This amazing 3-bedroom, 2-bathroom vacation home rental is available weekly from Sunday to Sunday starting Memorial Day through mid-August and has all you need for a sublime vacation to Sullivan's Island—only a 250 yard walk to the beach!

Walk up the steps to the home and step onto the front porch area, which offers a screened-in area with ceiling fans, rocking chairs, and a four-seater dining set. Step through the front door and journey to the main open concept area of the home. Here you'll find the two living rooms and kitchen area, set in a cozy atmosphere with hardwood floors, wood-paneled walls, and wooden ceiling beams, giving the home a rustic touch.
The first living area is furnished with two plush sofas and a chair, creating a comfy sitting area where you can gather with your fellow travelers and enjoy one another's company. The second living area is furnished with a plush red sectional, a coffee table, and a flat-screen TV. There's an additional ceiling fan for added comfort, and the TV has YouTube streaming services for use.
This space flows into the kitchen, which offers a coastal cabin-like feel with its rich wood details. The kitchen is fully equipped, giving you the ability to whip up your own meals, from casual snacks like trail mix to full-blown meals like spaghetti with meatballs. High quality appliances make it easy, and you'll enjoy perks like a coffee maker. The washer and dryer are also conveniently located in the kitchen space. There's an inside dining set that can seat six, or you can journey out through French doors to dine al fresco in the back screened-in patio, which has a table with four seats and a gas BBQ. Outside the screened-in porch you'll find a wide deck, along with a huge grassy backyard.
Back inside, you'll find the three bedrooms. The first bedroom offers a queen-sized bed. In the second room you'll find a place perfect for the kids, as it's furnished with 1 twin single and 1 twin bunk set {the top bed has a 70 lbs. restricted weight limit - please do not use if weight exceeds 70 lbs.} The master bedroom offers a king-sized bed and a flat-screen TV, as well as a beautifully renovated bathroom in a modern style with a walk-in shower and double vanity.

Please note: After heavy rains the yard does flood. This is an island wide drainage issue and it typically just affects the back yard but the front may flood if it rains for a full day or more.
A few important notes to be aware: NO HOUSE PARTIES. NO SMOKING. No exceptions! There is a very strict noise ordinance policy on the island that goes into effect at 10pm on weeknights and 11pm on weekend nights. The 3 car limit is also strictly enforced. This house is a family rental and is located near year-round residents. This is not a rental home for bachelor/bachelorette events, wedding groups, youth groups, fraternities/sororities, receptions, or any other types of larger gatherings. We do NOT rent to students or anyone under the age of 25 - no exceptions - even if a parent or legally responsible adult makes the reservation. If such a group occupies or attempts to occupy the property, they will be required to immediately vacate and there will be NO refunds given.
This home is pet friendly. Dogs are considered with a $300 pet fee (per pet), applicable pet policy signed, and flea proof records received prior to arrival. Dog must be approved by Carroll Realty. Absolutely no cats or other animals are allowed. Any damages caused by the pet will be charged to the pet owner, and not paid by the pet fee.

We picked this listing because of the location on the island. It’s the perfect walking distance to restaurants and the beach. The property itself felt neglected. Furnishings are tired - chairs on the covered porch were falling apart. We had to move beds in order to plug in lamps that had been unplugged. The kitchen felt dingy and the crazy assortment of dishes felt like they were collected from Goodwill. A mat covered the drain in the primary bath (the only renovated room) where tiles were coming off of the shower floor.
I love an old beach cottage, but this place needs some attention.

This was our 3rd stay at this property. It’s right around the corner from the beach path and all the restaurants. We love that we can bring our fur family and it’s very comfortable. Have already booked again for March! Can be a little loud during the season because of location.

There were 4 adults and two dogs. We loved the home. Private fenced back yard, parking for 2 cars (easily) off street. Right across the street from downtown Sullivan’s Island, but pretty quiet. Less than 5 minute walk to beach.
Home is clean, very open. Love all the indirect lamp lighting options

Great stay! Location was perfect. Check in and out, super easy. Pet friendly was a must for us, and a nice fenced in yard was a huge bonus! Nice hose out back to wash puppy paws after long walks and we brought our own towels and blankets for the pups and a dyson just in case. We walked our pups everyday and to every meal, most all restaurants on the Main Street and everyone was very welcoming and food was delicious! The booking process through vrbo was a bit onerous… I purchased trip damage insurance for the “just in case” situation and “peace of mind,” only to find out there was some level of insurance already included. I also found after paying, out the pet fee, while I thought was high to begin with, was per pet thus, times two, and I was charged immediately after the fact (which is how it works but the amount of the fee caught me off). Since I only booked less than two weeks out, nothing was eligible refundable nor did I even ask. Over all, we had a great stay and it was a great location, but my cost was 2x with all the fees and I may have considered something else nearby.

My husband and I come to SI twice a year and this is our second stay at Rolling Tide! We love this charming beach house and so do our furry children. The fenced yard is fabulous, close proximity to the beach, breezy porches, and comfortable accommodations are awesome! Love the master bath renovation. Can’t wait to come back in December 😊

Charming Charleston Cottage
Photos do not do this property justice! It is much larger than we anticipated! The original floors, high ceilings with beams, two screened in porches, deck and huge fenced in yard gave our party of six adults plenty of room and privacy and the property so much charm. One block from the beach was perfect! Was so surprised it was only one block from the nightlight and restaurants! Very quiet! Loved it! Would love to stay here again.

