Great location, as others have mentioned to get to Harbour & shops it is pretty steep down steps...although very doable and good exercise. The house is very comfortable, great sunny balcony and garden. Very cosy, comfortable feeling as soon as you walk in. Perfect car parking space ideal for one large car. Very well equipped kitchen. Lovely 4 bedroomed property Set Over 3 floors.
Lovely 4 bedroomed property Set Over 3 floors.
Lovely 4 bedroomed property Set Over 3 floors. Large lower floor with kitchen diner leading out onto the garden. Garden is small but ample space to sit out and enjoy the stunning views over Brixham. Short walk to the harbour and amenities. There is a steep walk back but we enjoy walking so not an issue. Parking for 3 cars - 2 on the drive and one across. Access via car is very narrow and winding but we did get used to it. 2 well equipped bathrooms. Overall a lovely family holiday home. Recommended. Nice cottage but it's on a very steep hill.
Nice cottage but it's on a very steep hill.
Nice cottage but it's on a very steep hill. And I do mean steep. The garden is tiny and is not what is advertised on the booking site. Not suitable for elderly people or those with ability issues.

Samphire Cottage was lovely and I cannot recommend it enough.
Samphire Cottage was lovely and I cannot recommend it enough.
Samphire Cottage was lovely and I cannot recommend it enough. However, the parking is very hit and miss around the cottage especially if you have 2 cars. It is a lottery as to whether you can actually park outside the house. The are is steep! Be warned if you're not used to walking up hills then you're in for a surprise when you get there. The roads are very narrow and the locals take no prisoners when driving around, so please be careful when driving around. Fish and chips in Brixham are absolutely gorgeous, especially from Nicks Chips on the harbour.

We were a group of eight, four kids and four adults. The photos online of the cottage don't do it justice! It's a beautiful house, clean, warm and welcoming with amazing bathrooms and a lovely sized kitchen. We were slightly concerned about the amount of rubbish left outside when we arrived, we even needed to re- bag it as it ended up all over the garden and driveway - possibly this could be avoided if clearer signage is up stating bins must go out for Thursday, as I think the last people to stay there just dumped everything outside when they left on the Saturday. However, this didn't spoil our experience and we found the property well located for various days out and trips down to Brixham Harbour. There was lots to do, even when the weather was bad. We wouldn't hesitate in booking again, we had an amazing holiday!
