Phoenix on the Bay Condo 1516 in Orange Beach, Alabama. Enjoy your stay in a coastal themed penthouse condo on the top floor (5th) with a spectacular view of Terry Cove Bay and Perdido Bridge from your oversized balcony. Several updates have been made in the last few years to accommodate our guests.

New refrigerator, stove, microwave, washer, and dryer are some of the changes we have made to make your stay a vacation you will remember. Relax in the whirlpool tub in master bathroom or in one of two comfortable recliners after a busy day at the pool, beach, fishing or boating. The living room includes a queen size sofa sleeper, 2 sitting chairs and 2 recliners. The large dining room table seats 6 with 2 bar stools for additional guests. This large 2 bedroom, 2 bath unit sleeps 8 and comes stocked with a chef-ready kitchen, 3 flat screened TVs, and wall hairdryers in each full bath. Look at the great view from a large oversized balcony with table, swivel rocker chairs, and a reclining lounger. There's also a laundry room in the condo with a full size washer and dryer for your convenience.

There are so many other amenities including: a lazy river, several pools, large water slide, kiddie pool, indoor heated pool, hot tubs, a lighted tennis court and pickle ball court on the roof, a basketball hoop, grilling area, putting green, fitness center, and sauna. Alabama beaches are very close by car or boat. Lots of nearby islands are awaiting you by boat or kayak. The grounds are immaculate and beautifully landscaped with palms, tropical plants, and spectacular lighting. Sit on the docks or fish off the docks. The covered parking garage is near the condo for conveniently unloading luggage and groceries. There are great restaurants, shopping, and entertainment within a few minutes drive. *A parking pass must be purchased in lobby upon arrival for $59/vehicle (limit 2). This is required for all rental guests per Phoenix on the Bay Association and subject to change.

Phoenix on the Bay offers boat trailer parking for $10/day, if available.

Www.gulfcoastrentalco.com also has parking on Canal Road next to Dollar General. Call 251-510-7226. A boat slip may be available, if requested at time of booking. A boat launch is conveniently located on site. There is also a fish cleaning station for your use. Ice is available to buy onsite at the fish cleaning station.

The weather was bad for us as it rained most of the time. Will never book in September again. Got to enjoy the lazy river the first afternoon we arrived, but it was closed the next couple of days. We actually left a day early because of the weather. Wish we could have received a refund for that last day.

Room is well decorated and has everything you need. Roll away beds were very useful and the girls said they were really comfy. Room was clean and the booking and check in was a breeze. Love the location of the room. Room was quiet and bedrooms dark, set an alarm or you will sleep the day away! I hope to be back soon! The boat dock was an added bonus and an easy walk!

Our 5th floor unit was well appointed, plenty of silverware, plates, bowls, etc. We did opt to cook several meals - and everything we needed was available.Comfortable beds, clean surroundings, spacious bathrooms, plenty of towels, etc. As for the property, they offered multiple pools (indoor and outdoor), hot tubs, a very fun slide into the pool (fun for all ages). This is a kid-friendly resort. We had a full size washer and dryer, which we used a couple of times. The rental does not provide beach towels. Would my wife and I return, quite possible, and my wife and her sister are already making plans to stay here again. Finally, excellent communication pre-arrival by the agent in charge. We had almost zero questions, and the unit was exactly as described. Very enjoyable and pleasant.

My children were so in love with the condo and everything it had to offer. The unit was very clean and had a great view. My only slight complaint I would have is the master mattress is very firm. Some may like it but it was to hard for me, other than that everything was perfect.

This unit was even nicer than the pictures on VRBO. Very nicely decorated. Very nice furnishings. Was especially grateful for the bedside night stands that had built in power strips that came in handy for my CPAP and electronics that I had to charge nightly. The unit was in great shape. Will definitely stay at this unit again.

First off, great location. This unit was especially nice as it has a nice view of the bay and it situated in a spot that when the sun goes down, you are not blasted by the afternoon heat. We loved the easy access door code. The unit is well stocked. It's also very roomy for 4 adults. We would have liked to have had 4 pool towels available though, or possibly tell people in the VRBO listing to bring pool towels (though that would be inconvenient when flying in, as we did). Another huge positive was that both bedrooms are really dark and easy to sleep late in. Huge bonus! Overall we enjoyed our stay and definitely will be back! I know the front desk staff has nothing to do with this specific rental, but they are not very friendly at all. I found this odd. But, I also understand that finding good help these days can be very difficult and totally out of the owners control.

We enjoyed our stay. The pool, water slide, lazy river and boat slip access made our trip. We had great/hot weather. The condo was very clean! A couple electrical outlets didn’t work and some lights didn’t either (nothing that truly impacted our stay), but other than that it had everything we needed. The view from the balcony was wonderful.
