About this villa rental
Luxurious, dream beach getaway on stunning Kiawah Island! Oceanfront Mariners Watch 3 bedroom villa w/ direct beach access (#4202). Gorgeous, and completely renovated (2019) three bedroom villa is one of the cypress and cedar-shingled Mariner’s Watch Villas reminiscent of turn-of-the-century seaside cottages. Offering the closest villa location to the beach and ocean and featuring a private staircase leading from the rear deck directly onto the boardwalk.
This first floor oceanfront villa features a spacious, open floor plan with breathtaking ocean views from the kitchen, living area, and the master suite. The natural light-filled Great Room showcases white, beamed ceilings, sprawling ocean views, beachy décor, and access to the rear deck through a series of wall-to-wall glass doors. The deck features new furnishings!
The fully appointed, sizable kitchen features everything a chef would need; glass-top range, freestanding icemaker, built-in oven and microwave, ample counter space and a breakfast bar perfect for grabbing a bite before heading out to the water. There is a traditional coffee maker as well as a Keurig. Best of all, the kitchen is open to the Great Room, so the chef won't ever miss a part of the fun or conversation.
The master suite features a king bed, large closets, and attached bath with dual-sink vanity and privacy room for the walk-in shower and toilet. The second guest room boasts two bunk bed sets and attached bath. The third guest room has a queen bed with attached bath.
Not pictured is a utility room housing a new, High Efficiency, front loading, full-sized washer & dryer.
A tank-less water heating system (Rinnai) provides continuous hot water throughout the villa; regardless the number of users.
The home features free WiFi network access and cable TVs are located in the living area and all three bedrooms.
There is no grill available, nor is one allowed, due to Kiawah Island safety regulations imposed upon villas.

This is our second stay at this same Mariners Watch Villa. We highly recommend this rental. Lovely updated decor that looked every bit as lovely as it did on our last stay 2 years ago. The villa is spacious and comfortable. The reservation and check in process went without a hitch.

The cottage/villa was as promised and better. The ocean views from the main living space and outside porch were outstanding. The layout, furnishings and amenities of the property had no shortcomings. Access to the beach was quick. Being on the first floor meant you could walk out the rear of the unit and be on the boardwalk quickly. We look forward to another visit.

Incredible stay. The ocean views and calming sound of the ocean was the perfect antidote to the winter doldrums. Kiawah and 4202 MW is a great place to spend enjoy all that Kiawah has to offer. ESPM was incredibly responsive and made sure our stay went smoothly.

Our family love this condo so much! It is the most comfortable, tastefully decorated and relaxing place we have ever vacationed. We have stayed there three times and are able to book it for a 4th. The proximity to the beach, the location on the island and being near Night Heron park and the new Nest marketplace is perfect. We love riding our bikes to the park, on the beach or on the trails and this condo is in the middle of it all. You will love staying here!

Clean, beautifully decorated condo that feels very spacious and comfortable for 8 guests (4 adults, 4 kids). Never felt crowded. Loved the ocean views, coffee on the deck every morning and beachfront access. We felt like welcomed guests of the McFee family. Kiawah Island has so many activities available through the Golf Resort. Would have loved if we could have purchased access to the Night Heron pool, and would have loved to bring a small, hypoallergenic dog along for a fee, but otherwise a perfect vacation. Highest recommendation!

This was our second year in a row renting a unit at Mariner’s Watch (different units, but both rentals were through ESPM). We love Mariner’s Watch and plan to go back. It’s hard to beat the tranquility and proximity to the beach that is offered by that particular development. Overall our stay this year was great; however, the unit was not clean. There were remnants of food trailing down the cabinets under the sink (and along several cabinets within the kitchen); remnants of dried up food and drink on one of the bunk beds located in one of the bedrooms; dirty utensils and glasses in the drawers; the potholder looked like someone backed a pizza on top of it; and the remains of dead roaches located inside the under-cabinet ice maker. Also the ice maker and fridge filters need to be changed. Not at all what you would expect when renting a place; especially considering the money (five figures) spent to rent one of these units for a week. We were grossed out and disappointed to say the least; however we took it upon ourselves to clean all of these items (filters still need to be changed) and move one with our vacation. Contrast this with the other Mariner’s Watch unit we rented in 2021 and it’s night and day. That unit was extremely clean.
Management needs to do a better job ensuring their units are cleaned and maintained properly. Again, the location and views are excellent (only reason we can recommend); however we would’ve enjoyed this unit and our trip better had the unit been cleaned properly. We’re on the fence on whether we’ll rent from ESPM going forward.

Luxury Getaway
We had our two adult daughters and their friends for a total of 6 adults. This beach side condo was the perfect size for all of us. It was very clean and updated. Good sized bedrooms, bathrooms, and exceptional fully equipped kitchen. We loved the first level being right on the boardwalk with the views of the ocean. This was our fourth time to stay on Kiawah Island and the first to rent through VRBO there. The excellent location was well worth the stay and we didn’t miss not having access to the Kiawah Resort pool. There were plenty of other things to enjoy but especially being right on the beach!

We had a wonderful week at this condo. The condo is beautifully decorated in a beach feel that is elegant and not kitschy. The couches, beds, blankets, everything is very comfortable. The condo has been very well taken care of and the housekeeping team have done a great job. The owners have done a great job of making this condo feel like home and made us absolutely feel like we were home. We wish it was ours. Also, working with Hillary at ESPM was an absolute pleasure. She is so timely, informative, personable and a true professional . We absolutely loved our stay and will be back!
