"Great Are The Simple Things In Life" No Doubt you will experience this in our Brand New Cabin. You'll find that "Rooks Nook" features many personal touches, from the high-end antique distressed cabinets and furniture. "Rooks Nook" is a spacious 1500 sq. ft. log cabin, where the exposed beams and rustic wavy board siding were cut from pine trees cleared from the lot. The wrap around porch is inviting, with two wooden log swings and rocking chairs, with a black distressed finish. Also features a hot tub deck.
Two Bedroom Master upstairs with King Bed, Bathroom upstairs with tile shower, and Heart Shaped Jacuzzi tub. Pool table on Balcony.
Bedroom down stairs has a queen Bed, Bathroom across the hall downstairs with 5' tub shower. Sleeper sofa in Living room.
Located just minutes from Desoto State Park, Desoto Falls, Cloudmont Ski & Golf Resort, and Mentone, where you can enjoy shopping in many of the antique shops, also offering a variety of foods.

The photos do not do this place justice! Gorgeous, clean, secluded. We LOVED it! The ONLY downside was theres no cell signal. But they have wifi and unlimited long distance on a house line to compensate. Most places are bare bones, cheaper furnite. Not this place. There's sturdy built-ins and the place is solid. They have every amenity you could need although we brought everything we needed. 10/10 would recommend. Just be ready to drive a windy, mountain road but that's going to be any cabin in that area. Phenomenal!

This is hands down the most relaxing, well-stocked with utensils and drinkware, and immaculately clean place we have stayed.
Host were the best at communicating. Not that was anything other than me locking my phone in the cabin when leaving. She was so gracious in helping me retrieve it.
I usually don't go near the hot tub, BUT this was exceptionally clean and inviting!!
Convenient to stores and restaurants bit not too close.
Will definitely be coming back!!!

The property was just as it was described and was exactly what we wanted. The check-in process was easy and communication was excellent. The Rooks were available if we needed them and left multple ways to reach them. If you need a nice little place for a getaway, we recommend this little Nook! It's really close to Desoto Falls and the Salllie Howard Memorial Baptist Church. These are 2 landmarks we also recommend you visiting while here. Thank you, Kevin & Cynthia!

Love the cabin! So many unique, personal touches. Open and spacious, everything we needed. I love that local trees were used to build it.
Hosts were very responsive in answering questions, even had the cabin ready for us a bit early. Check in/check out were easy as can be!

We had an absolutely delightful time at this cabin. It was the perfect place to unwind and relax. The owners go the extra step to make us feel at home. We will definitely return.

What a gem, from the location to the comfortable bed! We so enjoyed our honeymoon stay. The cabin had everything you could possibly imagine. The owners were great at communicating, when needed. Sitting on the porch was heavenly, especially while watching the squirrels, birds and deer. Close to everything! We look forward to staying again.

This is our second stay at Rooks Nook. As expected, it was absolutely amazing. Cynthia went above and beyond to make the stay wonderful. Everywhere you turn there are bath and body lotions, sprays, soaps and even fuzzy socks for you. We spent lots of time in the hot tub and hours on end playing pool. A much needed get away from life just to reconnect and spend time together without life's interruptions. Thank you for an amazing time!

We loved everything about this cabin. It was super clean , fully stocked with everything you need. Check in was a complete breeze. Very peaceful area and the hosts were very nice! We will be back!

It was a very nice place and clean. The master bed up stairs needs a new mattress, it has a sunken spot in it and the foam on top just makes it harder to get out off.
The pool table needs a need mat and the table needs leveling up, had to readjust a few time using folder newpapers to level table. There were no scissors and the sharp knives were not sharp. But over all it was a nice clean stay. We didn't get to explore due to it raining most of the weekend. But we made do.

Rooks Nook is a lovely cabin in a wooded setting with everything needed for comfort and convenience. The location provides easy access to Little River Canyon and Falls, De Soto State Park, Miller Dam, Church-in-the-Rock, Mentone, and hiking trails. We enjoyed our stay immensely!

This cabin has everything you need for a great weekend in the woods! There were 4 of us and we had an amazing time sitting on the porch doing bible studies and watching deer, catching up in the hot tub and reminiscing in the living room. The owners had Bath and Body Works items everywhere which we loved, the kitchen was perfectly stocked, everything worked and we did not have a single problem all weekend. We are already planning our return.

Rooks Nook was the best cabin I have ever stayed. It was fully furnished plus more. The property was overall beautiful. We sat on the porch every morning to drink coffee and take in the beautiful sights and sounds of the property. We saw so much beautiful wildlife.we relaxed in the hot tub after busy days sightseeing, antiquing, and June Jam 2023. The beds were extremely comfortable and cozy. I was very sad to have leave such a beautiful and cozy place.

We booked this wonderful cabin on our yearly girls trip and we were so impressed with how personal and warm this cabin was! We had everything we needed and then some! The porch sitting was amazing!! I just cannot say enough good things about this place!! Would definitely recommend to anyone wanting to get away!!!

I booked this cabin for my 18th wedding anniversary. We checked in on a Friday afternoon and checked out on a Sunday afternoon. The check-in and out was such an easy process. The cabin was in clean and cozy. We had a fabulous time and are planning to come back with our boys. The porch is a nice place to drink your morning coffee and just look out at the woods. The cabin is also very close to town and Desoto Falls. I highly recommend this place for couples or families!

My family and I loved this place. It was tucked away, but not too far off the interstate. From hot tub, to pool table, to a spacious porch, to nearby hikes at DeSoto Falls, we all found things to enjoy and ways to relax.
Wish we could’ve stayed longer.
