About this house rental
In the spirit of the original Watercolor Community, our 3,400 sqft home on Dandelion Drive boasts an amazing location in a very spacious home decorated in an Americana meets beachy style. Our retreat is a perfect beach getaway located across from Watercolor Tennis center. It’s all about location in Watercolor and a home this close to the front of the neighborhood doesn't come easily – so book fast to grab it before someone else does.
This spacious designer home is currently being renovated for 2024, including a new kitchen and new bathrooms! The updates will be completed just in time for Spring Break 2024.
The spacious main living area is located on the 2nd floor and features full kitchen, dining area under an artisan chandelier, and double door entrance to balcony for outdoor dining and an additional sitting area. There is a second living room on the 1st floor - perfect for kids to play games or watch a movie.

Our only complaint about the house was the lack of kitchen supplies. Most evenings we decided to stay in and cook since the kids were so worn out. A dinner out would have been meltdown central. After getting groceries we got back to the house and realized there wasn’t any seasoning, PAM, or condiments. This made cooking very difficult. It would be nice if the kitchen was more stocked with the basics. More than two trash bags and two dishwasher tabs would have been very helpful.

We had the best time with our family in this house. It was spacious and we loved that the downstairs had a separate living space for the kids to hang out and watch TV. The location was perfect- a quick bike ride, walk, or golf cart drive to multiple pools and the beach. We can’t wait to come back to this house next year!

We stayed with my family of five (3 kids) and my sister’s family of four (2 kids) and my elderly parents. Eleven total. We had 2 bunks and the hallway daybed bed vacant. The kitchen is upstairs with two master suites. 3 bedrooms downstairs. The 4 porches are great.

We had an extended family vacation stay at this beautiful home and brought our two small pups. Plenty of parking onsite. Plenty of room for everyone to have their own space at the end of the day. We loved eating and hanging out on the screened in patio. Easy access to the downtown via walking trails or provided bikes. We had an issue with the fridge and freezer dying the first day we were there and it did take all day for it to get replaced and the new fridge did not get to proper temperature or till the next morning. Was not use to the lack of provisions provided so make sure to bring coffee filters, extras of dishwasher detergent, laundry detergent and kitchen garbage bags, as not enough provided for a stay for two people let alone a full house for 4 days. Also if you are wanting to streaming methods to the TV's nor any HDMI cables provided to plug in your own devices. Was kind of creepy to have someone sitting at the end of the driveway just before 9am waiting in the car for us to depart for the 10am checkout. Overall the stay was great. We would know what to bring next time and will certainly consider staying again if considering 30A as we liked Watercolor.

We were here with our four grand girls, ages 10, twins 11, and a 13 yr old, They loved the beach and rode their bikes everywhere! The house was decorated with lots of color and the girls loved their bedrooms! The location was great but probably more house than we redefine!

We LOVED staying here! The house is spacious and very comfortable. We really liked having the living area on the second floor with the spacious screened in patio. It made eating on the patio very convenient. The house is in a perfect location - right across the street from to the tennis/Pickleball center and easy access to Seaside town center. The tennis center is directly behind the Seaside chapel and is connected by a path. The walk from the house, past Seaside chapel and through Seaside courtyard to Great Southern, Sundog Books etc. was less than 5 minutes. Management is extremely responsive to requests. We had a minor bathroom request that was addressed within a few hours. We will DEFINITELY be back!

An amazing location and beautifully built spacious home. Not a stand out, yet complies to the minimum standard of this high end neighborhood. Though predominantly luxury, we found some corner-cutting unnecessarily annoying and below market compared to past stays on 30a.
- Kitchen…. If you love to cook, you’ll be a little disappointed. Basic fridge cannot fit supplies for 12-15 heads. Low budget electric range and coffee maker. Inoperable griddle w/ missing power cord. Average functioning Chargrill brand gas grill.
- Electronics….no smart TVs or App functions. Select TVs w/ cable require a decoder to manage the remote controls. We eventually got a Roku stick to return to this millennium. No central sound system.
- Amenities / Supplies…Either no or bare min kitchen supplies (garbage bags, coffee filters, dish soap, cleaning spray, napkins, paper towels, sponges, dish towels, spices, cooking oils, etc.). No beach towels or chairs. Regardless of common stated policy (which is just legalese), past 30A homes have still always provided these simple accommodations as they go along way in friendly guest service and convenience.
Punch-line…If I lived in this $3-4M home, I’d invest in higher quality devices/appliances. But if I continuously rented it out, I’d source it to a mgmt company and supply the bare minimum given it’s a high demand cash cow due to location. That’s what you are paying for…. A Ritz Carlton/Trump Tower with Residence Inn features for key components.

