space upstairs. The location is great as well and our kids could walk to the beach from the sidewalk easy. Host was great to work with. Bonus there’s parking in the garage. We will definitely consider staying here again!

Our family truly enjoyed staying in this beach house. The beach house itself had lots of room and the kitchen had everything you could ask for. Bonus was a large garage where you could park a car as well as store your bikes. The beach is so close to the house. I would highly recommend this home to any and all friends and family.

We found the home so inviting and relaxing. I would have liked to stay longer! The bedding and towels were quality. The rooms were spacious and clean. The kitchen was stocked with items like a crockpot, spices, lots of pots and pans, etc. We mostly sat at the island to eat as the table inside was a bit small for all of us, but there is a large outdoor table where we enjoyed dinners. Off the master bedroom upstairs was a very large balcony to hang out on; it can also be accessed from the hallway upstairs so people didn't have to go in the bedroom. It was great to be literally steps away from the beach (there are towels, beach chairs, boogie boards, etc. to use). We were also steps away from the walking/biking/running path that goes along the beach. Dolphins entertained us when we were at the beach traveling up and down the stretch of the beach. There is a grocery store about a mile away. It was helpful to have an assigned parking garage; if you are renting a car a larger vehicle than an intermediate SUV won't fit in it. There is free parking on the Balboa St. side, just not always as easy to find if you come back later in the afternoon/night. We have rented places in Rome, Italy, Florence, Italy, Missouri, South Dakota, Naples, FL, Charleston, SC, San Diego, CA, Dustin, FL, etc. My husband and I decided that this place ranks as definitely one the best places where we have stayed.

We loved the home. It had historic charm with updated finishes. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen was well-stocked. It was clean and comfortable.
We liked having garage parking, but found it was easy to walk to the beach, jet ski rentals, the Fun Zone and whale watching.

We had so much fun staying here. The location is ideal. Just a 2 minute walk to the beach, and a 15 minute walk to Balboa Pier. The beds were all comfortable, and the kitchen and living room area are very nice for preparing meals and relaxing. The master bedroom is on the upper floor with the other two bedrooms on the lower floor, which is perfect to create some separation for a couple of small families. We would definitely stay here again.

Kimberlee's vacation property was everything we expected, and more. The house is newly updated, beautifully furnished, and well-equipped for a comfortable stay.. The location is fantastic, a short trip from the airport, and walkable to the beach and many attractions. This is one of my favorite vacation rentals, and I hope to return in the near future!

Fantastic property and kind and accommodating owner/host! This was in an ideal location, the property is beautiful and has everything we needed and more. We had several travel delays because of weather and airline problems including over Christmas Day and luckily Kim was so kind and allowed us to stay over Christmas Day and the day after - so nice!!

Our family of five rented the property for six nights to enjoy the beach and visit for a family wedding. The location is bustling during the day, but super quiet at night. You’re very close to the water and a quick walk to either pier. If you don’t feel like walking everywhere, you can Uber all over the area for very reasonable prices. We enjoyed experiencing beach life as well as having all the conveniences of home on hand. We would definitely stay here again if we were in the area.

We had a wonderful stay. Location is great and easy access to the beach. Beds are very comfortable!!! Plenty of towels, toilet paper, etc. extra blankets provided. Shower upstairs is awesome! Super powerful and hot! Very clean. Little wear and tear on walls going upstairs and in the bathroom on the first floor but nothing that wouldn’t be expected in a rental property that gets a lot of use. :-). Very responsive when I asked for an extra key. Would definitely tstay again!

Wonderful beach house
We had a perfect time at this property for our family beach vacation. Everything about the house was as described, and we had everything we needed. The location was convenient to both of the main piers on Balboa Peninsula. The house is on the busy street, and so enjoying the patio out front meant listening to a lot of traffic noise. But, the bedrooms were quiet and the noise didn’t bother us inside the house. We would certainly consider staying here again in the future.

A wonderful New Year's stay!
We very much enjoyed our stay between Christmas and New Year. The weather was a bit cold and rainy during our stay so we did not get to enjoy the outdoor spaces as much as we would have liked. With the property being less than a block from the sand it would be an absolutely wonderful place to stay during the spring/summer/fall months!
We loved having the garage for parking but would sometimes utilize the on-street spaces out front if we were just unloading bags or groceries. Although we didn't really cook much the kitchen had everything we could possibly need. The seating area around the TV was plentiful and comfortable, and we were able to easily log on to our Netflix/HBO Max/Amazon Prime accounts.
Everyone in our party commented on how comfortable the beds were, and the water pressure in the upstairs shower was divine!
There were a couple of minor issues during our stay (nothing that impeded our enjoyment, nothing that was the fault of the owner) but everything was resolved quickly and effortlessly.
We would not hesitate to stay here again on a future visit, and highly recommend this property to anyone planning an upcoming vacation.

Location, Location, Location
We recently spent a week for our kids fall break. We stayed in in a different VRBO across the street last year. If you have children, not having to cross the street is a big plus.
The house is perfect for a family of 5. The location is steps away from the beach and situated off 10th street midway between the piers.
We brought our own bikes and outdoor toys etc. I would recommend renting or bringing your own sand toys, boogie boards, bikes etc. The only criticism that I have (which isn't much) is that the owners may want to supply better boogie boards, sand toys and more sand chairs. A wagon would also be really helpful for families. Wagons can take up a lot of space when travelling.
Aside, we unfortunately stayed during the week that the oil spill occurred. The owners were very gracious and refunded us for the days that we lost due to the oil. Thankfully Newport did not have as much oil as nearby Huntington, but unfortunately the beach was closed after our third day. It did not appear that the cleanup would take too long and the beaches were supposed to open quickly. Obviously this was not the fault of the owner, so it was nice that they offered to refund us.
The property is top notch and the owners are great to work with.

We were in Calif. for our son's wedding, booked the house for the week so we'd have a central location to relax, settle in and enjoy some beach time.
We were able to have family & friends stop by before and after the wedding.
