You will feel special from the moment you walk into the new, very stylish and contemporary "Delazy Villa". Leave your worries behind and enjoy this exceptional tranquil villa located in the quiet Rotonda West on the Rotonda River. The 2,200 sq ft villa was completed in January, 2016 with new clean comfortable bedding and furnishings waiting for you.
The living/dining/kitchen open concept area is spacious with high ceilings, snack bar and easy living flow and a smart TV. There are 3 sliding doors going out to the over-sized screened patio/pool from the dining and living room areas.
From the moment you wake up in your king size master suite facing the pool and river view, you have direct slider door access to enjoy bird watching from the patio/lanai, relaxing in your sparkling private pool, outdoor dining, or fishing from the riverfront. The master suite has bedside tables, chest of drawers and flat screen TV. The master bath has a large walk in shower and double vanity. The comfortable queen bedroom has another sliding door overlooking the patio pool and flat screen TV. The third bedroom has two comfortable twin beds. All bedrooms have walk in closets and the shared bathroom has another large walk in shower.
!Warning: The nearby beaches were hit by hurricane Milton on 10-7-24. All beaches may not be open before 2024 year end. Cleanup is underway. Therefore, I am offering a 15% discount for new rentals in December 2024. The villa is beautiful, safe and comfortable to stay at with plenty of fun activities nearby and pool to enjoy.
It's only 10-15 minutes to one of our relaxing nearby beaches or islands (Boca Grande, Palm Island and Manasota Key). With 39 miles of white sandy beach and easy parking, you're sure to enjoy several days at the beach. Your vacation could include lunch at a restaurant on the beach, outdoor music and dining, shelling, sunsets, dolphin watching, swimming, fishing or many other water activities. Our villa is ideally located for golfers with 15 golf courses in the area, the closest being within 5 minutes.
The location is ideal for relaxing or enjoying many area activities. There are several unique shopping areas for a day of shopping, parks and historical sites, art and entertainment festivals, nearby grocery stores, shopping malls, fresh markets, outlet malls, bars and fantastic restaurants for casual and fine dining (indoor and outdoor). Several walking paths are located within the Rotonda West circle along with two tennis courts and children's playground. This is the perfect location for short trips to Disney World, Sea World, Busch Gardens, the everglades or Kennedy Space Center.

The villa was just as beautiful in person as it is online. It was clean, well appointed with everything we needed and well located to get the most out of our stay. Gail was quick to respond to our questions and very kind. We will definitely be staying here again.

We had a wonderful time in this great house. Very modern and very clean. You have everything you need for a great day at sea or a barbecue at home. Watching the alligator from the pool in the morning and evening was a highlight. We can absolutely recommend the house.

We loved Delazy Villa! It is a beautiful house by the canal with amazing wildlife to watch. It is super clean and very well maintained. Equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The pool temperature was just perfect for hot July days. The place is quiet and relaxing but still close to restaurants and white sand beaches. The owner is easy to communicate with and makes sure the guests have a nice and safe stay. We found the guest guide very helpful and informative.
Our family had a wonderful time and would definitely stay there again!

Really enjoyed staying at this super clean and beautiful house. We wanted to stay somewhere near Boca Grande and several different beaches. Loved watching the neighborhood wildlife. Already thinking about staying here again next year.

We had a great stay at this lovely villa. The house is an easy drive from many places, and the neighborhood was very quiet. The lanai and pool area are very spacious, and the canal provided us with turtles, birds, and alligators to watch. We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Rotonda West!

The villa is stunning - bright, airy, nicely furnished and very comfortable, a real home from home. It is spotlessly clean and very well equipped with everything you need – and more! We spent most of our time outside, the kids loved the pool (especially the amount of pool toys available!), we ate almost every meal at the outside dining table and the view of the canal is lovely. It’s so peaceful and relaxing; we saw alligators daily, turtles, lots of birdlife and the sunrises down the canal are beautiful. Our favourite local activities are hunting for sharks teeth and watching the amazing sunsets on the pristine beaches (Stump Pass and Blind Pass in particular) so we made good use of the beach equipment and cool boxes provided.
We have been coming to Rotonda for about 20 years but this was our first time at this villa, I wholeheartedly recommend it and will absolutely return if the opportunity arises. One week here was simply not enough!