It's rare that I check into a hotel or VRBO where I walk in and my expectations are exceeded. I'm just picky like that. This was the first time I had taken my whole family, 2 daughters, son in law and 5 grandchildren on a vacation together and I was a little worried about 10 people being in a house together for 7 days. The house was so roomy and there was plenty of space for us to all be together or escape to another living space for some alone time. The furniture and beds were very comfortable, location excellent - just a short walk to camp Watercolor as well as Watercolor Inn. We were off of the main road in our own little circle so the kids could ride scooters in the street with no worry of traffic. The house was beautifully furnished and we literally had everything we needed. We would come back to this house in a minute!! Oh... and the Air Conditioner.... it was AMAZING!! I'm always hot so to check into a large house with an air conditioner that kept up with me.... it was the icing on the cake!! Oh... and the cleanliness... again, very picky but I have not one complaint about the cleanliness when we arrived.... NOT ONE!!

This rental is nicely decorated and surrounded by woods for privacy. It is very big so you have lots of room. Watercolor is an awesome neighborhood to be in. I walked the nature trail that connects right in front of the home every morning. It is perfect for a large family.

House was comparable to the best of the other houses in which I have stayed at Watercolor over the years. By the way, if you’re accustomed to renting in Seaside, be aware that you cannot access Seaside beach if you’re staying in Watercolor, unless you rent beach chairs with Cabanaman, which we did, then Cabanaman suspendes service and we were left high and dry. Back to the house...right away we realized that the internet was not functioning. It took the management company 2 days to get it working. In the meantime my 3 college kids were not able to attend their online classes for two days, putting them behind in their summer sessions. On the third day the upstairs A/C quit working. Fortunately it only took one day to get this problem fixed. Exclusive 30A must have been overwhelmed because it was impossible to speak to a customer service person. You had to email, which I must say, they responded to quickly. They did offer a very small discount for future rental for our trouble. It probably should have been more significant. I would rent here again but insist upon a thorough inspection of critical factors such as A/C and internet prior to our arrival.

We had an overall good experience but got off to a rough start. John (maintenance) was very responsive which was appreciated. Bad news- when we checked in the AC for the downstairs wasn't working properly and we had to have the guys come back and forth multiple times to fix...2 days in all. Also- king bed downstairs was terrible- slats were insufficient so John had to have someone come fix..but they didn't come until the 3rd day. Location was great and liked the roominess of the upstairs open area.

The house was perfect for our needs, accommodating our six adults in three master suites, and four kids in two bunk rooms. Location is perfect, and the indoor/outdoor living spaces are great. Only complaint: for the price, the management company should provide garbage bags, dishwasher detergent, paper towels, toilet paper, and tissues for a 1 week stay. They only provide the "initial supply" (one roll of paper towels, 2 pods of detergent,2 medium-sized trash bags, etc.) of all usable/disposable items, which leaves the renter to purchase more than needed of these items--a problem when flying in from out of state. This policy seems "cheap" and out of sync with the rest of the experience; thus the lower rating for the management company.

We loved our stay at Dandelion! The pictures don’t do the spaces justice...we were shocked at how big the main room and kitchen were compared to the pictures. A really quick walk to the beach too! We have already talked about rebooking because it was that lovely.

Very good. Great location as it is central to both Watercolors and Seaside being its only a direct 2+ block walk to the center of Seaside. The kids enjoy the safe biking riding atmosphere and other amenities. The major problem that wasn't corrected timely was the broken refrigerator shelf which hampered storage and access. The kids also really enjoyed the downstairs "kids area" with 2 b/r, 1 ba and living room combo they could use exclusively. This is a house well suited for family living with the adults having the second floor for entertaining and a wonderful front porch that is a second dining room . We would definitely stay here again!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at this property. We arrived to a home that was immaculately clean, beautifully decorated and very functional for our big group. The management agency responded immediately to every question I had before, during and after our stay. I am especially grateful for the company's responsiveness when we thought we left something behind in the home. Our group was initially concerned about distance from the beach and restaurants of Seaside but as advertised, we could easily walk to everything. The kids enjoyed the (brand new) bikes that came with the house. Especially loved the wildlife area behind this house with walking paths and the lake. I would highly recommend this property to others and definitely look forward to staying in this house again!

This unit is great for a family where you have a group that that needs their own "space". Our teenage grand children took over the bottom floor and it really took a lot of tension out of our visit. Everything was great. We enjoyed Spring Break 2018 with our kids and grandkids so much. Property was as described and immaculate. Great location for SeaSide and pools.Located on a quiet street off the main street. Made it perfect for young bicycle riders.
