This historic log home is now available to add to your vacation fun. Located within easy walking distance from the Glacier Park Lodge and just off the 1st golf hole, the newly renovated home has captured a piece of the past. 4 bedrooms (5 queen beds), 2 1/2 baths with kitchen, living room & laundry facilities. Upstairs clawfoot tub now has a real shower installed. With a little bit of history (log walls, iron beds, antiques, & reproduction cookstove) mixed with a convection oven, microwave & BBQ to make your stay cozy and relaxing. Experience all of the wonders of Glacier (10 miles from Two Medicine, Glacier's best kept secret) and then enjoy the view from the upstairs claw foot bathtub. All the modern conveniences (TV and internet) with the charm of the past. Bring warm clothes as it is in the mountains & cools off at night. And if you want to travel to Canada, which is nearby, bring your passport. The Candy Kitchen is an excellent home base to explore Glacier National Park. The East Side of Glacier is the best side with Two Medicine Lake, St Mary Lake and Many Glacier. We spent 5 days here hiking, exploring and boating. Can't rave enough. We timed it on the early side to avoid crowds and lucky with the Going to the Sun Road opening during our visit. The Candy Kitchen is one of the very best places to stay on the East side of Glacier unless you are going to stay in the Historic Lodges. But then you do not all get to be together in one place. Colleen the host is the best. She lives right next door and quickly responds to your every need. We didn't have very many needs because the house is well decked out and the kitchen has everything you will need plus the washer and dryer. Can't recommend the Candy Kitchen enough.

Great location for day trips to Many Glacier, Saint Mary’s and Two Medicine entrances. Also made our way to West Glacier for rafting excursion. Everything very convenient by Montana standards. Recommend grocery shopping in Kalispel or Helena if driving in from Bozeman as we did, local grocer stores have limited selection. Home was very comfortable and well equipped and Colleen was welcoming and hospitable. Layout was great for our group of 8. Bedrooms are split 2 on one side of house, two on the other. The large 2 Queen bedroom and large bathroom is upstairs adjacent to another queen bedroom with nearby half bath. Opposite side of house are two queen bedrooms that share a full bath with shower. Extra refrigerator in garage was useful. Nice Weber gas grill. Everything very well maintained. Strongly recommend this property.

We had a wonderful time at the Candy Kitchen. The host is the most engaged host I have ever had with a VRBO, and gave us a thorough tour of the property when we got there. Great time and a great location for golf and East Glacier Park.

We had a fantastic MT vacation and coming home at the end of each day to Candy Kitchen helped make it so. The house is literally stocked like your own home, completely comfortable and not a utensil, bedding or bath item missed. Very clean. The home is very close to the Two Medicine park entrance, but a good 1 hour ride (with construction) to the popular Going to the Sun Road entrance. That did not deter us from driving there 3 times, though it was that worth it. In fact, we felt better about it when we saw the back-log of cars entering the park from the West, versus the ease we had from the East. That is the only reason I put a 4 star for location.

6 of us stayed at the. Andy Kitchen as a base for exploring the wonders of the area and Glacier National Park. It was so comfortable and accommodating for our group. We had enough privacy and great space for together time. The home is very well equipped and maintained. All the beds were comfy and the view from the back porch is spectacular. Our host, Colleen had excellent communication and was the best. We hiked, kayaked, golfed, went fly fishing and took in everything we could in a week. What a gem.

Perfect base for our family of two parents and three teenagers to stay while we explored Glacier National Park. The house has everything we would have needed in our own home, which made this vacation so easy. For example, I wanted to pack sandwiches for the park. I was happy to find aluminum foil to wrap them in - I didn't need to buy that. I also appreciated that there were boxes of Kleenex in the bedrooms because I usually have to buy that when we stay at other VRBO properties. Our host Colleen provided a binder full of answers to any questions that might arise. It was so lovely to meet her and know she was available for any additional help if needed. Overall, if you want the comfort, ease, and space of staying in a home on your vacation, the Candy Kitchen was PERFECT!
Helpful hint: the local market had some basics but there are two large grocery stores just a short drive to the town of Browning.

We were very pleased with the accommodations. The only glitch was contacting the property manager due to lack of cell phone service. Once we checked in and had Wi-Fi access that was no longer a problem.

Beautiful, warm and clean
The location is perfect as we were there with family and friends to hike East Glacier and Many Glacier.
The home was so cozy having everything you would need and plenty of room for both families. Kitchen was nice, beds were cozy, views were spectacular. I would recommend this place to anyone who is wanting to hike East Glacier or just looking for a peaceful getaway.
Lastly, Colleen was a great host. Close by and available, but not nosey or stopping by unannounced. She has been with this property for almost 30 years and clearly has a love for it!
We would stay here again next time back to northern MT. Thanks for a great stay!

Beautiful home and country.
Candy kitchen is everything and more than our expectations. We had 9 adults and our 10 month old grandson. The living and sleeping arrangements are great. The setting and history of this home are outstanding. There is a very nice grocery store and excellent coffee shop and Mexican restaurant one mile away. Beautiful river and Mountain View’s top it all off!

Our stay in East Glacier
Colleen was great to deal with. The house was immaculate and well organized, with binders containing information about the house, nearby restaurants and grocery stores, and information about Glacier National Park. Colleen stopped over several times to make sure everything was going well.