Our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 teens) thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The house was extremely clean. The bedrooms and bathrooms had everything we needed including plenty of towels, blankets, etc. The kitchen was well stocked and we found everything easily - cooked 2 dinners during our stay. We enjoyed eating outside on the patio, listening to the birds and watching the fish, turtles, and gators in the waterway. The pool was lovely and very clean. The temperature was perfect for swimming in the morning and the hottest parts of the day. We enjoyed using the beach chairs and other accessories for our days at the beaches. The information on beaches, restaurants, and activities the host put together was very helpful. Overall, it was a very nice week with no issues at all with the lovely home.

This home is lovely. Very comfortable living with a beautiful lanai. We enjoyed the pool each day. The kitchen is well equipped and well organized. We found many good restaurants in the local area. This home is a wonderful choice in Rotonda.

This was our second stay in this lovely home. Very clean and comfortable, with everything we needed. The extra beach amenities (chairs, coolers, umbrellas) means we didn’t have to bring as much from home, which we greatly appreciated! We had a couple chilly days, but the heated pool was wonderful. We had a wonderful stay. The home is clean and well kept and had anything that we needed. We saw lots of wildlife including a couple alligators. Beaches are very close as well as shopping and restaurants. We would most definitely stay again!

This was one of the nicest homes we’ve rented. Hosts have thought of everything you might need and we appreciated the beach chairs and toys. We loved lounging by the pool watching for the alligators and turtles to swim by. Close to several nice beaches! Highly recommend and hope to return!

We had a super holiday at this villa. The property was immaculately clean and well stocked with every piece of equipment needed and clear instructions on how to use them !
The bedrooms were large and the beds were very comfortable. Without doubt the best aspect of the stay though was the fabulous pool. Great temperature and big enough for our party of four.
We spent many hours relaxing by the pool watching the local wildlife and the alligators swimming past 😳
My only slight negative is that it is a drive to restaurants shops etc… but that said it’s easy to navigate the roads and it’s also a very peaceful neighbourhood.
If we came to this area again l wouldn’t hesitate to stay in the villa if it was available. It was everything we wanted and a big thanks to Gail for letting us stay there

Property was as described/photographed! Clean and well-kept. Felt a bit bigger than the photos suggested. The whole place was well-equipped. Neighborhood was quiet, exactly as desired.
The property was close to many things to do - we spent a day at Manasota Key Beach and a day in Fort Myers Beach. We will definitely return.
We saw an alligator swim by the first day, and several turtles from the lanai.
Host was kind and communicated as needed.

Fantastic VRBO Property
We enjoyed our stay in a absolutely beautiful villa in Rotonda West. The host was the most lovely lady and answered all of my questions in a quick manner. We enjoyed swimming after 18 holes of golf. We saw Leo "the neighborhood alligator" on a nightly bases. House was clean and had everything I needed to cook evening meals. The beach items in the garage were used 4 out of the 7 days we were there. Neighbors were kind. I invited family over one night and we cooked out on the grill and played games that the hostess supplied. It was a total 10 out of 10 stay for us. Thank you so much Gail for making our stay so comfortable.

A wonderful holiday villa allowing the adults and infant to relax. BBQ’s around the pool a wonderful way to end the day. The villa is well equipped. The use of cool box and umbrellas makes a day at the beach more enjoyable. Will look forward to booking again. Thank you Gail

Great stay, definitely would recommend
Gail's home is beautiful and comfortable. It has many amenities perfect for the beach (towels, coolers, chairs, skim board, umbrellas, etc. etc.) The heated pool was definitely our favorite. Gail provided pack n play, some toys and a high chair for my 12 month old.
Only slight hiccup was difficulty getting ahold of Gail for the majority of the check-in day for the check-in information/door access code, but she was apologetic and got back to us before 4pm.
I highly recommend this property and will try to re-book for future trips.

Clean & Quiet
Overall great first experience with a Vrbo home. Owner was wonderful with communication, local info, and help with minor problem late at night. Convenient location to family in Port Charlotte (10 min), Walmart and Publix (12-15 min), beaches, shopping, restaurants, yet in a quiet neighborhood on beautiful canal.
Pool was unexpectedly nice for December. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, only wish it had been longer. Highly recommend.

Beautiful, clean house!
We loved everything about this house! Lots of windows, great view, saw crocodiles , that was the best thing for our little boy! Boco Grande ($6) was the best beach in our opinion. Thank you Gail for letting us stay at your wonderful house !🙂

Lovely spacious home, tastefully decorated, super clean and well appointed. Located in a quiet development consisting of similarly well maintained, newer homes. We enjoyed the beautiful pool daily and watching wildlife on the canal. The welcome notebook provided many excellent suggestions on restaurants and things to do. Or you can simply relax and take life easy by the pool. This was a fabulous vacation spot for us and we would love to visit again.
