Inlet Cove cottage has it all! Three blocks to the beach, pool, tennis and golfing and 23 miles of bike paths! The house comes with four bikes that we have available for your use.

Our family of 5 plus our dog enjoyed our week of vacation in this well appointed cottage. The host was very responsive to any issues. Would say the house could use a few more beach chairs, other than that we had every tee needed. The quiet, private inlet cove community was so pleasant. We would definitely return. Our kids especially loved biking around the island, on the beach, to fresh fields. The short walk to the beach was quick and convenient. The pool and dock area were very well kept and we enjoyed our time there. Looking forward to returning again.

Tom's place was perfect for a family getaway. The neighborhood is so pretty, surrounded by trees, and close to the beach. Unfortunately Hurricane Debby disrupted our travel plans, but Tom made sure we were safe, and he kept us up to date with all the weather alerts from Kiawah Island. We are 100% planning to stay here again in the future. Thank you, Tom!!

We’ve stayed in several different cottages in this neighborhood over the years and this 1 is now at the top of our list! It’s in a great location, the layout is great, and the kitchen is spacious and well-stocked. Tom was also a responsive and helpful host.

This villa is close to the beach and a beautiful, tranquil pool. The kitchen is very well equipped with loads of supplies not found in most places. A screened-in porch is the perfect place to relax and enjoy a meal. It's the ideal spot for a stay at Kiawah.

Enjoyed everything. Great communication with the property manager. He did a great job. House a bit wore, probably from constant renting.could use some fresh paint inside and update a few things. Enjoyed the bike paths, location to the ocean and pool. Sat down by the dock every night to enjoy the sunset.

The neighborhood is very charming and although the pool was closed this time of year, the neighborhood's river dock is a great place to fish, do some crabbing, or watch beautiful sunsets. The cottage is a very short walk or bike ride to the beach! That was the best part about the location. It was really nice to have access to the owner's bicycles as there are miles and miles of walking/bike paths on the island.

The house worked nicely for our family of four. We loved the access to the river for nightly fishing and kayaking. It is a haul to the dock with a kayak, though. Would be nice if there was sanctioned access to the spots where owners can leave their equipment right close by. We had brought our own kayak and SUP, but there are tours/rentals just up the river at Mingo point too. We were even lucky enough to see dolphins strand feeding at low tide. The pool access was great as well - relatively quiet and nice! The bikes were a critical feature, as we used them to get everywhere. Kiawah is very accessible by bike, and the beach and dock were walkable, but a little too far to do comfortably with a bunch of gear. On the plus side, one of the bikes included had a beach wagon for hauling gear, but on the downside it was rusted in place so couldn’t be removed for longer rides, and the chains kept popping off all the bikes. Hopefully an upgrade/repair is planned as it was a nice plus to not have to haul our own along or rent them separately. The kitchen had all the cooking equipment we needed, though there was only salt and pepper for basic supplies provided. The convenience store within walking distance was nicer than we expected, and proximity to Freshfields for other groceries and dining was fantastic - although that’s the one place we didn’t go by bike as the trail has very little shade and it was hot while we were there. There are elements to the property that are a bit run down, but everything was functional and nice. It’s one of those neighborhoods where all the houses are close together, but it was quiet and lush, and it’s nice to not have to deal with the traffic at the main resort gate if you don’t want to. On the comfort side, hopefully the linens will be updated with the beds this fall, which the owner previously noted was happening, since the sheets were low quality/scratchy. Overall, very happy with our stay!

This is our 2nd time staying here and the distance to the beach and Freshfields is unmatched. We don’t spend a lot of time indoors, so this was perfect place for us. There are a few bikes that come with the rental which was great for riding around the island. Overall, great place for the price! Thanks again for opening your cottage to us!

We had a great time at the Villa. The bikes were fun for the kids and adults. I would recomend renting a pull behind wagon. Will help a lot with getting everything to the beach.. or you can bring a rolling wagon. there are shortcuts to the pool and beach. ask around before heading there, we didnt realize this until the second day.

We enjoyed our week and took advantage of the easy pool, beach, and bike trail access. The property was a perfect fit. I contacted the property mngr for a broom to sweep the porches and received no response (easy fix for future renters). Good to note that there are only 2 functioning bikes rather than 4. Great fun on the trails. Rentals in the village.

We found this house to be very comfortable. The bed linens, towels and kitchen supplies were provided and were ample. The layout of the house was great. We enjoyed the use of bicycles and an outdoor area for rinsing off. The beach and community pool were easy walks in different directions. Since this community is just outside the main gates of Kiawah Resort, unless going elsewhere on the island, you will avoid having to wait in line at the security check point.

Kudos to Tom as he was the most responsive of any property owner with which we've ever stayed. A text with questions or a request was responded to and addressed within minutes. We love Kiawah and have rented there perhaps 15 times in the last 10-12 years. This property was very clean, but could have used additional linens and towels, kitchen basics, and repair to the bikes that were provided. Tom did his best to address these concerns during our stay. The pool was closed to renters due to COVID which was a huge bummer to us as the Inlet Cove pool and location is one of the main reasons we stay there. Certainly that can't be controlled in these uncertain times. The island, however, did not disappoint and golf, beach, Salty Dog, Ryder Cup Bar, and a sea turtle siting made it a trip worthwhile.

We weren’t sure we would be able to make this trip due to the virus but Tom was so accommodating and understanding. We didn’t have any worries while staying at his house. His home is a close walk to the beach and to other activities! Tom is also very easy to get ahold of if you need something! If you are staying in Kiawah at this time, make sure to check when stores/restaurants are open or closed. Thanks for an amazing getaway!