Great place to get away to Glacier
This is a fantastic place to get away from daily life and launch into the mountains of Glacier. It is near the Two Medicine area and a very reasonable distance from Many Glacier and the Going to the Sun Road (distances are further in MT). After a day of hiking in the most spectacular scenery in North America, you can go back and completely relax in this lovely clean, comfortable, and well-appointed house. Our entire family of 9 (adults and adult children) enjoyed cooking together every night. What a pleasure!

Location, Location, Location!
Candy Kitchen was wonderful. As someone else wrote, the pictures don't do it justice. The kitchen was stocked better than my house, the beds very comfortable, and the house spacious. It was perfectly located to allow us day trips to Two Medicine (very close), St Marys, and Many Glacier areas. Colleen was the perfect Host!

This property surpassed our expectations. Colleen was a marvelous hostess and was very helpful and responsive. She goes the extra mile to be helpful.
The kitchen is so well equipped that we couldn't think of another item we could have needed. The beds are all very comfortable, and the setting for the property is marvelous. This is a great base for visiting Glacier National Park. It is much more relaxing and less crowded than the West side of the Park.

What a great historic place! We had such a good time and Colleen was a fantastic host. Perfect base camp for all the fun in Glacier. It was great to have such nice accommodations after long days of hiking and fun in the park. The back porch is divine in the evenings.

Comfortable Glacier Getaway
The Candy Kitchen did not disappoint. This cozy and comfortable home was well-equipped with everything we needed. We enjoyed grilling out on the porch and making meals in the spacious kitchen. The house was super clean and well organized. Colleen was very communicative and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and will for sure be back!

Colleens customer service was above and beyond. The house is perfectly located near many good hikes and activities. And as if everything wasn't perfect enough Colleen has an amazing cat that comes by to say hello and an amazing dog that greets you like you're old friends. We had an fantastic time visiting Glacier National Park but our whole family agrees that staying at the Candy Kitchen House and meeting Colleen enhanced our trip tremendously.

Fantastic little spot in East Glacier!
Our stay at the Candy Kitchen was perfect! Colleen the host was lovely and made us feel right at home. She walked us through the house and provided recommendations and insights that helped us plan our visit. The house is very close to the Glacier Lodge, just a short walk for information, meals, events and family activities.
If you are not familiar with Glacier NP (and we weren't), East Glacier is a bit of a drive to get to hiking options and the Going To The Sun Road. Not a problem, but just a point of note. The town is small but has all the basics and a lot of local flavor.
The house is close to the train station, could be walkable or rental car service is offered.
Highly recommend this property for a relaxing stay--offering all the comforts of home.

The Perfect Place
Wow! The Candy Kitchen is treasure tucked into the east side of Glacier Park. We have stayed in many vacation rentals, and the Candy Kitchen is far superior in comparison. Colleen, the property manager, is a delight and facilitates a perfect experience for your visit. We had 9 people staying here ranging in ages from 6-71. There was plenty of space for everyone and the yard surrounding the property was perfect for evening gathering. The kitchen is absolutely incredible here, and we had a blast cooking/baking as a family on a rainy afternoon—they really have thought of everything here.
If you are looking to visit the east side, this is the perfect location for you. Glacier Park Lodge is located in the front yard of the Candy Kitchen and is a hub of activity for the park. My family all agreed that they hope to come back again.

Absolutely wonderful!
The Candy Kitchen Resort is beautiful and the manager, Colleen was exceptionally nice and accommodating. It had everything we needed to live and cook in the house. It is not only beautiful but very functional. There is internet, TV and a DVD player, an amazing stove and refrigerator, etc. The outside is also wonderful with a lovely yard and view with abundant wildlife. It is on the outskirts of East Glacier so you are out of town but able to get to shops and restaurants easily. It was a great location to explore the park from. We had a wonderful time and will treasure our stay at the Candy Kitchen Resort!

A perfect stay!
Our group of 10 friends loved our stay at the Candy Kitchen! Every detail has been thought out - more than enough towels for our big group, kitchen had everything we needed and more, plenty of room for our big group to sit and eat and hang out! Colleen is a warm and wonderful host. When we had trouble with the WiFi, she brought over her router for us to use. When one of our friends was not feeling well, Colleen brought her tea and checked on her during the day. Home is beautiful, amenities are amazing! We will always remember our fantastic stay at the Candy Kitchen! Thank you, Colleen!

Perfect. Absolutely perfect!
I am having a difficult time writing this review, because... My words can not do this place justice. We had 10 adults staying here for a family reunion, get together. Spending time together...and time in Glacier Park. We had a fabulous time doing both. This place couldn’t have been better.
From the great location for visiting the east side of the park, to the well appointed home...The Candy Kitchen lacks for nothing. Even with 10 of us... this place was roomy, comfortable, and made it easy to “get along”. It was perfect for meals, entertaining, or just sitting around after a long day out hiking. Wonderful restful surroundings. Well appointed. Private.
The Candy Kitchen is a beautiful, up dated historic log home, that made our reunion and Glacier trip one to remember. We could not have asked for more. Absolutely perfect.
And now to our lovely host Colleen. This lady is adorable! Definitely a keeper.
She is close enough to help out, or answer questions when needed... but honored our privacy. We even talked her into participating in a family prank! She was a trooper. Thank you Colleen. Thank you for the extra work it took, planning ahead, making adjustments, and during, our family reunion/get together. We are forever grateful.
We Bradley’s will never forget our time together in Glacier. And our time at the Candy Kitchen. It was very hard for us to leave.
