Breakers East is located in the heart of Destin, across the street from 'Big Kahuna's Water Park'. Walk to fast food Dunkin Donuts/Baskin Robbins, Chick-fil-a, Waffle House, Shakes, Mellow Mushroom Pizza, and Subway. Blalock Seafood Market is just a block to the west. 'The Track' is located just a few blocks from the go-carts, miniature golf, arcade, bumper boats, bungee jumping. For rainy days Rave movie theatre and "Uncle Buck's Fish Bowl" bowling is located in Destin Commons shopping center or bowling at "Hurricane Lanes" located at the corner of Mathew Blvd/Hwy 98. Close to golfing, world class cuisine, Silver Sands outlet mall, parasailing, dolphin cruises, and much more.

Condo was clean and smelled great when we entered. It was 100 ft away from the beach and was great for the kids to have fun. View from balcony was amazing. Didn’t know that we need reservations for front row chairs on the beach. Except that we would come back again. We had three kids at age 9,7 and 5. All had wonderful experience. Seamless experience on getting into the condo even at midnight and felt more safer than anything. They haf also trolley at front which helped us to move items to 8th floor with ease. Overall, will recommend to anyone who wants to enjoy Destin

This was our 4th time coming to Destin, but our first time staying at Breakers East. The location was great. Love being right on the beach. The condo was very nice and clean. The rooms along with the balcony was much bigger than our previous condos we’ve stayed at. Beds were very comfortable and we really enjoyed having games and puzzles available during our stay. The only issue was with the elevators. We were told they were new, but every day they were working on them so only one was working most days. Overall it was a great stay. We did not have any issues with our condo during our stay.

Absolutely love BE! We have already booked for next year:) The condo is great, plenty of space, equipped with everything needed. Balcony is right on the beach and I was able to keep an eye on the teenagers without having to walk to the beach with them. My 6 yo had plenty of toys to play with on the beach and we added to the collection when we left.

The condo was great! We’ve stayed at numerous condos in Destin, and this one was the cleanest by far! No sand on the floors and the property was in great shape! We’ll definitely be staying here again.

We had a multi-family vacation here along with family members in other units and planned meals for the week. This rental had every little thing we needed to cook and serve a large group. You could easily serve a Thanksgiving meal here if you wanted. We felt at home the entire time. Aside from the thoughtfulness of how the condo was furnished, the rental was clean and spacious and beautiful. The location could not have been more perfect. We hope to make this a tradition!

We loved Breakers East , condo was beautiful everything so clean and had everything we needed. The grounds were well maintained and beautiful! ! The best part was the Wal-mart pickup and putting your refrigerated items up was soooo wonderful this is the best service ever!!!!!!
The only thing I wish was their elevators always had one down out of only 2 at all times . We were on 8th floor which was not an easy hike for using the stairs. However these things happen.

My wife enjoyed the condo for Mother's Day weekend. Parking close to the building. Enough carts to wheel your items to the room. Easy access to the room and the beach view from the balcony is wonderful. Thanks for the complimentary beach chair and umbrella rental.

We stayed in this condo last year for the winter and requested 805 again for this winter as we appreciate that its owner will allow snowbirds for the winter months !! This unit was clean when we arrived and supplied with everything you might need - it is beautifully decorated, very comfortable furniture and has a kitchen that is fully stocked ! The location is perfect and we have an amazing beach view from our balcony. The Assistant at the Beach management is very helpful and takes care of any problems that arise .... We would recommend condo 805 here at the Breakers East to anyone looking for a great stay in Destin!

We enjoyed the condo very much and it was very nice and clean all except the floors! The floors were very dirty, we could not go bare feet because our feet would be black in no time, had to wear shoes in the condo to keep them clean! I was not about to mop and clean floors on vacation either! Everything else was good but I hate I paid to have the condo cleaned and then we couldn’t even go bare feet in it the whole three days!

Our second time staying in this condo was another success. It is beautiful, spactious and furnished with books to read and games for the family to enjoy. The view from the balcony is exceptional! I was soo glad I was able to book this condo again for our summer vacation.

Absolute perfect set up. 805 was equipped with anything you may need. Only one elevator was functioning BUT that wasn’t a problem for us, we are patient and understanding. Perfect beach view and beach access. Location is within walking distance to so many places. Planning our next trip already! We loved our stay at BE805.

Pros: Great location, spacious, great parking spaces, clean quiet beach, booking was easy and the owner was very nice. Close to shopping, Walmart and tons of attractions for the kiddos.
Cons: Terrible smell through out the condo. Smelt like something wet, old or mildewed. No matter what we sprayed the smell was bad. Definitely need some freshening up. No pantry so we had to keep all our snacks on the kitchen counter which took up a lot of space. Aches and pains due to how the beds slept. Very very uncomfortable . Stains on the couches and the bedroom throw pillows. We had to do a lot of wiping up. Master bedroom door would not shut close. I think the condo is holding moisture. My son opened what we thought was a closet and was actually the door to the room beside us. He walked right into their room. One of the elevators stayed down most of our stay. Would not stay again .

Finally booked my long awaited beach vacation to Destin FL and our condo rental was so beautiful and clean. Everything needed was there. Thank You to the owner and management for a comfortable and relaxing property. There was only ONE big problem with our beach vacation -which was the beach disaster ... the horrible algae bloom in Destin. I know the condo owners really have no control over that issue, but it totally ruined our beach and water activity. By the end of the week the smell also became unbearable. I was devastated. This trip was to relax and heal at the beach from several years of taking care of family and suffering the loss of 2 of my beloved family members. I needed that fresh ocean breeze and beautiful Destin Beach Vacation.

We have been staying at Breakers East 2 Weeks each year for over 20 years. The location is great and the facility is small so the private beach is not overcrowded. We have stayed in numerous units over the years and they have all been nice and also clean and the booking agent Carolyn has always been good to work with. That said we were very disappointed with our stay in unit 805 in May of this year - The first morning we awoke to find all our groceries (cereal, cookies, candy, ect) that were on the bar tops were covered in ants. The first night when we got ready to go to bed my son and his wife pulled back the covers in the guest bedroom and it was obvious the bed sheets had not been changed from the previous occupants stay as the were badly wrinkled and the bed was FULL of sand. My wife had to strip the bed and wash the bed sheets before anyone could sleep in this bed. On top of all this the washing machine smelled (stunk) so bad you could smell it into the kitchen so we were afraid our clothes would smell like it if we used it to wash our clothes. There were also smaller issues with the cleanliness of the unit that I will not list. We are not giving this review to discourage anyone from staying at Breakers East and we are not at this time going to stop as we will be back in November (Different Unit) - we are only giving this review to be honest about this stay and to hope it will in some way help the management with oversight on the cleanliness of the units before new guest check in. Also I would like to mention that I know guest are not allowed to have animals in the units but owners are - In the previous 20 something years we have stayed at Breakers East we have seen very few dogs on the premises but during this stay we saw 7 different dogs - all on leashes - (and we were almost bitten by one as we were exiting the elevator) which seems like a lot of dogs on the premises at one time if they all supposably belong to only unit owners.

I don't have words to describe how nice this place was, the condo was sooo nice and the beach was the best . It is so clear and the sand feels like baby powder. The manager Carolyn was so nice. I would recommend using the grocery service that she offers we came in late at night and there was all of our stuff all put away she did a great job. The people at the condominium were all very nice it wasn't very crowded yet the beach was great!!!
