This house is an amazing beach house. It reminds me of houses I stayed at as a child at the beach. Beautiful area, very private. Debra was wonderful to work with and we will definitely be back next year!

With our second time here this property and scenery did just what it needed. Rest and relaxation with a beautiful backdrop

The house was great. The location was good, if you like the out of the way places...which we do. Maybe a little hard to fine, but we enjoyed our little get away very much.

Very clean and exactly as described online. The view up top is phenomenal and the breeze is wonderful on all the porches and the top deck.
Definitely would recommend staying here. Close to the Hunting Island state park beach and also to Beaufort and Port Royal!

The place and observation deck was amazing. The neighbors dogs and chickens were intrusive and the location was not as expected. The walk to the beach was difficult to find and the beach area was small and very muddy at times

This was our second time at house and we enjoyed our stay here just as much as last time. I love the fact that it is pet friendly, the neighborhood beach is nice to walk. We used the Hunting Island State Park pass every day to go swimming in the ocean. We also enjoyed bird watching from the rooftop deck as well as from the comfort of the dinning table through the large windows. Great place for a family vacation!

I love this property! It's private, secluded but in a neighborhood with shaded dirt roads to walk my dog. I love the observation deck, multiple screen porches, proximity to Hunting Island State park (use of park pass). We cook meals there in kitchen, gas grill outside. We have stayed her multiple times and always enjoy.

Was a nice home and close to the beach. The only downside was the neighbor, be ready to not feel welcomed by them, wow. The home was clean, nice yard and scenic over the marsh.

This was our second stay in this home. That’s probably “enough said”. But…. We love the privacy, the location and the fact it is pet friendly. Our stay was a week long and we rarely left the screen porch. Morning walks at sunrise on the beach every morning were wonderful. The pass for Hunting Island was also very much appreciated. The house is well equipped. And very clean.

The house was spotless, quiet, and had what we needed. It’s a short walk to the beach which is hermit crab friendly but too muddy and covered in clam shells for enjoying the water. We were nearby Hunting Island Park and enjoyed having access to its amazing features. We also visited a nearby fort and Cypress wetlands. Good stay.

The home was very peaceful. We saw wildlife and had multiple options for viewing from 2 covered porches and a top deck. Very nice

Perfect for those looking to disconnect from the everyday grind and take some time to relax. Stunning, quiet location. The screened in decks cannot be beat.

This house on Saint Helena Island is an oasis in the trees, a short walk to a quiet beach, 15 min drive to Hunting Island State Park ( a gem of a place), and a 25 min drive to downtown Beaufort! Listening to the birds singing in the morning and watching the sunset was part of my early morning routine from one of the porches. Just an FYI there are multiple levels to this house, so the stairs will help keep you fit! It is a little uncomfortable/quirky, at first, coming and going through the shared private driveway, but I didn’t have any problems with the neighbors, however do be aware that their dogs do bark at times, but they are fenced in.

I enjoyed my stay at the house. It was perfect for the few days we were there for a Marine graduation. It had amazing views. Check in was easy.

We loved the residential, out of the way woodland location that was still only 20 min to stores and restaurants. At the end of a quiet sand track backing up to a marsh (perfect deer and bird-watching) with a roof-top deck for wonderful sunrises and star-gazing. Comfortable and clean, well-appointed house...we felt right at home and had a 10 minute walk to the local dog-friendly beach. Our host was very informative and responsive. We will certainly stay again.

Loved the house and location. I always bring hand soap, I know that’s strange, but most places don’t have it. They had it in both bathrooms and the kitchen. Plenty of trash bags, dishwasher tabs, everything you would ever need!was warned about the neighbors barking dogs. Not really a big deal…..
Would recommend this house….very nice

Loved walking our dog to the nearby beach and the views from the house. There was sufficient space and kitchen facilities for the 6 of us and our dog.

House was a great place for our trip! Had all the amenities we needed, was clean and comfortable. Good communication with host. We would love to return. Thank you so much.

Our family was very comfortable and in need of nothing except more time for vacation. The second floor porch with chase lounge siting in the tree tops was great. The sunsets/stars at night and ocean/marsh in the widow peak. Great time in town, great time in state park. Very pretty drives. Every thing was as stated and visible in pictures. We reluctantly didnt bring our dog, wish we did. Neighbors dog is unfortunatly constantly barking. Thank yall so much for sharing your property!

Cool end of road marsh home with lots of space. Very clean!