True Old Style beach house
Two blocks from the beach, fenced in yard, allows dogs. Nothing fancy, but very comfortable. Third time we've stayed at this house. It is an older house, they all have issues at one time or another, but the property manager will get them fixed. We are pretty laid back, so it has to be awful to get us riled up - I mean, it's an older house. It has a grill, washer/dryer, AC and two screened porches near a bar and the beach - what more can you ask for? Also, the beds are pretty comfy as well.

The rental agreement mentions that the house comes without linen, but we missed it. The maintenance crew was so helpful in providing us with what we needed despite our late arrival time. We decided to rent again and paid attention to the reservation process online. We were never given the option to rent a linen package. So we called the property manager, Carroll Realty. They were very friendly but could not provide us with the linen package. They gave us the number for the cleaning crew to ask for a package. Once again, we called the crew and once again very friendly people! We reserved our linen package and will mail them a check.We appreciate how friendly everyone is and the charm of talking to so many of them but it does make for a cumbersome process. That is the only issue we have with the house and the reason for 4 stars instead of 5.

Perfect house for dog lovers
During this pandemic, we needed to get away but we had to bring our two Golden Retrievers with us. This house was perfect for our situation. We've rented other houses that accept the dogs on Sullivan's Island and IOP, but this was the best house yet. The entire lot is fenced, so there's lots of room for big dogs to run. We could walk to all the restaurants on the island to dine in or pick up takeout. We had only two concerns about the house: 1) For a beach house, it's really dark. There are very few overhead lights in the living areas of the house. The lamps help, but this house felt really dark to us. 2) The TV doesn't carry local channels. As a traveler, I like to tune in to local views. I was disappointed that we had no access to the local TV channels. Other than those issues, we really enjoyed staying here.

Sullivan's island close to the beach
This is a one block walk to the beach; and a one block walk to Sullivan's Island's commercial strip. Can't beat the location for not needing a car - though you are very aware that you are close to the local bar (even in covid times when everything is much quieter .. lot of shouting in the street and smashing of glass over there,,.) Excellent yard for a dog, and the front porch was perfect.

Location couldn’t be better. Minutes to town and to the beach. Accommodations were basic, but fine. Sheets from prior renters were on the porch when we arrived and were never picked up. Management company didn’t answer it return calls- which was disappointing. Despite this, the vacation was wonderful and Sullivan’s is a very special place!

Perfect Girls’ Weekend
We were so happy with our experience. From the very nice lady who gave us our keys at the realty office to the ease of dropping our keys off at the end of the weekend, the process was seamless. The location of the house was incredible. We walked to the beach access and the Main Street in under 5 minutes. The house is definitely a bit rustic, and a lot of the dishes in the cabinets were dirty, but it didn’t make too much of a difference to us. We brought our own sheets (the linen rental was pricey and seemed like a hassle) and bought some $10 beach chairs. We would rent here again in a heartbeat. Thanks for a great weekend!

Great location, spacious house, a little dusty
Pros: one block from the beach, spacious, plenty of room to spread out. Cons: when we arrived the house was dirty and dusty, sand on furniture, pet hair on surfaces, mold in coffee maker, garbages and recycling bins were overflowing, contents of kitchen cabinets looked like they had been thrown in, and many light bulbs were out. Realty company was not much help but they did send cleaning person to vacuum again. They did not address light bulbs, overflowing garbage or moldy coffee maker.

We last rented this house 4 years ago, but we haven't had the opportunity to stay there again when we've been back in the area until now. The location can't be beat, and it is very comfortable, with plenty of rustic charm. We hope to stay there again on our next trip!

I would stay there again. It was very easy to check in, and the house was very spacious. Walking distance to restaurants and bars. Walking distance to the beach. The only negative was the reservation was not clear about having to pay for linen service. Be sure to add that into your budget.

Perfect 2 week family vacation house
This is the perfect beach house for a family vacation. The house is large enough to accommodate a number of people and allows for everyone to sprawl out -- both inside and on the front and back screened porches. Your dogs will love the huge, fenced in yard. Walk out the back gate right to Dunleavy's side door and all of Sullivan's restaurant row. Head one block out the front gate, and you are at Station 22 1/2 beach. You could easily park your car (after a much needed trip to the grocery and liquor store) and never move it again. BUT, if you want to head into Charlestown, it is an easy 10 minute drive away. The only reason I didn't give the house 5 stars is because thehouse literally comes with nothing. Bring your linens (or rent) and make sure you think of anything you might need at the grocery. We rent houses several times a year, and typically there are non-perishables like seran wrap and tin foil left behind - not at this house. My guess is the cleaning crew takes it all. Rather than go to IOP Harris Teeter, I suggest you head to Mount Pleasant Publix; it's about 4 miles from the house and the produce is better. There is also a Whole Foods a bit further on in Mount Pleasant. We will definitely be coming back to this classic, easy living Sullivan's beach house!

Great house for any family. Near beach and restaurants......would never have to move car if you didn't want to! The top bunk bed had a sign that said weight limit was 70 lbs. That should be noted in description of beds Screened in porches were so nice! Big table to seat everyone and to sit and play games!

Wonderful location, within easy walking distance of beach and local restaurants. Plenty of space for families, with ample conveniences: washer, dryer, grill, screened porch with rockers, and hose for washing sandy feet from the beach. A great rental!
