A beautiful house in superb rural location. All as expected.

A beautiful house in beautiful surroundings.
A beautiful house in beautiful surroundings. So peaceful and very relaxing. Everything you could possibly need supplied. Loved the log burner. Beds very comfy. We had to pay for the gas, and had the heating on quite a bit so we were a bit concerned about how much it might be, but for a week in October it was under £50.

Good Covid precautions.
Good Covid precautions. Excellently appointed cottage, a real home from home. Great base for exploring the area with lots to see and do. Only minor niggle was having to read the meter and pay separately for heating, which makes the holiday a little more expensive than the brochure price. Good communication from owner prior to holiday.

Great base for exploring local areas.
Great base for exploring local areas. Many bridleways and footpaths very near to the cottage and pub is within walking distance, takes approx 20 minutes. A very private and peaceful location with a wonderful view over the small lake. Cottage itself is very comfy and equipped with all you'd expect for a week away. Great to have a nespresso coffee maker! Wifi also coped with a number of phones and tablets connected.
The property is not on mains gas supply, and the heating is on a meter and paid for separately, so something that needs to be factored in to the cost of your holiday, especially in Winter. We had heating on timer for twice a day and also spent two full days in the cottage when the weather wasn't great, and so had heating on continuous plus the fire in the lounge and it came to less than a hundred for the week. Overall a great place and we would definitely recommend / revisit.

A lovely character cottage in a beautiful, quiet location by the lake. We had a very relaxing visit, watching the wild birds on the water (and the squirrel on the bird table) and enjoying the calm setting after a day's sightseeing. We found the house spacious and well equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Thoroughly recommended.

This is a comfortable cottage in an area of great rural beauty and historical interest.
This is a comfortable cottage in an area of great rural beauty and historical interest....it's peaceful, tranquil even, and very relaxing. The outlook is beautiful. There are lovely walks from the doorstep, and the whole area is like a vision of England which hasn'ty changed for decades. Many of the local towns are owrth visiting, and the huge Wyre Forest is on your doorstep if you want to lose yourself in woodland by bike or boot. We found it well-euipped and very comfortable in the middle of summer - there's a great barbeque, a fire pit, lots of garden furniture, and more garden than you or your dog could wish for.

Lady’s cottage is set in a wonderful location, the cottage is spacious, very well equipped and comfortable. We all had a lovely Christmas. The lake is particularly spectacular with lots of wildlife around.
Suggestions
The bathrooms are in need of some attention, as they let the property down.
Cream carpets even in the downstairs toilet, were impractical with muddy children and a dog. Tongs would be useful in the kitchen.
Negatives
Paying extra for the price of the gas we ended up with a substantial bill for one weeks stay. This was in addition to the rental we had already paid, and we didn’t even have the heating on all the time.

A very comfortable, well equipped property. We very much look forward to staying there again next year.

We (family of 4 with mum, dad and teenage children) had a great week at Lady's Field House.
We (family of 4 with mum, dad and teenage children) had a great week at Lady's Field House. Fantastic setting with amazing grounds and very secluded / quiet and away from light pollution meaning stargazing was an added bonus.
House is comfortable and spacious with well appointed kitchen. Decoration and furnishings were not to our (more contemporary) taste but the house was clean and tidy.
Minor niggles / suggestions: Being asked to pay extra for hot water on top of the nearly £800 booking - even though it came to less than £7 - is a petty and irritating requirement better dropped.
The bathroom upstairs had traces of mouldy silicone and both bathrooms could do with refurbishing as they let the overall standard down.
Lake could do with some clearing of blanket weed and lilies to allow more clear water for keen anglers.
Would be book it again? Probably not as we like to go to new places on holiday. Would we recommend it? Yes - if you are looking for a quiet comfortable countryside retreat within easy reach of amenities, great walks and National Trust and English Heritage properties, with a wide choice of town and country restaurants then you won't be disappointed.