This trip was solely to bring our boat to the coast to explore. The house was just perfect, very spacious, well stocked and clean. The screen porches are a must on the marsh. Lots of seating everywhere, inside and outside. Just all around very comfortable house. Pleasant walk to the beach close to many boat landings. We will be back!
Only tiny issue is the property is very tight to maneuver turns with a boat trailer. It is doable and we managed.

Really wonderful, quiet property. Exactly what we were hoping for and we are looking forward to another trip.

It is as advertised and we really enjoyed our stay! The house was comfortable and clean. The views from the third story tower were remarkable. Loved all the wildlife that we saw too, including the chickens next door. :-) Screened porches very welcome with all the mosquito activity. Enjoyed watching mysteries at night while overlooking the marsh. Kitchen had everything we needed - we particularly appreciated use of the Keurig and French press. Outdoor shower was helpful after trips to beach and proximity to beach was great, with the beach a block over from Heron and also Hunting Island which we've always loved. Grateful for use of the park pass! Also, we are always thankful for dog-friendly vacation spots. No problem with neighbors. We'll definitely consider booking again!

The house was fine. Not quite as nice as pics look. My only issue was neighbors were displaying their guns in the driveway and the sheets were not clean. I spent the first day washing every single bed downstairs. Thankfully there were supplies onsite to do that. Would not revisit this property.

This property was exactly what I've been looking for. There was plenty of room for my 81-year-old mother, her brother, my two teenage daughters, myself, and my 70 lb dog. Many " pet friendly" rentals seem to only allow smaller dogs and I was pleasantly surprised when I found this place would allow me to bring all of my family. There is a local beach a short walk away where I could walk my dog in the mornings and it proved to be a good spot to put our inflatable kayaks and my stand up paddle board into the water to paddle around a bit. The host provided pass into Hunting Island State Park was great, allowing us free entry to access the beach where living sand dollars can be found along the ocean floor and I did a little body surfing with the lighthouse overlooking our activities. There had been an issue with one of the electrical circuits tripping a breaker because of damage to an outdoor tree light in a storm the previous weekend. The host called me on my way down to the beach to inform me of the trouble and when I got to the house she instructed me how to turn that off so that the rest of the circuit would work properly for us during our stay. So a potential issue became a non-issue. The whole family had a wonderful time and I do believe we will come back in the future.

Beautiful home and location. The screened in porch was awesome. The kitchen was well equipped and overall the home was very comfortable.

Was able to disconnect, TV with dish but we did not turn on. Great Wi-Fi, so I was able to check in with work, daughter to work on research paper when we “wanted too”. Quiet, relaxing, but still close walk to almost private beach, we had it to ourselves majority of time, with white powdery sand. Is a 15 minute drive for groceries, but your on vacation so breakfast, lunch, snacks. 30 to 45 minute drive to Beaufort and other surrounding islands with excellent casual restaurants and gift shopping. Only thing I would do differently next time is rent a golf cart because we carry so much to beach so that’s on me ;)
Recommend gift shopping:
The Tabby Shore Gift Boutique
Low Country Store (on way to Beaufort)
Scout’s (have a sweet tea float)
Recommended dining:
St Helena - Beedo’s (real hamburgers and onion rings)
Beaufort - Plum’s, Wren’s, Bull Tavern
Port Royal - Fish Camp
Next time:
Low Country Market, Lost Local
Things to do:
Sea Island tours
Go and experience the beauty of the low country!

Great location - close to Hunting Island Park, Coastal Expeditions kayaking, Lady's Island Dockside Restaurant. Great property manager! Beds were comfortable for all. Kitchen was well stocked with utensils, flatware, plates, etc. Private beach is a short walk away. The screened deck was our hangout, many special memories made!

We have stayed at this property a few other times over the years. We love how it it remote, private, yet close to our favorite beach/park- Hunting Island. Great shaded road to walk our dog. Beautiful views from upper deck. It is perfect size for us and adult children.

We had a wonderful stay. Loved the beachy vibe of the house. Plenty of space to relax, especially on the screen porches. Kitchen nicely appointed, beds very comfortable. We bought fresh fish to cook at Gay’s Fish and kayaked with Coastal Expeditions, both just minutes away. Just a 5 min walk from the beach. Hunting State Park just over the bridge was beautiful and dog friendly. Beaufort was really nice for dining and shopping on Bay St. Highly recommend

Came here for a quick getaway to relax and enjoy the pet friendly beach. The house was clean and quiet. You are surrounded by nature and you feel like you are so remote but you are just a short drive to many cute local restaurants and just a few minutes walk to a local beach where not many people are around which is perfect for your dogs! Debra was so easy to communicate with and the house had everything you needed. I would go back in a heartbeat. Highly recommend!
