About this house rental
This beautiful townhouse is in the perfect location to enjoy all Grand County has to offer! We are only a 3 minute walk down the Vasquez Creek bike path to the center of Winter Park where there are plenty of shops and restaurants. Hideaway Park, the site of a sled riding hill and skate park for the kids, is only a 2 minute walk. The new Winter Park Music Pavilion is also located in Hideaway Park and is the site for a series of concerts all summer long. For skiers, there is a shuttle stop less than 100 yards from the townhouse that will drop you right at the base of the Winter Park Ski Resort. If you prefer to drive yourself, it is only a 5 minute drive to the main parking lot at the resort. The townhouse is located right on Vasquez Creek, so any guests interested in fly fishing can walk right out the door and fish the Vasquez or walk 2 minutes to Confluence Park, where the Fraser River offers some of the best fly fishing in Colorado.
Other nearby winter activities include the tubing hills at Winter Park and Fraser, which are only 5 miles away. There are several snowmobiling companies based in Winter Park, Fraser, and Grand Lake, which is about 40 minutes from Winter Park and boasts the best snowmobiling in Colorado. There are also cross country skiing trails, sled dog rides, and sleigh rides all within 5 miles of Winter Park.
In the summer, there are many hiking and biking trails accessible from the townhouse. There are also hundreds more hiking trails all around Grand County that provide a variety of terrain. The Colorado River is only 30 minutes away and offers great white water rafting an float fly fishing trips. For boaters, Granby Lake, Shadow Mountain Lake, and Grand Lake are all within 45 minutes of Winter Park and offer motor boat rentals, kayaking, and wind surfing.
In addition to the perfect location, our townhouse has four glorious floors of beauty and top end furnishings that create a spacious and relaxing spot to retreat. The townhouse comfortably sleeps 10+. It has a main floor living area, gourmet kitchen and dining area, plus a complete entertainment room and second living area downstairs. The unit has two master suites with king size beds and private bathrooms, a main level bedroom with a queen bed, and a bunk room with two bunks and a trundle bed. There is also a loft office area and two HUGE decks for entertaining.

The property was as described and worked well for a group of friends to get together and ski. It is walking distance to several restaurants in town and there are 5 levels to the house people can spread out for sleeping.

Great spot right near downtown with everything you need. Was able to hop on the Winter Park mountain shuttle right outside our front door every morning. Would defintely come back and stay again

We had a wonderful time in this lovely home. It was convenient to the ski shuttle and nearby restaurants and shopping, very short drive to Winter Park and Fraser, comfortable, clean, and well-appointed. The owner was very easy to work with and responsive to any questions that came up. We would definitely love to stay here again.

Great townhouse close to town and the park, perfect for Winter trips to go sledding. Short walk to the Lift stop (Ski shuttle).
House is perfect for a large family as the floors are spread out (just be ready to get your steps in going up and down the 5 levels of the house). Every amenity and item you could think of in the kitchen.
Very thankful that the kitchen is well stocked - it's like walking into your own home. Hot tub and grill are in nice working order. Lots of toys and games for the family (my toddler had a blast with all the toys).
Only downside is the garage is occupied and not for use. You can access it though to store skis and items but can't park a car. Ultimately this wasn't a big deal but having to clean off the car every day from overnight snow dumps was a bit of a pain.
Would definitely stay here again.

We spent Christmas in Winter Park, and this property was a fantastic home base for our holiday ski trip. We have stayed at many VRBO properties, and this home was by far the most well-appointed with all of the supplies and amenities you might need when away from home. The owners have not missed a single detail. We had two families in our party, both with young children, and this home felt incredibly comfortable and spacious. Two master suites is a huge bonus for multiple families. You can’t go wrong with this booking!

Seriously - from the kitchen to baskets that have handwarmers in them to the toiletries provided, everything about this property is exceptional. Location was great. Townhouse had plenty of room for three families. Each family was able to have their own floor and private bathroom. Kitchen was well equipped with everything you could need. Owners were very responsive and easy to communicate with. 100% would stay here again!

Met my daughter, her fiancé and family for a Christmas ski vacation. 11 of us stayed at the property and it was perfect! Accommodations were very comfortable for a group our size. Stocked with everything you could need. Communication with the owner was great! I had an issue with changing the setting on the hot tub and was able to get that resolved on Christmas Day! I look forward to staying here again!

Christmas with family!

Last minute trip turned out to be a great idea. Celebrated a birthday away from town. Enjoyed LOTS of time on Lake Grandby and Grand Lake. House had everything and more! Will be coming back for sure!

Great house and perfect location
Loved the house and it’s location. Very short walk to the main part of Main Street and being on the creek, with the sound of flowing water, was amazing. The house was very nice and very well stocked. Bill was great to work with and very accommodating. Would definitely stay here again for my next trip to Winter Park! There are hiking trails in every direction of this house, and just a few minutes walk away.

Superlative 60th Birthday Family Weekend by The Creek
Thanks so much for a truly memorable stay at your spacious, well-equipped Townhome. 4 levels of living. All beds and pullouts comfrey. Kitchen (and we are cooks) was well-equipped and thank you so much for sharing your spices and other cooking basics that we usually do not find in other rentals.
Going to sleep with the Vasquez Creek flowing made for peaceful slumbers. Outdoor balconies and furnishings very nice.
We hiked Mt. Flora...not too distant and at 13,100 ft. A good moderate climb with beautiful flowers along the way. White Water rafted on Cleark Creek with Mad Adventures. Great outfitter.

Riverwalk Winter Park
Great well-equipped property in heart of Winter Park with walking access to town and hiking just outside the door. We loved the deck, hot tub, comfortable beds and Vasquez Creek being out the back door. Plenty of room and privacy for everyone and 4 baths. Kitchen had everything you need to cook at home. Bill and Marybeth were such a pleasure to work. Answering any question quickly and had plenty of suggestions for restaurants, activities etc. Thanks so much for sharing your beautiful home!! Dad will not forget his 90th birthday celebration.

Wonderful location in Winter Park..... close to walking in town, hiking the mountains, and biking the trails. Fully furnished with kitchen and bath essentials. Best feature is the stream running through the back of home....provided soothing background noise to listen to throughout the day! We very much enjoyed our stay here!
